Chapter 1: Chapter One: The Cabin In Alaska
Outside the cabin, the wind howled through the trees. While inside the old women's fire was nearly out. It was a very snowy and dark night so she couldn't get firewood until morning. When she went to bed the wolves were howling at the full moon. The next morning the old lady went to get firewood.
While she was on a search for firewood she saw little footprints in the snow and whoever it was didn't have shoes on. She thought "Why would someone not where shoes in the snow?" She continued to search for firewood when she saw a piece of thread flowing by a bush. She picked up the piece of thread and wondered if anyone was there. She thought no more and kept looking for firewood.
She got done looking for firewood and headed back to the cabin. When she walked back to her cabin she thought it felt a little odd. When she was getting ready to open the squeaky cabin door, she saw an icy handprint on the door. She got a little scared but opened the door anyway.
