Chapter 4: Chapter 4: (Meeting some of the crew...)

I had no words for what I was seeing before me. Blood and gore decorated the hallway I was standing in. I could see various bodies here and there some with dismembered limbs, or ripped open stomachs. I frowned slightly at the gruesome scene before hearing something move to my right. I peered over to see a short female student wobbling toward me. Her skin was a dark grey with white lifeless eyes her teeth snapped together as she reached out toward me with bloody fingers. I sighed before tearing my fist back and slamming it into the poor girl's skull. I felt no resistance as my fist broke through her skull causing it to explode in a shower of brain matter with skull fragments.
The force of my punch caused her to fly back striking a few chairs before laying still. I gazed down at my hand to see it coated in her blood. [Are you okay?] I sighed again as I heard Teresa's concerned voice within my head. I smiled and gazed away from my hand, "Yes I'm fine." I heard a low moan and looked down the hallway to see two more zombie students shambling to me. I dashed forward my speeds considered "inhuman" I stuck my arm out, and with insane speeds, my forearm struck the zombie in the face. The zombie's head explodes in a burst of gore, but I ignored it and swung my leg at a low kick toward the next zombie. There was a loud crack followed by the zombie's leg bending at an odd angle. I grabbed its outstretched hand and slammed my knee into its neck. This caused the zombie to slam against the wall its neck giving off a loud snap.

I nodded and continued down the hallway stopping to kill any zombies that moved into my path. I finally stopped in front of a door and read the sign above, (Nurses Office) hearing the sounds of movement within I dashed forward slamming the door to the side. Inside I could see a student with glasses slamming a metal pole down onto the head of a 'dead' student. I ignored him and turned my gaze toward the woman who was peering at me curiously.
"Who are you?" I was about to reply before I heard the sound of glass shattering followed by screaming. I swung my vision towards the boy to see him staring at me with terror in his eyes. An undead student brought its bloody down onto the boy's neck blood erupting into the air. I dashed forward and smashed my fist into the zombie's head, with a loud crunch, the zombie's head exploded in a mist of blood with bits of brain coating my shirt.
[Ew!] I smiled wryly at Teresa's words before gazing down at the boy who was already turning pale. With his hand holding onto his neck, blood seeping between his fingers, he gazed up at me and smiled weakly. "Hey..." He coughed blood coating his lips, "....can you...make sure I don't turn?" I could see the fear within the boy's eyes, but I also saw an acceptance that he knew that he was going to die. The sounds of bones breaking sounded behind me, but I already knew who it was and instead answered the boy who was peering up at me.
"I promise." Kneeling down I gently wrapped my arm around the boy's head and could feel him start to shake within my grasp. I whispered into his ear, "I'm sorry." Then with a quick jerk of my arm, I could feel the boy's neck snap within my embrace. I took a deep shaky breath and tried my best to gaze away at the boy I just killed. [It was for the best.] I smiled at Teresa's words and replied, (I know it still sucks though.) Shaking my head I stood up and gazed back behind me to see a beautiful girl wielding a wooden sword, but what caught my attention was her glossy lips turned up into a smile.
