Chapter 16: chapter sixteen
Ryu was standing in the training ground with a relax stance wait for something to happen
"you know we're not going to do anything if you keep hiding" he said
hearing his words, A boy with blonde hair jumps out of the bushes and rushes at Ryu while throwing shuriken at him. Ryu easily block them with a kunai.
leaning his head to the side dodging the kunai aimed at the back of his head.
he raised his hand to block the punch coming from the blonde boy he kept on attacking him while kunais harass him from time to time.
Ryu decided to start attacking. Moving at blinding speed he reached the boy punching him in the guts knocking the air out of him.
dodging another kunai, he turned his head towards the culprit it was girl with red hair and glasses.
"you have to do more than that if you want to get me"
she made some hand sign taking in a deep breath

she shot a mass of water towards him. He easily flickers out of the way. the boy jumps behind him throwing smoke bombs planning to blind his sight.
believing he was distracted, the girl attacked me with a barrage of shuriken and kunai. Ryu turns into a log, the result of the Body Replacement Technique.
seeing her location revealed, she went off to find a new hiding spot, while the girl went hiding, the boy attack Ryu again thinking he got me but he was tricked by a Genjutsu, Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique. after knocking him out Ryu turned his to the explosion kunais coming his way

using this he pushed the kunai away as they exploded the girl tried to hide again but Ryu moved to her back a putting a kunai on her neck
"you lose again" he said
"haa, is really had to defeat you Ryu-nii" Karin said
"that because I'm more experience than you Karin" he comforted her "alright go patch up Naruto then we'll go get some ramen"
Ryu was currently training with Naruto and Karin. it has been a few months since Shisui left the village the situation has become even worst.
itachi seems to have had enough of the clan he has been trying to tell them that the coup won't work that it will just cause pointless death but no one listens. even Ryu has started to get annoyed with them.
Danzo has decided to keep silent about what happened with Shisui. it seems his injury kept him bedding for a month. Ryu was hoping he die from it but that didn't happen.
he made up an excuse for the missing arm, but he did not let Ryu go in peace. Ryu has lost count how many people from the root he had to kill for him to give up.
after eating with Naruto and Karin. Ryu went to the HQ and changed to his uniform and went for the meeting.
it seems that itachi has been promoted to the rank of captain it was very shocking to the people around because itachi was not yet 13 yrs yet.
'I guess he has been meeting Danzo. it not really that different from the anime.'
"Yo itachi, congratulations" Ryu congratulated him
"thanks" itachi said
"guess you got ahead of me this time we won't be able to continue doing everything together anymore" Ryu said
normally Ryu and itachi do most things at the same time like they graduated together, became chunni together and became anbu.
"yeah your right"
"Ryu-san the hokage is asking for you" an anbu came to call me.
"okay I'll there" Ryu nodded
"seems we'll have to talk later" he said to itachi
he went towards the hokage office.as he reached, Ryu felt that Danzo was also there.
'I guess this means trouble' Ryu thought as I knocked on the door
"enter" Ryu heard the hokage voice
when Ryu entered, he could feel Danzo's glare on me but he ignored it.
"Lord third you called for me" he said to the hokage
"yes, crow I have a very important mission that I need you to do" he said as he brought out a scroll "there has been report of some Iwa ninjas entering the land of fire in lager numbers. I want you to go confirm this news and report back. with your ability you should be able to get the information needed without been seen do you understand"
"yes, Lord third" Ryu said
he was right with Ryu's ability to sense chakra over a distance, he won't have problem identifying their numbers
"okay you can go"
Ryu walked out of the office. he could already feel that this was a trap made by Danzo
'but he should know that it won't be easy if he wants to kill me' thinking about it won't do anything I will just have to see what he has planned.' Ryu thought as he didn't understand what Danzo was thinking
He walked back to his apartment to take the necessary thing he need for the mission the mission will take quite a lot of time it takes 5 days to reach his destination for a normal ninja but Ryu wasn't a normal ninja. he will take 2 days even or less if he uses the flying thunder god technique but knowing that Danzo is planning something he plans on going in the normal pace.
the next day Ryu started his journey for my mission I moved at a normal speed when he left Ryu could feel some of the ninjas from the root following him but they left after a day.

it has been five days since then Ryu finally came to the village where the report said when spread his senses. he was shocked because the numbers of ninjas reached up to 50 not only that but they have surrounded him
'it seems Danzo sold me out, but 50 ninjas Onoki must really not want another Madara' Ryu thought as it was only the fourth tsushikage was able to live through all three wars.so he knew the monster that was Uchiha Madara.
he felt the Ninjas coming closer he didn't bother running because this was a perfect time to use his new technique.
'it not every day one gets to meet people bring themselves to die'
Ryu pulled his zanpakto as he got ready to fight when he suddenly received information from the clone, he left in Konoha
'so that is what you were planning'
Danzo plan was not to kill him but stall Ryu using the Iwa ninja. from what he got from the clone Danzo has just ordered itachi to kill the Uchihas so he sent him away from the village so he couldn't stop it.
"it was a good plan but he doesn't know that I have a backup plan."
"still I have to go back to the village but before I go let take care of things here"
