Chapter 4: Chapter 4 : 4th Stance
Staring at the old man, Takeo's heart began to run rampant. 'Finally, a good fight!', he thought, before charging at the man with a smile.
VOOSH!
Running at him in a straight line with great speed, Takeo surprised the old man, "Hoo, you're quick~", the old man stated, 'But running at a straight towards me...you're still to young', he thought before Takeo appeared directly in-front of him.
Wielding his dagger, Takeo swung his blade, aiming towards the old man's head with great speed, however, the old man was one step ahead blocking him with the branch he picked up from the floor. 'Still to wea-', the old man thought, but then he noticed that the Takeo in-front of him was nothing more than an after-image.
VOOSH!
On the old man's left, appeared a little boy, with a frightening wide grin with sharp eyes, not fitting his baby-like face. With the blade in his left hand, he thrusted it into the old man's liver..
SWOOSH!!
But it was blocked by the old man's branch once again, this time however, Taeko actually moved the old man from his previous position, even though it was by a few centimetres, which ultimately surprised the old man even more.
Whilst he was shocked by Takeo's feat, Takeo's assault was far from over, as he jumped into the air, before he raised his left leg, bashing it into the old man's rib-cage with a front kick, carrying all of his power...
BANG!!!
The connection created a loud noise and even created the air to condense around them, making a cloud of smoke. But Takeo still wasn't done, he was having the time of his life...a wide grin spanned across his whole face, which was eerily creepy. He had no intention of going easy on the old man.
Still in mid-air, he gript his dagger tight, spinning his torso, and extending his elbow, almost dislocating his arm before whipped his blade around and slashed at the man...
SWOOSHH!!!
The attack connected directly on the old man but something was weird...it was like hitting a wall, the attack hit the old man, but it didn't hurt or go through him....
When the dust settled, the old man and Takeo's eyes met each-other....the old man had an emotionless face for a few seconds, before a small grin formed on his face.
It was if time stopped, both of them had smiles on their faces. It took a few seconds for Takeo to get a grip, and by the time he did...the old man had slashed at his torso, seemingly attempting to cut through Takeo, all with a tree branch...
SLASHH!!! SPLAT!!!
The force sent Takeo back several metres, and even though it was a tree branch, the old man had still cut through Takeo, blood dripped to the floor as the cut had even left a wide mark on Takeo's chest.
Gripping his chest, Takeo felt immense pain, but he still had a smile on his face, he didn't want to give up and still charged at the old man.
'What a crazy brat~', the old man thought amusingly, "What a monster I found~", he proclaimed out-loud, before he went into his stance.
Because of the pure euphoria he was feeling, Takeo couldn't hear the old man's compliment and still kept sprinting towards him...
VOOSH!!!
'He really is worthy of learning the Flame-Thunder Breathing Style', 'It's about time I end this', the old man thought, before wiping his smile off his face.
Appearing right in-front of the old-man, Takeo struck a diagonal slash but hit nothing but air...by the time he realised, he was already unconscious.
WHACK!
The old man waited for Takeo to appear right in-front of him, before he moved at lightning fast speed and materialised right behind Takeo, whacking him on the neck and making him unconscious before he picked him up.
Looking at the boy one more time, the old man chuckled, "hehehe~", before walking towards a distant mountain.

<5 Hours Later>
Takeo woke up on a bed in a dark room. He gazed at ceiling before feeling his heart, "So I lost...", he muttered. Instead of being upset, he was feeling over the moon, 'To think that someone so strong is my teacher...', 'One day I'll definitely beat him', he thought.
"YOSH!", he proclaimed with his hand formed into a fist, before he attempted to get up..."AHH!", he shouted, feeling pain all over his body. His use of Flame Breathing earlier had already fatigued his body, with added injuries suffered during his bout with his new master, his whole body was screaming to get some rest.
"It hurts all over~", he proclaimed with a comedic face lying on the bed unable to move.
Hearing he had awoken, his master opened his door slowly.
CREAK!
"So you're awake finally", he stated, with his hands behind his back.
"Yes Master...but I can't move..", he stated embarrassingly.
"That's natural, after you're use of Flame Breathing earlier and our bout", he retorted.
'I'm still not strong enough', Taeko thought, before the old man continued, "Since you injured yourself to that extent, I'll allow you to have 2 weeks rest, I will provide you with food during these 2 weeks, but after that, you have to provide for yourself...Am I clear?", the master stated.
"...Yes Master. But may I ask what your name is?", Takeo asked, curious on who he was.
"It is rude to ask some-one of their name, before you have introduced yourself~", he retorted, which made Takeo more embarrassed.
"Sorry Master...My name is Takeo Yasushi, May I know what your name is?", he asked once again, this time showing the courtesy that his master deserved.
"It is okay...my name is Kenzō Masaru, but you may call me Master Kenzō", he proclaimed.
'Kenzō Masaru?? Then he isn't a character in the original series? So who is he', Takeo thought confused on who this man was.
Noticing that he was thinking about something too much, Master Kenzō patted Takeo's head and said, "Don't think too much...Save your mental power for the hellish training you'll go through after 2 weeks. Make sure to get some rest", before he got up to leave the room. "Yes Master Kenzō", Takeo stated, attempting to bow, but hurting his back in the process.
THUD!
"AH!", he yelled in pain, as he collided onto the floor, to which Master Kenzō sighed...
SIGH!
Before he had a smile on his face and helped Takeo back up to the bed.
