"My love" Ace called out as he returned to his room.
At this moment, Gracie was deeply asleep while Maeve had changed into normal clothes.
"Oh? You are back?" Maeve questioned in a low voice, it was a little funny seeing her acting like that even knowing that Gracie was covered with a sound inscription.
"I need your help" Ace replied as he took out the same black-colored snake-like artifact from his storage ring.
Seeing that Maeve narrowed her eyes as she questioned, "You actually used the Space Vortex? Are you really that mad?"
"I am" Ace answered as he infused some Mana inside the artifact and it shined. Suddenly, a huge man with a face like a lion appeared inside the room, though the man looked very strong and overbearing, right now, he was lying on the floor powerlessly but didn't forget to glare at Ace with murderous intent.
"I want to know about his family, but seeing the look on his face, it would take me about an hour to make him speak. Plus, after that, he would already be broken enough so I won't be able to inflict as much pain as possible" Ace started explaining, Valent, who heard him glanced at Maeve who was nodding in agreement, and he couldn't help but shiver.
How are these two talking like it is something normal?
How can this woman be so calm in this position!?
Your man is talking about killing someone you know!?
He had just tortured and killed more than around 40 people without blinking, how can you remain so calm!?

But of course, Valent didn't voice his thoughts out, instead, he smirked, "Do you really think this little lady can help you in opening my mouth? The only situation in which she can make me open my mouth is when I moan in pleasure while I have a tast-AAGGHHHH!!"
Before Ace could even react, Maeve stepped on Valent's feet and crushed it into dust. The pain was somehow 10 times more painful than when Ace crushed his knee.
Ace, on the other hand, face palmed himself as he shook his head.
'You really have balls of steel to say that in front of Maeve… but then again, you don't know her very well… if you did, I am pretty sure you won't open your mouth even if you were given a 1000 more guts'
"How dare you open your filthy mouth, your lowly dog. Don't push your luck, it is already a great fortune for you to be able to breathe the same air as this Empress. Just remain on the floor like a crawling insect you are!" Maeve declared coldly as she crushed the other feet.

"How dare you scream!? Don't you realize that my little girl is sleeping? What will you do if she wakes up?" Maeve raged as she kicked Valent's head before stuffing her shoes right into his mouth to shut him up.
"How were you able to control the urge to kill him? How about this? I take it up from here and in return, I'll let you hug me an hour?" Maeve offered as she turned towards Ace.
"Heh? Nope. You played with that Elizabeth girl on the beach, now it's my turn" Ace rejected.
"So mean…" Maeve pouted cutely.
Seeing her acting like that, Ace shook his head before hugging her from behind lovingly. It was a strange sight as Ace was hugging her lovingly while she had a cute pout on her face, and just below, her foot was stuffed into Valent's mouth fiercely, of course, she was wearing her shoes which she will never wear in the future from now on.
"Alright… you can have him… but know that you are cheating. These pouts were banned…" Ace gave in.
Hearing that, a charming smile appeared on Maeve's face. The smile alone could win any man's heart.
It was so enchanting…
So alluring…
So lovely…
"You are the best!" Maeve bloomed as she kissed Ace happily.
Seeing this sight, anyone would agree that she was looking like an angel that descended from heaven.
Anyone but Valent.
For him, Maeve looked like a demon from hell.
He was the one who heard the topic of the couple's conversation.
He could hear how these two were talking about torturing him.
They were talking about torturing him!
What do they mean by turns? How normal was all this for them?

"And since you are the best, I won't take your fun away from you, you can play with him but remember, return quickly," Maeve spoke as she removed her feet from Valent's mouth before she kissed Ace's cheeks softly and muttered.
"I'll miss you~"
"I'll miss you too, my love." Ace replied and turned around.
"Ah, wait, I completely forgot why I came here. I want you to tell me about his family and where they live" Ace turned towards Maeve again.
"Hmph! As I said before, I won't tell you shit! Do your worse!" Valent replied, having no intention to yield in front of this demonic couple.
"Oh, just that? Alright, I'll help you. I need a kis-"
Before Maeve could even complete, Ace sealed her luscious lips. The kiss turned wild as the tongues participated and the two only separated after a 5 minutes long kiss.
Again! How. The. Fuck. Did they turn it into a romantic scene!?
Valent, on the other hand, was furious but he didn't have any chance to say anything as what he witnessed shocked him to his core.
"So, you little insect, I will allow you the fortune to speak to me and introduce yourself. Tell me everything about your family and where do they live" Maeve questioned as she turned towards Valent.
'Heh! As if I will ever answer that! What a fool!' Valent mocked inwardly.
Maeve's crystal blue eyes shined with a silvery glow and…
