Chapter 21: chapter 21
Ryu moved through the streets of Konoha heading to the academy. today is the day Karin and the others were going to graduate.
as Ryu walked towards the academy, he could already see a lot of parent waiting for their kids.
"Ryu-san" hearing his name he turned to see Karin's mother waving at him
he went to stand where she was and said
"aunty how are?"
"I'm fine Ryu it has been really hard to see you these days"
"that because I have mission to do and you are mostly at the hospital"
"that true" she said with a smile
during the time she has spent in the village she has been promoted to head medic in the village so she stays at the hospital a lot.
they chatted while waiting for them to come out of the school. Ryu was confident that they will all pass as he has taught Naruto the shadow clone technique.
after some time, the children started to come out some were happy while others were sad. He spots Naruto and the others as they walked towards them
"nii-san look I finally became a ninja, now I'm close to become hokage" Naruto said
Ryu smiled at him saying "congratulations on becoming ninjas but this is only the first step there is long way before you reach there"
"yeah you can't even beat me idiot" sasuke said
"HEY !!!what did you say?"
both of them started to argue as Hinata tried to stop them. sasuke was not as cold as he was in the anime but he is still obsessed about getting stronger.
not long after sasuke mother came smiling Ryu greeted her. after that she started to talk with Karin's mom. he just stood at the side watching. When it was time to leave,
Ryu said "I'm going to take Naruto with me for a bit" saying that he put my hand on Naruto as they disappeared. they appeared on top of minato's stone head.
"I still can't get used to that" Naruto said as he held his head he continued "why did you bring me hear nii san"
looking at the village below "Naruto what do think about the village"
"I love it" he answered
Ryu smiled when he heard it
"Naruto, I am going to tell you something very important" Ryu said
Ryu sat down with him as he told him everything. About his parents and the Nine tails.
Ryu had already talked to the hokage about it. he didn't agree at first but after pestering him he gave in but said he could only tell him after he graduated.
After he finish telling him Naruto was already in tears. he was really an emotional boy. he waited for him to get it out of his system
"so, do you hate your parents and the village" Ryu asked
he shook his head and said "no it is the Nine tails fault"
hearing his answer, Ryu smiled and said but "is it really his fault after both of you are more of the same situation"
"huh !!?" he looked at him as didn't understand
he explained "you see the Nine tails for Centuries of being regarded as a mindless monster and sought after as a tool for war caused it to hate humans. After that he has always been seen as a monster by everyone so he was seal so he wasn't really happy about it. do you think is fair to him"
he seems to have gotten what he was trying to pass on. he told him this so he understands Kurama, as he wants him to learn how to use the Nine tails power earlier.
He continued to talk as he told him more about his parents. Ryu wanted to try one last thing.
"Naruto look at me" Ryu said
as he activated his Sharingan to enter his mind scape. the place was dark the floor was water as he walks it ripples after moving a bit Ryu saw a giant cage in it was the nine tails demon fox Kurama.
Kurama is a red-orange colored kitsune(fox) with black fur around its red eyes that stretch up to its ears, and nine long swiping tails. It also has an upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands
looking at the seal it seems throughout the years, Kurama weakened the seal through the cracks of its formation by constantly leaking out small portions of its chakra, which had positive side-effects on Naruto such as amplifying his naturally large chakra reserves and healing ability, being able to heal from minor wounds within seconds to major injuries within a day.
Ryu stood in front of the giant fox as he released pressure but it didn't really affect me. they looked at each other waiting for the first to speak
"so, what do you want kid!!?" Kurama asked
"noting just came to see the great demon fox and I have to say you are more impressive than I thought"
"Why?? aren't you afraid of me?", he asked
after a moment of hesitance, he answered, "no not really because i think you are misunderstood."
The surprise was visible on Kyuubi's face, which was quickly followed by anger.
"What did you just say? Choose your next words very carefully", he growled out.
"you don't have to get angry about it KURAMA"
this time he couldn't keep his shock in
"how do you know my name!!??"
"there are a lot of things I know but that for me to know and you to find out" Ryu said
"What do you want?" he asked seeing he wasn't going to get anywhere
"If you wouldn't mind", a smile appeared on HIS face, "I would you be Naruto's friend"
Kyuubi was truly stupefied at the request. For the first time, in centuries of his existence, someone had asked if they could be his friend. He saw that the Kyuubi was surprised and for the Kyuubi, if his request was not surprising enough, he was totally blown away by what Ryu did next.
"don't try saying that it can happen after all i also have a friend inside me"
saying that the part of the mindscape behind me started to change as it turns to a grassy plain
he was confused at what was happening
then suddenly a giant golden crow landed it was the same size as Kurama
"let me introduce you to my close friend
"JĪNWŪl"
