Chapter 1: Tale 1: Reincarnation
For eons humans,demons, and the gods live in peace and I was the emperor of the Mortals Realm. Heavens have the Jade Emperor, but the Demon Emperor that rules over The Demon Realm has disappeared and this causes chaos and unbalance in The Demon Realms.
Now the demons are killing each other for the throne, some even went to other realms to start a new life or even have a thought of taking over the realm themselves. This has caused me and the Jade Emperor to struggle with coming up with ideas to stop this chaos before it causes unbalance to the three realms.
When I finally thought of a way to put an end to this chaos, I immediately rushed toward the Jade Emperor to further this plan, but I was stopped by my beloved wife. I happily tell her that I've finally thought of a way to bring an end to this chaos. She gave a smile and hugged me, but suddenly I felt a knife stabbed from behind my back.
"Why?", I asked.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you ruin my plan. This dagger is specifically made to kill anyone. Even the gods won't be able to heal this wound.", She replied.
"Answer me this. Of all the years we've been together, have you ever truly loved me?", I continued while keeping myself breathing.
"No.", She replied while crying.
"You are lying! If you have never loved me then why are you crying!?", I yelled.
She stabbed the knife even deeper.
"Please just die already!", She continued to cry.
As I close my eyes, I still see her crying. What is the reason that caused her to kill me? I can't rest in peace unless balance is brought forth to the three realms and know the reasons behind my wife's betrayal.
*Light from my amulet flashes*
This amulet that the master gave me before he passed away. It's light is so warm…
*Gasped* didn't I just die? How am I still alive and where the hell is this place?
It's all dark and creepy. The trees are all dead and the sky is black just like the Demon Realm.
As I raised my arm to scratch my head, I felt a pointy thing. I rushed toward the puddle nearby and saw horns on my head and I had glowing red eyes.
No….it can't be. I've been reborn as a humanoid demon!? And that amulet that master gave me, where did it go? Why do I feel a burn in my chest?
I looked down and saw a mark that looked just like the face of the amulet. Don't tell me that it fused with me and caused me to reincarnate into this demon!?
But that isn't the thing that causes me to be surprised. At every corner I look at, I saw demons slashing and murdering each other.
"The throne is mine!", One of them yelled as he cut off the head of the demon in front of him.
So this is what's happening in the Demon Realm.
"Satanael! Watch out!", An old demon warned.
I looked up and saw a muscular demon slash his sword toward my head. I immediately used my right hand to catch it, but this body is too weak. I can't hold it for long.
I quickly pushed the blade away and rolled over to dodge. If this goes on, I'm dead for sure.
Think Wu Tian, think. This guy's attack has immense strength but he swung at an average speed and took 5 seconds to rest and breathe after each attack. I could use this chance to attack, but what is his weak spot?
"Damn you!", He yelled in anger as began to dodge
That's right I can use that technique. Emperor's Eyes Of Conquering.
The 1st Layer of Emperor Eyes Of Conquering can locate the enemies weak point or location of their past injuries. I know attacking people injuries is a cowardice move, but I can't fight honorably in this weak body.
Found it! This demon has an injury in his lower abdomen and shoulder. I could aim for those two spots to bring him down for good.
I quickly pick up a sword on the ground and prepare for the muscular demon next attack.
The demon swung his great sword at me, but I managed to deflect it.
As expected the demon stopped to breathe. I took this chance to get closer to him. 3..2..1..0! He's going to attack again.
*Clang*
1..2...3! Now my chance!
*Stabbed toward his abdomen*
"Argh!", He screamed in pain.
Oh yeah tough guy! Let's see if you can still stand after this! *Stabbed deeper*
"Hahaha! You should've wished you never met me!", I laughed while catching my breath.
Damn, I would've died today if I don't attack his injuries today. I've lost all my cultivations after reincarnating so if I want to survive this deadly place, I'll need to get back to the cultivation stage I was in my previous life as the Emperor Of The Mortals Realm. The problem here is that I'm in the Demon Realm so there's no Pure Qi here for me to absorb and cultivate. All of my cultivation techniques that I've learned in my previous life are useless here. Emperor's Eyes Of Conquering can only be used this one time due to me burning away my life energy to use. After that fight, I've just lost one year of life. I can't afford to continue to burn away my life energy.
"Satanael! Are you hurt anywhere? Our reinforcement is here!"The old demon rushed toward me and asked.
Apparently this weak little demon name is Satanael and he is the grandson of the village head of Black Light Village. He was born with a weak body and unable to cultivate so all the other demons in the village saw him as a burden and trash. The only person that actually cared for him was the village head.
"I'm fine grandpa. I'm just a little exhausted.", I continued to breathe.
"You don't look fine. Are you sure you are alright?", The tall muscular demon from the group asked.
This body...is too weak. It Looks like this body can't handle its life energy disappearing.
*Fainted*
"Satanael! Satanael! He's not breathing, we need to bring him back to the village to heal!", Grandpa yelled.
Although I was unconscious, I could felt someone picking me up from the ground
"When did he get so heavy?"The muscular demon mumbled.
Bro, I could still hear you. I'm super skinny and weak and you are complaining that I'm heavy? Are all those muscles just for show? Whatever, I'm too exhausted to even open my eyes and talk back. I need to rest and recover.
When I opened my eyes, I was laying on a cloth with a thin blanket over me. Where am I?
"Ah you are awake. We were worry sick since you've been unconscious for three continuous days. How are you feeling?", Grandpa asked.
*Cough*
"Other than fatigue all over my body, I just felt a little exhausted.", I replied.
"I see. I can't blame you since you have a weak body, but please don't try that again. I only have one grandson so I can't lose you.", He replied.
"Village head. Is the young master alright?"A tall demon walked in and asked.
Wait, this sounds like the guy that called me heavy.
"There you are. Even though I was unconscious, I could still hear you calling me heavy while I'm super skinny. Are all those muscles just for show or are you really that weak?". I replied.
"There's my grandson. Hearing you insult someone like that is a sign that you are getting better.", He laughed.
"Kid, you can insult me all you like, but you are still the weakest in the village. You won that fight with that demon just because you luckily manage to figure out his weak point.", The tall demon said. "And I'm not someone you can insult that easily, I'm this village martial arts teacher."
"I'm not weak. That victory wasn't just out of pure luck, it was my own skills and efforts.", I replied confidently.
"Isn't that right? Here's a basic martial arts and cultivation technique. If you manage to learn them and win the genius martial arts tournament next month then I'll acknowledge you as a true warrior.", He said as he placed the two books next to me. "I doubt you'll be able to learn them at all since your body was born weak and not suitable for cultivation."
"Challenge accepted!", I smiled.
He is right about that weak body part. If I want to cultivate then I'll have to destroy and rebuild this body. Master once told me that there are plants and herbs in the Demon Realm that can be used to rebuild the weak body and make them stronger and suitable for cultivation once it is mixed together.
"Grandpa, I'll need you to help me find some herbs so I could make a Re-birth Pill.", I began.
