Chapter 26: Ryu vs Kakashi, begin!
(6 Month Later)
'I remember Aang and Jinora where able to take a spirit form, if I ever get kidnapped or need to find someone or something it can be useful, but different world different laws, but I am able to use Chi as well so maybe I can, might as well try.'I thought to myself, nothing significant has happened ever since the attack 6 months ago, and in the end it ended with a target on Akatsuki's back from the Leaf hindering them somewhat, seeing as to the other villages they attacked the Leaf unprovoked so it lowered the amount of jobs they would give them.
Moving on though, I start to meditate and after a while it worked, and looking back at my body, I didn't notice the thing behind me, deciding to look around, I turn and saw the Shinigami right in front of me scaring the hell outta me.
"What the hell?! Why are you here?!"I asked while jumping back in fright since this is literally the god of death that can easily kill me.
"Because you intrigue me, and your soul, it's different from every other, like the rainbow, but glows more a blue."He said with his usual cynical smile and hoarse voice.
"That's nice and everything, but why can't I see you in my body?"I asked him, even though I had am idea I just chose to ask anyway.
"Because I choose not to show myself, imagine having the god of death follow you everywhere."He joked, but it was creepy cause of his permanent smile, but at least he seems to have a humor.
"Wait, why don't you take my soul right here though seeing as I'm out my body?"I asked, and it may seem like a dumb idea to ask this cause it may give him the idea, but he probably thought of it anyway and if he chooses to he can kill me while I'm still in my body.
"Because this is just a projection of your soul, it still reside in your body and that's why it hasn't dropped dead."He explained.
"I see, but can't you forcefully pull my soul from my body?"I continued asking.
"No, I made it a rule to only kill those who's souls have left their body or unless you summon me and create a contract where I take your soul and someone or something else."
"So like the reaper death seal?"
"Yes."Huh, so if I ever need to I can make a deal with the devil to kill someone, or the Shinigami in this case.
"Alright, nice talk I guess, but have you been following my whole life?"
"Yes."
"So I can assume you won't stop?"
"Yes."Sighing in defeat, I go back to my body.
"So that's the Shinigami, huh?"I thought to myself, shaking my head I get up and go to see Hinata.
(6 Months Later)
"Alright class, this is the last time I'll be seeing you if you all pass, I just want to tell you how proud I am of all of you."Iruka said, right now we're gonna take the final exams to graduate from the academy.
"First we'll take a written exam and then the practical exam."He continued, after he gave each of us a paper with questions front and back, it was mainly questions about our history and what you should do in certain situations on a mission. Finishing quickly I go to sleep to burn time.
(Two Hours Later)
"Ryu wake up, the test is over."Hinata says while shaking me up.
"Huh? Oh,*yawn*thanks Hinata."I said while stretching.
"You're such a sleepy head."She said to me while giggling.
"Yeah, well it's cause the thought of you keeps me up all night."I said teasingly, but while her face reddened she teased back.
"And who said it wasn't the same for me."She whispered hotly in my ear before leaving the room, looking around I saw that most of it was clear except a few students with their headbands, deciding it's fine, I bang my head against the table to get the sexual thoughts out my head seeing as we're still 12.
'I'll have my revenge next time.'I thought to myself while feeling the pain overwhelm my lust. Walking out I see a line to the practical exam room where they test you on Jutsu, going on the end since I don't know where else to go, after some time it's my turn and go in.
"Alright Ryu, it's good your last since you were going to be last anyway. Since you can't perform Jutsu you will have a Taijutsu battle, at least that's normally, the Hokage wants you to go against a Jonin to see the extent of your ability's, so we're going to training ground three where we'll meet the Hokage and said Jonin."Iruka explained to me while I nodded, though we won't go all out I still don't want to be stressed by going against a Jonin... Actually this may be a good way to relieve stress caused by Hinata, whatever.
"Alright."I gave a simple answer contradicting my thoughts a bit.
"Ok I'll take you, Mizuki you don't need to come, take the rest of the day off."Iruka said to Mizuki who was also in the room, he's such cannon fonder I didn't think he was worth the thought.
"Ok Iruka."Mizuki said with his usual fake smile, but it looks so real, honestly if I didn't watch Naruto I would've never thought this guy was so bad.
"Ok Ryu, let's go."Iruka said before putting his hand on my shoulder and body flickering us to training ground 3, and I saw the Hokage with, Kakashi here surprisingly, seeing me he gave his usual eye smile.
"Hey Ryu, been a while."Kakashi said casually while reading Icha Icha.
"Yeah, How've you been? It's been a year or two."I asked him as a courtesy, but I was even surprised when I didn't see him all this time, but I guess with the attack and stuff he's been going out on a lot more missions.
"Fine, but I heard you gotta a girlfriend, since when were you a lady's man?"He asked me with a raised eyebrow.
"Anyone can if they aren't a pervert who read Icha Icha."I sai with a grin.
"Oi this is a sacred text the type a child couldn't begin to understand."
"And yet I'm the one with a girlfriend."I said smugly and he hung his head seeing as he can't argue with me.
"Ehem, if you're done, I'd like to begin the spar."Hiruzen faked a cough and said after getting our attention.
"Alright, it's been a while Ryu so I don't know how strong you are, but I've heard good things so I hope you don't disappoint."Kakashi said with amusement in his voice while putting his book away and taking a stance, copying his actions I take my own stance.
"And I hope you haven't gotten weak with age."I said back.
"Oi I'm still young."Kakashi responded defensively.
"Begin!"Hiruzen said interrupting our banter probably getting tired of it, but this marks the start of our battle!
'Finally a worthy opponent. Our battle will be legendary!'
