Chapter 15: The Elemental Hashira: Alyx Leonidus (Movie Saga)
Alyx flew through a building before rebounding on the outside street, Karlaya's brother stood on the window sill that he flew out of.
"Blood Demon Art must have something to do with wind, eh? I can work with that!" Alyx called out.
"You smell like me, even my sister, Karlaya. Who exactly are you?" He wondered.
"If you stand down I'll tell you, this doesn't have to end in conflict. Who are you anyway?" Leonidus calmly replied.
"My name is Uriah, Upper Moon 2, now kindly answer my question." Uriah monotoned.
Leonidus nodded as he kept his grip on his katana, "Alright, fair enough, you're right about your thoughts. I am in fact a demon as well, but I can control it freely. You're the only two Upper Moons, correct? I can assume that your sister is Upper Moon 1 for a reason?"
"Yes, you'd be right. I haven't gotten the chance to fight in a while, if I may, I'll take this opportunity to stretch my wings." He confirmed.
Uriah lunged at Alyx, Alyx stood still as he darted towards him.
"Mizu no Kokyū... Jū Ichi no Kata... Nagi." Leonidus muttered.
The area around Leonidus turned into dead, calm waters. Uriah launched an assault of air strikes that looked as if they were being deflected by an unseen presence. Uriah hopped backwards with widened eyes as he was trying to figure out what he just did. Alyx placed his katana to his side and slid his right foot backwards across the pavement.
"Kaminari no Kokyū... Ichi no Kata... Hekireki Issen, Hachiren." Alyx thought.
Electricity sparked around Leonidus and his Nichirin Katana, he tore off down the street towards Uriah, he narrowly dodged Leonidus' attack. Alyx flew in a second time after rebounding off of a light pole, slicing off the front part of Uriah's chest as he darted by him. He proceeded to dart towards Uriah another eight times with impressive speed with his last strike he managed to cut off Uriah's left hand.
"What is this...? Is this what pain feels like? Interesting." Uriah mumbled.
Blood poured down his shredded chest and dripped from where his left hand used to be. Leonidus slid across the pavement as he took a breath in then exhaled out. Uriah launched a hellacious assault of sharp winds at Alyx. The winds sliced his face and cut through parts of his haori.
"Kaze no Kokyū... San no Kata... Seiran Fūju!" Alyx muttered.
Utilizing the surrounding winds, Leonidus unleashed a whirlwind of his own, the slashes surrounded his body and grew bigger due to the wind that Uriah created! The pavement and surrounding building were torn to shreds. Uriah halted the winds as he moved out of the way from Alyx's attack.
"He's quick, I gotta give him credit on that!" Leonidus thought.
Alyx's assault of winds stopped and he kicked it into another gear, chasing after Uriah, he took another breath in and then exhaled once more.
"Mizu no Kokyū... Juuni no Kata... Jetto Funshashiki Wōtāgaizā!" Leonidus shouted.
He held his Nichirin Katana close to him as he spun around, fierce waters began to surround him as he spun faster and faster. Uriah turned his head around to see what was coming towards him, as soon as he did, Leonidus barreled straight into him! He smashed Uriah through the street, leaving a sizable impression along with it. Uriah saw a slight opening in the water, allowing him to shoot off a paralyzing bone spike at Alyx that hit his left shoulder. Alyx went off course crashing through a nearby building's window!
Alyx emerged from the building with his left arm completely numb and rendered useless.
"Hmm... I guess I missed. Now you'll be easier to kill." Uriah sighed.
"Nice shot, you've got a keen eye. But just because I'm down one arm doesn't mean I'm easier to kill, we're just only getting started." Alyx remarked.
Leonidus rushed towards Uriah who put his guard up, winds circled around his arms and legs. The two clashed and began exchanging strikes, countering and blocking with quick succession. Alyx ducked a swipe from Uriah's lengthy wind claws, countering with a slash of his own to Uriah's face, blinding him. With one quick, watery slash, Leonidus cut down Uriah by chopping off his legs. Before Uriah could move, Leonidus quickly put his sword in front of his face which shocked him.
"You're good, but I can tell that you've never truly fought someone on my level before. This is the first time in a while that I've been hit majorly before when it comes to fighting demons. I'll give you one last chance, surrender and I won't kill you." Alyx complimented.
"Isn't... That your job? I attacked first... So why... Haven't you killed me?" Uriah croaked.
Leonidus placed his sword back in his sheath, "You've got a pure heart in that unfortunately devious form of yours. She isn't really your sister, just someone who associates you as her brother, someone who was dragged into this mess. She's truly the monster in this scenario. If I kill you, it wouldn't do me any good, neither would it satisfy me as a Demon Slayer. Let my kindness be a reminder that you can do good as a demon, but you have to control it instead of letting it consume you."
Uriah slowly began to heal his limbs and his sight back to full strength. Leonidus turned around and made his way towards Mabel but was sucked back in by a vortex of wind from Uriah. On instinct, Alyx turned around to face Uriah with his sword reeled back.
"Mizu no Kokyū... Roku no Kata... Nejire Uzu!" Alyx shouted.
Twisting both his upper and lower body, Leonidus created a whirlpool that was significantly enhanced by Uriah's vortex. One by one, Uriah was cut down until it reached his neck, Leonidus' sword cleanly cut straight through. The vortex of wind stopped violently as it burst out around the area. Alyx landed on the ground slightly panting as Uriah's body crumbled to the ground. He turned around to face the freshly decapitated Uriah with a small frown on his face.
"I don't regret a thing... Thank you... For giving me a good fight, Demon Slayer." Uriah smiled.
Alyx gave him a smile as he faded away into dust, he looked around and noticed that he was in the middle of a forest.
"W-What the? Wait... Did he just...?" Alyx questioned.
Alyx darted through the forest, unsure of where exactly he was, he felt Mabel's Heat Energy only to find nothing. Meanwhile, Mabel stood off against Karlaya in town.
"You haven't even attempted to make a move yet, what's wrong, are ya scared?" Karlaya laughed.
Mabel tightened her stance up as the grip on her katana did the same. She launched forward towards Karlaya with blinding speed.
"Honō no Kokyū... San no Kata... Kien Banjō!" Mabel thought.
She swung her blade downward in an arc like motion, creating a blanket of fire, Karlaya dodged the quick attack. Strands of her hair were set ablaze as she narrowly dodged her attack.
"Maybe I was wrong about you!" She grinned.
A huge gust of wind pushed Mabel backwards, causing her to hit the ground hard and roll across the harsh pavement. Karlaya continued her assault and hurled herself forward towards Mabel. She rebounded right before Karlaya got close to her and reeled her katana back.
"Honō no Kokyū... Go no kata... Enko!" She yelled.
She sent a flaming tiger towards Karlaya who clashed against it, it pushed her back as the ground beneath Karlaya's feet cracked. Karlaya managed to lift the tiger up and extinguish it with her wind. Mabel zoomed towards her and slashed rapidly at her, Karlaya effortlessly dodged her slashes all with a wild grin on her face. Karlaya shot out her paralyzing bone spikes, they grazed Mabel's face as she managed to avoid them.
"Sayonara! Lift Off!" Karlaya chuckled.
She slammed her palm into Mabel's stomach, wind shot up and scratched Mabel's right side of her face. In the blink of an eye, a white light appeared and sent Mabel flying backwards. She landed back first into a fire hydrant, knocking the wind out of her. Karlaya strolled over to Mabel as she struggled to stand up to her feet.
"Bah! Just as I thought, you really do suck!" She ridiculed.
Karlaya sent a hard kick to Mabel's jaw which sent her bouncing off the pavement. She couldn't help but laugh at Mabel.
"This is pathetic! Pathetic, pathetic! I bet that Father of yours would've been a much better challenge! But I'm sure my brother took care of him already." She scowled.
Mabel slowly stumbled up to her feet, propping herself up with her katana. Blood dripped down her face as she kept her right eye shut.
"I'm pathetic...? You've killed innocent people... Harming those that are weaker than you... That's fucking pathetic you goddamn parasite." Mabel retorted.
"What the fuck was that?!" Karlaya roared.
She charged forward with wind surrounding her hands, creating elongated claws as weapons, Karlaya charged towards Mabel while yelling angrily.
"Hana no Kokyū... Ni no Kata... Mikage Ume." Mabel muttered.
As Karlaya swiped violently at Mabel, her attacks were deflected with ease, causing Karlaya to quicken her pace. As she did, Mabel responded in kind, eventually deflecting one of Karlaya's hands and sending it straight towards her face. She reeled her head backwards and screamed out in agony as Mabel smirked.
"YOU GODDAMN BITCH! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU!!" Karlaya shrieked.

"What purpose do you even serve besides killing? That's what's really pathetic here. You can sit there on your high horse and ridicule me but at the end of the day, you mean absolutely nothing to this world, neither will you ever have meaning. My pride as a Leonidus will see to it that your name is wiped from history forever." Mabel retaliated.
She grabbed her katana by the blade and slammed the hilt end right into Karlaya's jaw, causing an ungodly sounding "CRACK!" as she did. Karlaya stumbled backwards, attempting to regain her bearings, but Mabel kept up the assault. Mabel repeatedly struck Karlaya with the hilt end of her katana, a blank look was kept on her face the entire time. Mabel stabbed Karlaya in the stomach several times before casting her aside.
"It's things like you that I despise the most, I couldn't give two shits less about your past or if you were a good person back then either. You hurt innocent people, that gives me more than enough reason to kill you, you pile of trash. Thing like you... They need to be forgotten, lost in time, never to be heard of again. Why were you even born if this was going to be your fate? What's truly pathetic..." Mabel scowled.
She leaned down towards Karlaya's ear, "...Is the fact that you carried out your fate as is instead of changing direction, you sad, useless fool. Becoming a demon and going about life like you are now is pretty pathetic. Pathetic... Pa... The... Tic..."
Karlaya sent a furious, hellacious amount of wind that pushed Mabel back away from her.
"You... FUCK... YOU!!" She screeched.

Mabel's Nichirin Katana ignited with flames as the two charged towards one another, striking faster than the eye could see! Karlaya raised her right arm up, Mabel's eye caught an opening, her flames burned even brighter than before. A white line appeared on her eye.
"Shi no Kata... Sei En no Uneri!" Mabel thought.
Mabel swung her blade circularly and cut off Karlaya's entire right forearm.The wall of flames incinerated her forearm before she had the chance to attack with it. Karlaya let off a wind blast that extinguished the fire wall, but she was met with a hard headbutt to the nose from Mabel. Karlaya planted both of her hands on the ground and unleashed an uproar of wind that brought up the pavement around her. The debris began to be flung straight at Mabel, she ducked and dodged, hopped and sliced her way through each one.
"Hana no Kokyū... Roku no Kata... Uzumomo." Mabel muttered.
After dodging the last piece of debris, Mabel used her body weight to slam her katana into Karlaya, it sliced through her left forearm and cut deep into her torso. Rapidly regenerating and using her left hand, an orb of white light appeared, she shot it out towards Mabel. It split as Mabel tried to block it with her katana, the two orbs crashed into her and sent her into the air. Karlaya kept her left arm up before dropping it down, the orbs that carried Mabel shifted downward, slamming her into the street below. Karlaya's entire left hand filled with paralyzing bone spikes that she shot at Mabel.
On instinct, Mabel used her Overdrive to create a shield as the fast moving bone spikes ricocheted off of it. One of Karlaya's own spikes managed to come back and stab her in the eye. She quickly pulled the spike out and noticed that Mabel had disappeared.
"How... Who in the fuck do you think you are?!" Karlaya thundered.
"Someone as weak as me shouldn't be able to do this, right? I know I'm going to hear that quite a bit in the future, you being the first to tell me that, it doesn't surprise me one bit. What does surprise me is the fact that you've called yourself an 'Upper Moon', I'm not sure what that means, but surely you'd have to be at a high level in order to be called that. Yet here you are, getting nearly massacred by a beginning Demon Slayer." Mabel's voice echoed.
Mabel appeared directly behind Karlaya, "And you've gotten tripped up by them, how unfortunate."
Karlaya turned her head around and saw Mabel ready to strike with her Katana of flames. Karlaya smirked which caused Mabel to look confused at her sudden arrogance.
"Lift Off: Nail Series." She smiled.
Four nails pierced Mabel's torso and sent her tumbling to the ground. Mabel shakily stood back up as blood dripped down her clothes.
"You know... You're a real pain in my ass." Karlaya panted.
"Y-Yeah... You are... As well... Asshole..." Mabel replied.
They looked to the side as the sun began to come up, just as Mabel looked back towards Karlaya, she sent a huge gust of wind that barreled into her face. She skated across the concrete as the attack blew her backwards several feet. Karlaya took the opportunity to regenerate the wounds she sustained from Mabel's attacks.
"Huh, looks like you won't be winning anytime soon! Now that I'm back at full strength, I'll be able to kill you before the sun comes up!" She chuckled.
Mabel closed her eyes and took a shaky breath in before exhaling.

"You said you wanted to know who I was, right?" Mabel called out.
Karlaya lowered both of her eyebrows, "As if I care, but do tell me, it's the least you can do before I kill you!"
"Set your heart ablaze, Mabel Leonidus! Remember these words!" Rengoku's words echoed in her mind.
Mabel lowered her sword to her side and relaxed her breathing. The winds around the two combatants began to pick up. The blood from Mabel's wounds stopped bleeding, which caused Karlaya to look surprised.
"You might be the last person to hold One For All... Mabel Leonidus." She remembered Deku's words.
Violet sparks danced around Mabel's body as the pebbles and rocks surrounding her began to lift upwards. Her katana shined from the glow of the ever approaching sunlight. Karlaya looked behind her and noticed in the distance that Alyx was quickly approaching her after finding his way out of Uriah's Blood Demon Art.
"You... You're just stalling!" She shouted.
Mabel didn't say a single word, her eyes were still closed, Karlaya frustratingly launched an assault of wind blasts towards Mabel. They were extinguished easily by the pressure Mabel was putting out. Karlaya began to slightly tremble as she realized that there was nothing she could do to hurt Mabel. Finally, Mabel's eyes shot open, revealing them to now be glowing a violet color. She firmly gripped her sword and held it to her side as she stared Karlaya down. Her Overdrive, One For All, and a bright flame aura burst out around her!
"I'm the Flame Hashira's disciple... Mabel Leonidus! I'll bank my pride as a Leonidus on defeating you, no matter what I have to do! If I'm gonna live up to my master's training, if I'm going to live up to the promises I've made, I HAVE TO! Honō no Kokyū... Ku no Kata... RENGOKU!!" Mabel roared.
A dragon comprised of Overdrive, One For All, and Flame Breathing tore off towards Karlaya, forming around Mabel as she flew towards her. It roared fiercely as it indented into the ground, creating a hellish firestorm behind it! Karlaya put her hands out but the force from Mabel's attack was too great, it rammed into Karlaya, pushing her into the ground. Alyx reeled his sword back as flames appeared, flaring out from the scar on his left eye.
"Hinokami Kagura! Nichiun no Ryū Kaburimai!" He yelled.
A crimson, fiery dragon wrapped itself around Alyx as well and he careened right into Karlaya's back. The two dragons combined and took off into the sky, creating a giant pillar of flames, One For All, and Overdrive. Karlaya's eyes widened with fear as she saw Alyx and Mabel side by side. Their eyes were filled with their Overdrive as they reeled their katanas back for one last strike.
"Good riddance, Karlaya!" They both thought.
The two brought their blades to Karlaya's neck until they clanged together, causing the pillar to erupt outwards, spreading the flames and combined energy across the sky. The sun began to rise and shine down on Las Vegas, the freezing air that surrounded the city dissipated.
