Chapter 33: FEVERISH
Her fever was still the same when she woke up the following day so she did not go to school. She had no strength to get up nor will to move. She felt mentally drained. Exhausted on thinking what had happened and where things went wrong.
The events yesterday flashbacked on her mind again. She remember how Edmond held Val's hand and how happy they looked together. Tears were forming in her eye when her mom entered the room to check on her. Her family had no clue on what had happened.
As soon as her mom tried to feel her forehead for temperature, she sat up and hug her tight and started to sob. Her mom was shocked but did not suspect anything. She thought that her clinginess was because of the fever. Her mom calmed her down and nursed her until she fell asleep again.
It has been few days now and she still has no strength. Fever is gone but the body is still weak. She was out of school for a week. Her thoughts were not just about Edmond and Val anymore but more on her classmate's reaction when she goes back to school. This is the moment that they have been waiting for, when everybody realizes that she had been played around.
