Chapter 3: Desave Underground: Three

Three,

After an hour of their trip to Kaelcna, they finally arrived in the police headquarters. She woke Christian up, with a teasing smile plastered on her lips. "Wake up, the nightmare's here." she teased. "Fuck you! You'll fucking rot in hell, you povitre idyotios!" he exclaimed as Jasper was dragging him inside the headquarters. Shaina called her string from the said HQ. "He's being dragged inside. You take care of him, we'll be going." Shaina dropped the call as soon as she heard a hum. She waited for Jasper to comeback, leaning on his car, and eventually, making her way to the shot gun seat. She doesn't want to, but she's tired as fuck. Not to mention that, the car was a manual. Thus, it drained her energy. Given that she was also tired from all the shooting spree that happened earlier.

"You good?" Jasper asked when he get into his car. Shaina shook her head in response, "Yeah no, I'm drained." she replied. Jasper could only chuckle before replying, "It's better if we'll check-in to the nearest hotel. It would be more tiring if we drove back to Albane. And dont't worry, I know one. " Jasper suggested. "I don't have extra clothes with me." it was her extra clothes, that concerns Shaina the most. Jasper laughed a bit. "You're lucky. I bought couple of shirts with me. I also have one that I haven't used before. I'll lend you that." he replied. Shaina could only nod before she was knocked out.

"The Alpha Suit is the nearest hotel." Jasper whispered, talking with himself. Taking note the hotels' landmark."

Upon parking his car on the parking lot, she looked at Shaina who was deep asleep. As much as he doesn't want to wake her up, he also doesn't want to touch her without permission. "Shain, hey, wake up. We're here." he softly wake her up. And luckily, she doesn't sleep like an oil. "We're here?" she asked, Jasper nodded in reponse before they go out of their car, get their necessities, and go inside the reception.

Jasper was the one who had to interact with the receptionist, since Shaina is still on her dreamland- and was staring into thin air. "Sorry, Sir. But we only have one bedroom left. The units we have was mostly occupied by a univesity." The lady receptionist politely said. "It's fine, as long as there are 2 beds, we're good to go." Jasper said, now holding Shaina because the young lady had wobbling knees-showing that she's dead sleepy.

"Uh about that, Sir...Alpha suit is booked to its highest capacity and accomodation for two or more beds. As of now, we only have a room with a single double size bed only---" Shaina who cannot handle her wobbling knees and sleepy eyes anymore, get in between the two. "Ah, fine! We'll get it! If it isn't obvious, see this face?" Shaina asked and pointed her face. "I'm beaten!" She added.

The receptionist process their booking right away.

"This is your card, Ma'am, Sir. Enjoy your night!" The receptionist greeted them. "Thank you too. I'm the one who's sorry for my friend. She was just tired." The receptionist just smile and nodded, accepting Jaspers' apology. Jasper shook his head and accompany Shaina as they walk.

Jasper gently lay Shaina down on the bed, a bit afraid of accidientally waking Shaina up. The bare touch made his nerve tingle down his spine. He shooked his head, trying to shrug the thoughts and feelings off.

He took a half bath, trying to calm his nerves, and wore a short and a simple sando. Since Shaina is dead asleep on the bed, he called for an extra comforter, so he could sleep on the couch. It was nothing, really. A simple sign of respect, especially, Shaina's a lady. Before he can even close his eyes, he heard a small snores, making him smile. Finding Shaina adorable even with the most little things that she does... even with the unconcious ones.

TOMORROW MORNING, Jasper was awoken with the aromatic smell of hot coffee. Since the room was small, it was easy for Shaina to see him move. "Hey, you're finally awake. I am not sure if you eat heavy meal during breakfast so, I ordered both heavy and light meal. Feel free to choose." Shaina greeted, sipping her coffee. "Good morning to you too. And yes, I eat heavy breakfast. Thank you, Shaina." Jasper replied, sitting on the chair. Taking a good breath, smelling the appetizing food in front of him. Shaina sat on the sit accross him. They were silent as they eat, the silence was so loud that the thing you can only hear was their utensils making sounds, the air-conditioners' woosh, and the wall clocks' tick-tocks.

"Let's get dress up after this. We only have an hour left." Jasper broke the deafening silence. Shaina just nodded, continuing to munch her food.
