Hyuto stared at the names that were listed on the chat group and was truly growing curious as he recognised and understood a few of them. First being Ignis Fatuus, which usually referred to the phosphorescent light seen at night time due to the spontaneous combustion of gas from decomposed organic matter.
Green Saint was a strange one.
Green could mean something significant to this person, but it could also just be a simple describing word for a simple thing. Saint usually referred to some kind of important figure within religious churches, and he had come across a number of them in the past where they have worshipped different gods here for giving mortals such power.
Royal Black Hero was a title of interest as well. The person may have taken the title of hero due to some kind of deeds they have done that have held great significance, though that was an assumption. However, the last other one was a name that confused him a bit as it was both a depressing and somewhat good name.
Despaired might refer to some kind of life or a horrible thing that has occurred to this person, and the beauty might be referring to that despair or it was referring to their physical appearance. He wasn't certain, but he did know that these names must hold some kind of significance to the people that were in this chat group.
After all, it seemed that he was given the name The Walking Calamity. It was a very fitting name as he was basically a walking collection of natural disasters and more, though he was very much certain that he didn't make that name himself.
It wasn't long before it all started.
[Royal Black Hero: Hello?]
[Green Saint: Greetings? Does anyone know of how it is we have found ourselves in this situation?]
[Ignis Fatuss: Hello... What is this chat?]
[Royal Black Hero: I assume that all of us have received the same invitation through that same hologram, correct?]
[Green Saint: +1]
[Ignis Fatuus: +2]
[Royal Black Hero: I see, so we're all from different worlds... This is... surprising]
Hyuto just watched as the messages were rolling through within the chat as he could already tell that these people weren't any kind of machine, they were obviously sentient. Though, they might be incredibly advanced artificial intelligence. The Omniverse is a massive neverending place after all, who knows what was out there.
[The Walking Calamity [♛]: Greetings. I assume that all of you have read what we have been told of this Omniversal Group Chat, correct?]
[Green Saint: +1]
[Ignis Fatuus: +2]
[Royal Black Hero: +3]
[Green Saint: Ah, the admin of this chat has finally appeared! Do you perhaps know of how it is that we have found ourselves into this situation?]
[The Walking Calamity [♛]: Unfortunately, I do not. I am just as in the dark as to how we have been brought together from different existence into this chat as the rest of you are]
[Royal Black Hero: That's too bad... I was told of how you were chosen as the admin of this group, and I can assume that the others were also told the same. So, we assumed that you might be able to tell us something about this]
[The Walking Calamity [♛]: While I may not know how or why it is that we have come together like this. I do have a guess as to the reason]
[Green Saint: Oh, please do enlighten us!]
[Ignis Fatuus: +1]
[Royal Black Hero: +2]
[The Walking Calamity [♛]: Well, I can assume that the person who had brought us together must have a significant role within the Omniverse. To be able to connect multiple individuals from difference existences that may very well abide by different laws requires immense power, and I can assume that this person does have such. Much more than any of us]
[Royal Black Hero: Ah! You mean this might be the work of a god?]
[The Walking Calamity [♛]: I won't say that is the entire case here]
[Ignis Fatuus: What do you mean?]
[The Walking Calamity [♛]: Well, even the gods have their limits, you know? From what I know, even gods cannot access outside their planes of existence. So, whoever this may be could very well be far stronger than any deity out there]
[Green Saint: That... is truly interesting]
[Royal Black Hero: Well, at least we can assume that whatever this chat group is that it doesn't seem to be anything bad at the least. If anything, it is a gift considering what we have been told about rewards and such for doing these... quests]

[The Walking Calamity [♛]: Perhaps so, though we should still remain on guard in case anything were to occur. Also, it appears that we may very well be able to see one another if what it says about the ability to world travel holds any truth]

[Green Saint: Well, aside from that. I believe that we should introduce ourself since these names of ours are rather... interesting. I shall start, you may call me Warrod Sequen]
[Royal Black Hero: I'll go next. My name is Lux Arcadia!]
[Ignis Fatuus: Willa the Ignis Fatuus... just call me Willa]
The others seemed confused as Hyuto didn't seem to be responding, they were waiting but just blinked as he hadn't sent anything through. Though, they were surprised when a sudden message was notified to all of them as they stared at the holographic screens in front of them.
{The Walking Calamity has changed his name to Hyuto Ryuzae}
[Hyuto Ryuzae [♛]: Sorry for not responding. I was just trying to determine how it is that we could alter our names. Nice to meet all of you. My name is Hyuto Ryuzae, just call me Hyuto though]
[Royal Black Hero: Oh, it's fine, Hyuto! How is it that we change our names anyway?]
[Hyuto Ryuzae [♛]: There should be an icon depicting that of a pencil near the top where your name should be]
[Green Saint: Oh, I see it!]

[Warrod Sequen: I do have to ask about our fifth member within this chat group. Why is it that they have yet to speak to us?]
[Hyuto Ryuzae [♛]: They're probably hesitant to speak just yet. We shouldn't expect everyone to be open to speaking with strangers, especially if it is under such an abnormal circumstance such as this. Not everyone is open to the idea of a random hologram appearing in front of their face]

She was truly confused.
It wasn't long before she had gotten home after a day at school, and when she flopped onto her bed she had been given this strange invitation to join this Omniversal Chat Group. It wasn't on a device or anything, but as a hologram that had appeared in front of her face. She thought she was dreaming it, but it wasn't the case.
Plus, holograms should be possible...
She had decided to join the chat due to curiosity, and was confused by the names of the people that she had found had joined the group. She could tell that they were all nicknames, and the admin appeared to be this person called The Walking Calamity or something. Everything she had been informed of by this chat confused her and was in disbelief.
Talk about different worlds and such... it sounded like a fantasy thing. SImply impossible.
She thought this was some prank, but it seemed that these people were truly confused like she was. However, she noticed how they were all taking the situation quite calmly and were all taking the situation in well. It was as if this wasn't the craziest thing that they had ever seen, though maybe it really was just normal for them.
Well, maybe not normal, but not enough to shock them.
Just from watching their messages, she could see that these people were probably not normal. And if what she had been told about this chat connecting people from different worlds was indeed true, then she wasn't sure what to honestly think. The concept of different worlds was just a theory by scientists, and yet these people were seemingly familiar, well most of them at least if how they were reacting to it was anything to go by.
She flinched though when she read the name that she had been given. She knew exactly where the despaired part came from, it wasn't like her life was good in any way. Though, she couldn't help but feel flustered when she read the second part of her nickname, the part where she had been called beauty. No one had ever called her that.
Though, she was truly interested in them. All of them seemed really nice and were hitting it off really well with each other. This Willa person seemed to not say much, but was getting along well with the others who she was able to guess were all males since their names weren't really feminine sounding in any way.
She gave a small gulp as she laid down on her bed, the bags under her eyes present as her tired eyes stared at the holographic chat room. She raised shaken hands and gave another gulp of nervousness as she began to type. A small but simple greeting as she really didn't know what else to say.
She hadn't really spoken with anyone nor made any friends. So, even sending a simple text to a group of people was like a massive step for her as she had honestly never felt so nervous in her entire life. With all the bullying and abuse that she had dealt with, she had never really even attempted to try and make friends. Mostly due to fear.
[Despaired Beauty: Hello, everyone...]
