Chapter 20: USJ Attack (2)
The portal opened up and out of it, dozens of men and women, all dressed differently and with a wide variety of looks came out.
Some curiously scanned the area. Others scowled at us. Their appearances ranged from being overtly dangerous to being humorous and in the middle of them all. I could see a scrawny man wearing a purple shirt, purple jeans, and red sneakers.
He also had a bunch of severed hands. One on his face, two on his forearms and biceps, and one on his head.
Wow. Just seeing that in person was bizarre. I mean aren't body parts supposed to decay? Isn't this highly unsanitary, like how does this guy eat? Or shower for that matter? Does he leave them on?
Next to him was...well I don't think words can adequately describe this thing...
The Nomu.
Wide with muscle underneath dark leather-like skin. A face shaped like a bird's, with jagged teeth, a pair of eyes set into an exposed brain, staring out at nothing. It's one thing to read about them in that research I stole from that doctor guy, or what I saw in the anime but a whole other thing to see it in real life.
It almost seemed kind of surreal, like I was having a fever dream or something, then again that might be because my brain is currently made of goo at the moment.
For some reason whenever I used the sludge quirk, things got really trippy whenever I went full sludge and I would really have a hard time concentrating on things.
To be honest the fact I could even think or do anything while in this form should be physically impossible. So, I didn't have anything to complain about.
"What's that?" Kirishima asked, stepping forward with a hand over his eyes to stare at the bad guys coming towards us.
"Is this like the Entrance Exam where the lesson's already started?"
Aizawa yelled out something, but I wasn't listening. Instead, I was snapping my eyes around; waiting for the shadow mist guy to appear before the students and block the main entrance.
After the army of villains appeared, I could see the misty guy appear before the students blocking their way to the main entrance.
I could see him saying something, but I couldn't hear it from where I was hiding in the bushes. All I had to do now was wait and then start moving towards my target and hope things go according to plan.
(Himiko POV)
Today is just a great day! Himiko couldn't help herself. All she could feel was giddiness, Shinso had finally let her drink his yummy blood and they were finally getting started on that plan of his he kept silent on till today.
She briefly wondered how Shinso knew how an attack like this was coming, but quickly concluded it was just part of what made Shinso-kun so amazing!
He just knew things and was really smart and always made sure to be careful with everything he ever did or said.
It's the reason why he figured out how to gain multiple quirks which was unheard of as far as she knew.
He had told her once that he had gotten the method of how to do so from a dangerous guys using his quirk. And, she could tell that whoever that person is, he must be terrifying judging by how severe Shinso's tone got whenever he mentioned him.
She made sure to stick close that kid with the head that looked like a green broccoli. Since, it would mean she would be in position when the right time came.
Shinso said she had to keep him occupied and delay him from coming into contact with the handsy guy as long as she could, and that it was better to keep him away until everything was over.

Things ended up just like in Canon and I could see Kurogiri teleport the students after their failed attack to different parts of the facility. Deku was teleported alongside Asui as well as Himiko who was disguised as me. Now I didn't have to worry about Deku possibly interferring and screwing everything up.
I got to admit though Kurogiri's ability to teleport like that was really useful and incredibly rare. It was a really hard quirk to counter, especially if it's user was determined to escape.
That was fine.
To be honest, it's what I wanted.
To avoid any complications in the future I need to keep them away until then. If things don't go well with this plan, I'll just try another route.
So, without dallying I put my head in the game and stealthily starting moving towards my target.
Once I reached my goal, I quickly threw myself against the wall next to it, trying not to make any sudden movements to give me away. Its head snapped towards me, its bulging eyes were dim and unintelligent.
It tilted its head curiosily like a real bird would, but not receiving any orders from its master it just stood there unmoving.
Thankfully Tomura and the misty guy were distracted by Aizawa's performance and weren't paying attention to the Nomu standing behind them waiting for its orders.
Knowing I didn't have a lot of time I started moving, since Tomura was bound to get bored and use the new toy his father figure gifted him to play with.
Slowly but surely I started crawling in my sludge form towards its leg. It jolted but thankfully didn't react further.
'I don't like this next part but I don't have a choice.'
My body quickly surrounded the Nomu and I started looking for an entry point to get inside its body. Luckily its brain was exposed, so I extended a tendril made of sludge into its brain and while it took a bit of tinkering and fumbling about I eventually found its motor functions. I only had to think about it and the Nomu reacted right away to the command I had given to its brain.
'Open your mouth'
It opened its mouth wide open so I quickly took this chance and dove right in moving most of my body mass inside the Nomu.
All I needed now was some time to take over its body. Trying to absorb its quirks would take too long, and would almost certainly get me noticed and killed. Plus, because I could only absorb one quirk at a time, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to choose which quirk I wanted or if I'd even be able to steal a quirk with the Nomu's body already having multiple quirks.
Fortunately, my new sludge quirk came in handy and opened up a previously unexplored path for me. Since it could take over bodies, what better body to take over than an unkillable meat suit powerful enough to take on All Might himself? This way, I didn't have to choose between quirks and put my life at risk.
While this was going on, Aizawa was fighting for god knows how long against dozens upon dozens of villains, while that man-child with severed hands all over his body screamed in frustration.
If you'd asked him how he felt about having to fight multiple opponents at once during school hours, he'd probably just laughed it off, but right now he was anything but confident. He couldn't use his quirk that often because of his exhaustion and the fact that he had to stay vigilant of that guy's 'Decay' quirk and use it at a moment's notice.
But that didn't bother him. He could avoid using his quirk against these low-level villains and instead focus on getting through this fight as best he could.
As the battle progressed, he was briefly distracted by a villain who had an invisibility quirk and caught him off guard; he quickly dodged at the last moment and kicked him hard enough for the villain to lose focus and become visible again. Unfortunately, that was enough for him to lose sight of Tomura, who quickly took advantage and dashed towards him. Tomura suddenly grabbed Aizawa's elbow and hissed, "Don't go overboard, Eraser-head. You're ruining the game."
Eraser head's eyes glowed bright red and with that Tomura jumped back before Eraser-Head could bind him with his capture weapon.
"Tsk. What a troublesome quirk. But, I can see it. Your eyes are getting tired and the duration between each time you activate it is getting less and less. Your body is also slowing down."
Observing Eraser-Head Tomura started scratching his neck." Your quirk isn't suitable for group battles is it? You are just trying to act cool and give enough time for the little brats to runaway. What a great hero you are. "
Tomura sneered," By the way great hero, I would like to introduce you to someone..."
"Nomu go get him."
Suddenly a black muscular hand appeared above Aizawa's head. He could barely react, but he managed to activate his quirk in time.
That didn't seem to matter though as his face was planted into the ground hard enough to crack the floor, his face was smushed into the concrete hard enough he thought he saw white light.
His vision became blurry and he blinked rapidly as he struggled in vain. Once he felt the pain in his head lessen he raised his head slowly to look at the source of the hand.
On top of the large hand there was this huge creature standing. It had big eyes filled with madness, it had a gigantic beak filled with sharp teeth that were dripping with saliva. There was no hair but instead it was covered in dark leathery skin.
The thing looked like a monster from straight out of a horror movie.
But what caught Aizawa's eye was the creature's head. It's brain was exposed and was sticking out of its skull. As soon as he noticed this, Tomura turned his head to face him with a smug grin on his face.
" Isn't he magnificent? A genetically engineered creature with multiple quirks. A killing machine designed to kill the symbol of peace himself. You see Aizawa, it doesn't matter if you disable my Nomu's quirks. He's still strong enough to pop your head like a grape. " Tomura said with amusement.
"This world doesn't revolve around you heroes. And, it will soon understand this fact when it finally loses its symbol of peace. But, before that why don't we start with you."
Before Aizawa could say anything, the creature lifted his whole body up still holding his skull in its palm. His right arm was still useless from getting his elbow partially disintegrated by Tomura's quirk 'Decay'.
He was completely helpless unable to move a muscle. The creature then started squeezing his head. He screamed in agony as his entire skull started to creak, causing him to bleed everywhere. Tomura watched gleefully from the side as the scene played out before his very own eyes.
But, the pressure suddenly stopped and he was summarily dropped to the ground with a thud. His head hung limply, making his breathing more ragged than before.
" What! Why did you stop?! Finish him." Tomura screeched.
The creature seemed to briefly shake its head as if confused but suddenly roared before moving forward ready to finish off Aizawa once again. The beast headed back towards it prey. However, before it could even grab hold of him, a huge explosion ripped through the USJ front door and sent debris flying all around.
"Huh?"
It was a moment later when a giant figure appeared in front of the Nomu blasting it away, sending it crashing into several buildings.
Following that, a series of air explosions sounded, sending dust flying and rubble covering everything in sight, and all the villains except Tomura and Kurogiri were quickly taken down and knocked out.
After the dust cleared, a figure was revealed. Aizawa was panting heavily and his chest rose and fell heavily, his body was shaking slightly from exhaustion and pain.
All Might was carrying him between his arms and most importantly All Might wasn't sporting his signature smile.
Instead he was frowning heavily and seemed quiet angry. In a solemn but deep voice he declared.
"Have no fear everyone for I am finally here."
