Chapter 2: Prologue

𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑
Petunia, Lily, and Rose were playing in the park when Lily showed Petunia and Rose what she could do. Lily picked up a dead daisy and started to make the petals open again. Petunia looked scared and slapped her hand and the daisy fell while Petunia said "Stop it Lily thats what freaks do". Lily looked upset and discouraged while Rose said that she can do that as well. For proof she picked up the fallen flower and let the petals start opening and closing. Petunia then slapped her hand and said " Freaks that's what both of you are stop it". Rise didn't care she merely stated "its not hurting you so why should I stop it"? Petunia huffed in anger at her two little sisters and said she was going home. Than out from the tree a boy came out and introduced himself as Severus Snape and that he was a wizard and Lily and Rose were both witches. They both took that as a insult and said that that was rude. Severus than explained the magical world to them and said that one day they would go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when they turned eleven. Over the next few years Severus, Lily, and Rose became best friends.
𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐘 31 1971
Mrs. Evans came into the sitting room and said " Lily! Rose! you both got mail". "Coming mum" was heard from her two youngest daughters. They were both surprised on who was writing them seeing as their only friend was Severus, but he didn't write to them seeing as he lived a couple blocks away.
The letter stated "To Ms. Evans Cokesworth England". In the inside it said " Dear Ms. Evans you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry inside you will find a supply list for your school supplies. We know you are muggle-born and someone will inform you about everything on August 5th at 3:oo in the afternoon. Your owl if you are planning on attending should be sent no later than August 31. Term begins on September 1.

Rose and Lily showed their letters to their parents and they were excited on having not one but two witches in their family and said they should ask this Proffeser McGonagall on the 5th of August questions on what muggle-born meant and about the school.
