The Battle-Crazed Demon Slayer Chapter 26

TAP! TAP! TAP!

The sky was getting darker and darker as Takeo tried to find a place to stay for the night.

To make things worse, it was raining crazily....

Takeo's robe was getting soaked which felt like hell for Yuko, as he attempted so sleep.

Even though he was getting soaked, Takeo wasn't cold and didn't care.....he was currently thinking about how to find Zamuza and Muzan.

'Where are those two?' Takeo thought whilst he walked.

Whilst he was thinking, he felt like someone was right in-front of him so he looked up.

Standing there was a young muscular man with yellow eyes, (but Takeo couldn't see his irises properly) and short, bright pink hair with skin that looked like a bright green-tinged of white decorated by patterns of thick blue lines that ran across his whole body as he wore a short, sleeveless purple shirt.

TAP!

Coming to a stop, Takeo placed his hand on his blade as a precaution.

"You must be Takeo?" the man asked with a smile.

"Who are you?" he retorted.

"My name is Akaza." he stated before he walked closer to Takeo.

Coming closer, Takeo could finally see irises...and to his surprise it stated, "Upper Rank Three."

Wasting no time, he quickly unsheathed and pointed towards Akaza.

"You must be really eager to fight? I like that." He proclaimed, before he cracked his knuckles.

CRACK! CRACK!

'I'll just bring him to Muzan after I'm done with him.' Akaza thought, before he got into a martial arts stance.

Whilst he faced Akaza, Takeo felt danger to his life like never before.

In response, he quickly entered his own stance, as the two stared at each-other for a few minutes.

DRIP! DRIP! DRIP!

The rain pattered against the ground fiercely as the environment awaited for their fight.

ZOOOOOOM!!!!

After a couple more seconds, Akaza wasted no more time and dashed at with immense speed, surprising Takeo.

Appearing right in-front of Takeo, Akaza raised his right leg, attempting to thrust it into chin which would result him to suffer some brain damage in the form of a Reverse Rising Axe Kick....

SWOOSHH!!!

'Fast!' Takeo thought, before he quickly tilted his head to the left, avoiding the kick, but narrowly.....but before he knew it a shockwave occurred behind the back of his head, causing his ears to bleed due to how loud it was.

Akaza's Blood Demon Art grants him the ability to generate and manipulate shockwaves from the sheer pressure created by his fists and legs when striking his ability combined with his superhuman strength makes him a formidable opponent in both close and ranged combat.

The shockwave not only temporarily deafened him, but also pushed him off balance by surprise....giving Akaza the perfect opportunity, as he spun in mid-air, causing a shockwave to occur at the back of his legs.....propelling him towards Takeo like a rocket, before sending a destructive downwards punch at Takeo.....

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The powerful downward punch caused a huge shockwave to occur in the ground causing a massive crater to appear.....

And in that crater was Takeo, who laid there with a crushed rib before he slowly stood up...

'I underestimated him.' Takeo thought.

Right before the attack landed on him, he reached into his pocket and threw Yuko away, before he raised his guard....but it was too late.

"Eh? Your still up~" Akaza stated mockingly.

Instead of responding, Takeo picked up his sword and went back into his stance.....

His heart started beating irregularly....it was getting faster and faster.....

The fear of death made him unconsciously get excited....as a wide smile appeared on his face contrasting with his eyes which looked at Akaza with fury.

"If it's a fight you want....then I'll gladly give you one." Takeo retorted, lowering his centre of gravity, with his hand on blade....lightning generated all around him, before he breathed out steam....flames appeared on his blade.....and with that chaotic smile, he looked like death himself.

Feeling a chill down his spine, Akaza got serious as he went into his stance....

The second he did.....

VOOOOSHHH!!!!!!

Takeo ripped through the air, with speed that mimicked lightning, before he slashed ferociously, using the the destructive force of his Flames

BOOOSHH!!!!

Bringing back his arm, seemingly gathering energy before the attack reached him, Akaza quickly punched the empty air in-front of him, creating a powerful shockwave from his pressure seemingly negating the attack.

BANNNNG!!!

He was about to prepare another to send it towards Takeo, however, by the time Takeo released his attack, he moved like a blur...rushing towards Akaza with a wild heart.....

Materialising one step away from Akaza on his left, Takeo's leg covered in flames....before he took a step forward....giving him enough momentum, he raised his sword high up before he unleashed a destructive slash packed with lightning downwards onto Akaza....

BOOOSHH!!!! SWING!!!!

But before the attack could land on him, using a snowflake-shaped compass underneath him with numbers from 1 to 12, Akaza was able to track Takeo's locations incoming attacks through sensing his will to fight

And so, he quickly jumped to his right, avoiding the attack....however, the ground were he was standing was cut into a large crater, shocking and exciting Akaza.

"kekeke" he chuckled, before he smashed his leg towards Takeo, sending a devastating shockwave towards him....

Quickly seeing, Takeo lowered his centre of gravity, raising his sword in the air before it was covered in flames, he quickly spun it in the air...

WOOSHH!!! WOOOSHH!!! WOOOSHHH!!!!

Swinging it in a circular motion, he defended against the shockwave, but was pushed back under the pressure....

BANG!!!

However, whilst he was moving back, he spun his body before slashing his multiple times towards Akaza generating a powerful lightning strike in several directions with their blade.

SWOOOSHH!!!! SWOOOSHH!!!! SWOOSHHH!!!!!

Twisting his body, Akaza quickly raised his left leg, before smashing it into the air.....sending another disastrous shockwave....

BOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!

However, some of the electrified strikes passed by and ended connecting with Akaza, cutting his arms off....

Stunned, he quickly turned his body as he felt Takeo right behind him.....

SWOOOSHHH!!!!!

And he was right.....as Takeo slashed towards him with frightening speed, however, using everything he had, Akaza jumped into the air, narrowly avoiding it....

Due to his arms being cut off, he was currently at his weakest....

'I have to deal with him right now!' Takeo thought, as he could feel his ribs aching and his heart was beating so fast, he was thinking that he might end up in a coma.

However, without him knowing, a mark was slowly growing under his robe.....

'I can't lose! I can't lose!' Akaza thought as he stared at Takeo approaching at him quickly.

His arms were growing quicker the more he willed himself, but Takeo knew he still had a chance.....

Charging at him with great speed he appeared right next to him, his sword right by his neck and we was about to end him once and for all but then suddenly....

Takeo gript his heart in pain...

"AHHH!!!!" He screamed.

His sword was right next to his neck....but at that moment his heart screamed in pain....

Seeing his chance, Akaza sent a flurry of kicks at Takeo, sending a powerful shockwave which flung Takeo far away.....

BOOOOOMMM!!!!

BANG!!!!

Smacking into a tree, Takeo was under great pain....

RIP!!!

Ripping his robe, he glanced at his body and noticed some sort of mark was growing.

The more it grew, the more pain he felt....

"AHHHHH!!!!!"

After a few minutes,

Akaza finally reached the place where he sent Takeo, his arms now fully healed, he wasn't worried as he'd also noticed that Takeo was hurt.

Walking through the forest, he felt an ominous force watching him.

"Eh? Is that you Muzan?" He asked, feeling a force that felt like Muzan's.

HOWL!

The wind howled as the bushes waved.

Whilst Akaza was looking around, he failed to notice the young man right behind. With blood red eyes and snow white hair, wielding a crimson red sword.

"Muz-," he stated again, but before he could finish, the figure's arm behind him moved like a blur, sending dozens of strikes all over Akaza's body....cutting all of his limbs off, before burning them, before finally cutting off his head....

Watching the whole fight discretely, Muzan was shocked to see someone still using those techniques.

'So that old bastard actually had a successor.' he thought, putting some trouble in his plans to make him a demon.

'It looks Akaza's gonna kill him so it's okay.' he thought.

But when he saw the scene in-front of him a chill ran down his spine.

'Demon,' He thought.
