Chapter 2: Prologue - Superior Realms
The majestic and exquisite heavenly realm has several gigantic white palaces floating around the sky, shielded with golden gates, covered by mist, and guarded by the dragons. The immortals of the heavenly realm have inhabited this nirvana.
Jade Emperor is the ruler of the heavenly realm. He usually spent his time with Jade Empress, Matilda. She is the goddess of the sun. They always hang out in their courtyard, which has a huge waterfall, many peach trees and deers playing around.
They had seven daughters and a son, Lucas. The seven princesses of the jade emperor are the guardian of the rainbow. Meanwhile, Lucas is the prince of the cloud. He is the future jade emperor of the heavenly realm.
The heavenly realm has 1,000,000,000 troops known as the ultimate guards. They wear a white armoured uniform.
Jade emperor has a trustworthy personal assistant, Melvin, the highest-ranking official in the heavenly realm. Melvin walked toward the Jade emperor's study room and shook his head when he saw the manuscripts on the desk. "Every day, the impulsive jade emperor will leave a mountain of manuscripts piled up for me to follow up."
The fiery and dark hell realm has several enormous greyish stone palaces, guarded by the phoenix, surrounded by erupted volcanoes unleashing a billion gallons of lava. It looks like golden medallions glowed in the dark. The immortals of the hell realm have inhabited the netherworld.
Just like the heavenly realm, the hell realm has 1,000,000,000 troops known as the grim reapers. They wear a hooded black uniform.
The underworld lord is the ruler of the hell realm. He has a brother and a daughter. His precious daughter, Ariel, is the princess of the moon. His brother, Master Woon, is the goddess of the stars.
Master Woon is an expert inventor. He normally hides in the dungeon to work on his innovation. He produced many magical items and weapons.
Master Woon has a special ability to predict the future. Melvin from the heavenly realm can also predict the future. They both are good friends, in fact, Master Woon is closer to Melvin than his own brother, the underworld lord.
At the moment, he is working on a new weapon in his dungeon. While he tried to grab a tool, he noticed blood dribbling from the eyes of the dragon statue.
"Tears of blood from the dragon, this is an ominous sign." He said.
The tears of blood have made him curious. He tapped his fingers to get a prediction, but there's could not get an answer. He shook his head in grief. "What am I supposed to do now? If I can't find the answer… who else can find the answer?" He thought of Melvin. He grabbed his magical messenger bag and quickly travel to the heavenly realm to look for him.
The immortals from the heavenly realm, the ocean realm, and the hell realm have come into a compromise. They will work together to manage the mortal realm, the jungle realm, and the insect realm.
The heavenly realm will look after the mortal realm during the day, and they are in charge of the book of destiny. They control the mortal's birth, reincarnation, and decide their fate in the mortal world..
The hell realm will look after the mortal realm in the night, and they are in charge of the sentence for the human being after they died. They control the death of the human being. The grim reaper will claim their souls and keep them in the stars waiting for reincarnation.
The underworld lord is the best friend and best enemy of the jade emperor. Because of their very close relationship, they build an orbitarium. The orbitarium is on the border of the hell realm and the heavenly realm. The orbitarium is a massive, beautiful round glass building, decorated with contemporary looking furniture made of timbers. They often hang out in the orbitarium together to play chess, enjoying fruit wines, and taunting each other.
The jade emperor and the underworld lord are also a close friend to Poseidon, the ruler of the ocean realm. Because they can't breathe underwater for long, they do not visit him often.
The peaceful and sensational ocean realm has several enormous underwater palaces, guarded by the mermaids, surrounded by beautiful structures of corals and reefs. All immortals of the ocean realm have inhabited the giant submerged metropolis. Because of the huge population of fishes in the ocean realm, Poisedon does not involve much in the mortal realm. They only in charge of the wind and rains in the mortal realm. The ocean realm has 1,000,000 troops known as marine guards wearing fins!
Lucas and Ariel have yet ascended to the goddess ranking. An immortal needs to execute their trial in the mortal realm to get promotion in their ranking. To execute their trial, they will get a new assignment. Their soul will reborn into the mortal realm to try out the bitter life of a human being–no magic power, sorrow, hurt, poverty, etc. They will get a new identity in the mortal realm and their memories will be temporarily locked. When they died, their souls will return to the immortal realm and get promoted.
Apart from these immortals, they are four primary divines. Katrina is the divine of microorganism, Kenji is the divine of earth, Hera is the divine of water, and Maxim is the divine of fire. They are the longest living deities. The divines live in their portable palace. The divines do not intervene with the immortal or mortal. They are neither friends nor foes to anyone. Somehow, they trade for magical items with their divine technologies.
There is one vile creature, Solaris. She is the queen of spider and the ruler of all insects. Solaris lives in caves decorated with spiderweb. She has a strong desire to ascend as the next primary divine. To achieve her dream, she seduces men with lust. She tricks women into helping her by making them feel sympathy at her.
Solaris made several attempts to seduce Kenji, the divine of earth. He had refused to meet her and showed no interest in her. She finds him unique, and she fell in love with him.
Bruno is the centipede's king. He works for Solaris as a poison researcher and developer. Today, he breaks the news about Kenji's lover to her. "Solaris, I heard from the insects recently, Kenji had a woman. He is in love with mother nature, Asuna. Guess what? She is currently pregnant with his child!"
Bruno took two pieces of silkworm cotton wool from the desk and plugged them into his ears. He is not looking forward to the high pitch screaming from Solaris. He quickly left the cave.
It drives her crazy. She threw everything she could see in front of her and screamed on top of her lung. Something came into her mind. She does not have any mythical creature. The deities believed if there will be a mythical creature guarding their residence, it will boost their energy. She plotted to make Asuna's son as a goblin to be the guardian.
She instructed the insects to spread a fake rumour, to lure Asuna to visit the cave.
"In our cave, we have a magical crystal clear river. When a woman gives birth to a child in this crystal clear river, it will give their child an abundance of blessing."
Not long after, the rumour reached the ear of Asuna. She asked Rachel to accompany her to the cave. She wishes to give birth to her child there. Rachel obliged to her request. She arranged for the animals to join her. The animal instincts are powerful. They have never heard of the cave, and they felt uncanny about the cavern. The animals made a few attempts to discourage her notion. When they looked at her sunken face, they gradually escorted Asuna to the cavern by riding on the elephants. They travelled to the cave in a pack to accompany her on the day she was about to give birth to the child.
Solaris crested the hill, standing and watching them coming towards the cave. In her hand, she is holding two elixirs brewed by Bruno. She opened her mouth to spray strands of silk in one long continuous flow towards the cave's entrance. The threads fan out like a sail and drift on air currents blowing across the hill. Solaris quickly grabs the silk thread and crawls down towards the entrance.
They arrived at the labyrinth of caves, the home to a colony of strange insects. An alluring woman with a ghastly smile waited for them. Solaris bowed at the guests to give them respect. They greeted her back respectfully.
Luffa, Moa, and Rachel looked at Solaris. They figured her true-form, an immortal spider. In the early days of the jungle, the animals have reached a truce agreement, but Solaris subsequently rebelled and formed a new clan for the insects. For the past millenniums, the animals regarded the insects as pests.
