Chapter 1: Chapter 1
In the Capital of the Arcane Dynasty, inside an enormous and luxurious palace that held ten Main Halls and hundreds of Palace Gardens, in the bedroom of one of the most beautiful Palace Gardens, the Asura Palace, two beautiful and slender figures were attending to an extremely handsome young man.
The young man's facial features looked like they were personally sculpted to perfection by the Ancient Gods which made him look almost otherworldly. The bright sun rays gleamed through the large window of the luxurious bedroom and shone dazzlingly on his pale skin, the gorgeous beauties attending to him were captivated as they rubbed his fit and toned naked body clean and prepared his garments.
The young man's handsome face looked indifferent to their touches, he was most likely used to getting touched by beautiful women that most men couldn't even think about encountering, but he treated them as mere maids, not paying attention to them as if he was distracted by something more important.
His jet black hair laid restlessly upon his face just above his sword-like eyebrows in a messy way, it looked like he just woke up, yet it gave him an even more indescribable charm that one could only think of as Celestial.
His eyes casually looked in front of him, they were dark and deep like the vast abyss and seemed to carry a galaxy within them, the only thing that brought one out from getting lost in their gaze was the dashing golden and red ring around his pupils, that stunning color resembled the divine color of ichor which was the fluid that flowed through the veins of the gods.
The two beautiful maids intricately donned on a royal golden-red imperial robe on his body which was also the colors of the Ximen Family, slightly blushing as their dainty fair hands brushed against his tall figure and abs that had barely an ounce of fat on them. His fairly muscled chest and body rippled with immense strength and an aura of a powerful physique that could only be forged through a royal bloodline and many years of strenuous training.
Once the imperial robes were on, the young man walked through the luxurious bedroom toward the entrance with an indifferent expression still on his handsome face, the wide and tall gates enclosing the bedroom opened by themselves as two figures, one small and one big could be seen waiting outside.
"Kai!"
The small figure was an adorable 10-year-old girl, she looked as elegant and dainty as a porcelain doll as she ran up to the handsome young man inside the room whom she called Kai, she jumped in his arms, giggling happily as she hugged him.
Kai looked down at his little sister who was wearing an elegant little dress, her long and wavy golden hair cascaded down her shoulders like a beautiful waterfall, her skin soft and white like snow accompanied by her adorable little figure made anyone who saw her want to instantly protect her, and her most defining feature that made one almost want to bow down in prostration once they stared into them were a pair of beautiful starry golden eyes that looked like they belonged to a Goddess of War.
Kai smiled a rare smile that would smite any young maiden as he picked his little sister up in his arms, holding her close in a cradle.
"Ah...Celeste, you are always so energetic in the mornings."
Kai teasingly said, no longer having that detached and aloof look on his face as he stared down at his little sister. His voice was charming like his disposition, but it couldn't hide the fact that the voice came from an extremely young man, around fifteen or sixteen years old.
"Big Brother! Big Brother! I have something to show you!"
Celeste, the little beauty announced with her cute and childish voice, she was so excited to show her big brother her new ability that she was bobbing up and down in his arms as her tiny fist clutched the chest of his imperial robe.
"Hahaha, alright calm down, come on and show me then." Kai gently laughed, he set down his little sister and awaited for whatever new antics she had for him this time.
Celeste, once she was set down she stopped her giggling, an extremely serious expression formed on her angelic face, making her small and delicate figure look even more adorable.
One who thought her appearance was cute would quickly change their mind once they felt her aura, her aura that was once elegant and dainty like a blossoming flower started ever-increasing in might, the air around the palace bedroom started swirling in a cyclone and the ambient spiritual energy in the atmosphere all converged toward the little Celeste like she was preparing a powerful attack.
The other figure that was waiting outside of Kai's room now came into view, it was a middle-aged butler, he wore a black suit and had a look of helplessness on his face as he stood across from Celeste.
Celeste's golden eyes shone with sacred light, her body glowed with an intense and beautiful golden sheen, Celeste's aura was capable of putting cracks in the palace floor as the golden glow gathered toward her palm in the outline of a majestic spear, Celeste looked at the butler in front of her and held out her tiny palm towards him and yelled
"Take this!' her adorable but fierce voice rang out.
As she held her tiny hand out 10 golden circles filled with runes appeared out of nowhere, even stranger was there seemed to be the outline of that illusionary spear peeking out of every one of the circles, a low rumble of power flowed and the Asura Palace Garden slightly trembled at the pure power hidden inside the golden circles, the golden circles seemed to have their attack finally prepared as the runes around the circles shone and the golden spears condensed into actual physical entities that came out of the golden circles one by one and started bombarding the butler endlessly.
"BOOOOOOM. BOOOOOOM. BOOOOOM. BOOOOOOOM."
A loud and large multitude of explosions sounded out, cracks and rubble appeared on the ground of the imperial palace as it shook, which was shocking as the ground was forged with high-quality materials that even a King would find hard to damage.
As the dust of the broken floor settled, Bertrum, the butler, was left in a sorry state. He had blood leaking from his mouth and dark patches of the explosion of power all over him, he could have easily blocked the strength of Celeste but chose to take the brunt of the attack instead, not activating any power to defend against the young miss to keep her confidence high, he has actually been taking this attack from Celeste a countless number of times as she was practicing with all her heart to show Kai, she even managed to form 10 golden circles this time instead of the 1 circle she started with.
Bertrum popped a pill in his mouth and recovered quickly, overall proud of how much Celeste increased in strength.
"Hehe!" Celeste retracted her powerful aura and returned to her adorable and lovely self as she started giggling, her small body hopped up and down with glee.
Celeste looked up toward her big brother with her large and beautiful golden eyes with a big smile on her face, obviously wanting his admiration and approval.
Kai was a little shocked at how fast Celeste has been ascending in strength, she has managed to reach Martial Transformation at a mere 10 years old and almost had the strength of a normal Martial King which was a multiple realm difference, she was advancing in cultivation speed even faster than him when he was at her age and it seemed Celeste's Ancient Godly bloodline gave her glimpses into the mysteries of the divine element of light. Her attack would have been able to kill a normal Martial King (one without an Ancient Godly bloodline), but the casting time took a bit too long and she seemed to have used a lot of her internal energy in the process, but it was still amazing for someone as young as her to have that amount of pure unadulterated power.
Kai smiled and rubbed the top of Celeste's head making her close her eyes and hum blissfully like she was soaring through the nine heavens, her brother Kai has been the most dependable person in their family since the incident, their mother has been too busy taking over their Father's affairs with the clan and family and their older sister was barely ever home.
Kai was usually busy training so the time she spent with him was her favorite moments of her entire life...
Celeste pouted when Kai stopped caressing her head like a soft kitten, glaring up at him with her beautiful golden eyes, urging him to continue.
Kai could feel her glare and stared down at her again and smiled, she was truly too cute.
Kai bent both of his knees so he could be face to face with Celeste, a warm feeling in his heart surged as he realized how he and Celeste have been the only ones truly caring for each other ever since their grandfather, father, and oldest brother's disappearance, he knew that Celeste depended on him greatly like he was her lifeline, she always found excuses to hang out with him or even be near him like she was doing now.
Celeste used to follow him around everywhere like an obedient cute little puppy, but ever since the elder of one of the five Holy Lands took her as her disciple she has been busy cultivating and they saw each other less and less, Kai also really needed to get going and do his daily cultivation so he thought for a little before saying.
"Celeste, how about after I'm done with my training we will go out to eat at the Great Jade Pavilion?"
Celeste's golden eyes shined even brighter once she heard her big brother's words, her glare turned happy as if she was placated by his decision.
"Alright, I'll be going now, make sure to listen to your Master and cultivate properly," Kai said as he rubbed her head one more time.
"Mn Mn" Celeste obediently nodded her adorable little head, she was especially determined to follow Kai and has been cultivating wholeheartedly with every chance she could get.
