Chapter 4: Powers and Ambitions
"I believe I have a better place for you to train" Said The Ancient One opening a portal.
Professor X wanted to accompany Anthony but noticed an ugly look directed at him. The young man was spiteful and would not forgive him. Charles helplessly watched Anthony and the Ancient One disappear through the portal.
Anthony was in a world covered with ice and blizzards, slightly lit by the sun, in front of the young man, a mixture of buffalo and a tiger almost ten meters high growled at him. The first thing Anthony realized was that he was not cold.
" Where are we?" Anthony asked.
"A world 32105 light years from Earth. You have already found your training partner. " The Anciaent One smiled.
The Horned Tiger shot towards Anthony with incredible speed. Anthony decided to try to dominate him with his own fists, the boy had already removed his training weights and was curious to see how much he had improved.
"First, I will test whether my powers have improved." Anthony immediately used a Jiu jitsu stroke on the giant beast, ending with a punch to the chest that destroyed all of his organs.
"I think my strength has tripled. If before my blows were 33 tons, now I have almost 100, and I feel that I can carry up to 150 tons with some effort. Of course, if I get a little emotional, the power can grow even more. " Anthony said as he looked at his toned muscles for his age, but not to the point that he looked like a monster.
"I also feel that I can create cosmic flames. It must be interesting to use them on enemies. I think I should test the improvements in my powers regarding the manipulation of life that have improved ". Anthony immediately closed his eyes preparing to resurrect the monster.
"I feel a slight distortion of reality in its power to manipulate life, I wonder what that will bring." He thought The Ancient One.
Three years ago, Anthony learned that in order to resurrect someone he would have to exchange some of his vital energy in order for death to accept the exchange and allow the soul to return to the body.
As Anthony has an advanced healing factor he had no problem reviving simple beings like animals, as long as their bodies were in good condition, although he never managed to resurrect a human being who had a more complex body and soul.
With his new update, his manipulation of life had reached its peak and he could directly program organic matter. The biggest gain that Anthony had gained is that he could now circumvent this exchange and had a small Will power within the territory of Death.
Through thought Anthony would already be able to exercise the will power of the world of death and save people from an area, or through his photographic memory.
The Tiger began to have its tissues reconstructed until the wound was imperceptible. Anthony snapped his fingers and the animal came back to life confused by what had happened. Anthony was glad that his healing had jumped to the atomic level with his new powers.
"I'm sure I can now heal even more serious wounds and rebuild tissues and organs from scratch." Anthony smiled as the confused beast ran away and the Ancient One smiled at the boy in front of him.
Anthony decided to levitate the rocks in front of him to see the range of his telekinesis power. The maximum force that Anthony was able to load previously was ten tons if focused. Anthony started levitating extremely large rocks that weighed no less than thirty tons. Anthony guessed that if he strained his mind to the maximum he would be able to levitate up to fifty tons without losing control, a good increase.
"Anthony, do you agree to be my apprentice?" The Ancient One asked.
Obviously the elderly woman was not aware that Anthony had a little knowledge about future events. Anthony was shocked by the proposal, however he did not want the Ancient One to oversee everything he did or to waste time training a power with less potential than his.
"I will have to refuse. I know that a wizard's path lasts for years and to be honest I want to focus on my family's business and find my own path to strength. " Anthony said, but inside he wished the old woman wouldn't die in the future.
This timeline was different from what he was aware of, but there were some things in common, like the kidnapping of Tony Stark years ago and his speech. Anthony smiled at the old woman in a gesture of thanks. Reed Richards had also founded the fantastic quartet at the same time that Iron Man was emerging in the world. It was a complicated timeline and he had to worry.
"Feel welcome to Kamar-taj if you change your mind. Time to take you home. " Said The Ancient one a little sad but still enchanted with the boy in front of him.
"Ancient One is not necessary, I feel a great affinity with space and that I can teleport anywhere I want." Said Anthony as he teleported behind the old woman.
"This sounds dangerous, but I remember from the records that Phoenix users had the power to teleport to the entire universe, it seems that their power is the same in that sense. Take me along to test it first. " Said the old woman solemnly as she enveloped her and the boy in a magic bubble.
Anthony immediately teleported to New York, in his mansion's room, successfully. After saying goodbye to the elderly woman, Anthony went to meet his father in his office.
"Anthony, my son, what a surprise. Wesley hadn't told me that you were coming today. Your mother is in London looking for a Van Gogh collection ". Wilson said with a smile and got up to give his son a hug.
In recent years Wilson Fisk has expanded his crime empire to become number one in the New York underworld. Wilson was eager to introduce his son to work.
"Daddy, I decided to leave the Institute. Please ask someone there later to collect my stuff, it's not like I'm on good terms with someone at school. At the moment I want to learn a little about family business and I also have a request. " Said Anthony.
"I am very happy, son. It's the best time for you to learn from me and create a name in the process too, tell me, what do you want? " Wilson asked.
"I will be very straightforward, I want to create a unique company in the world. You are probably aware of my healing powers, but what you don't know is that I have already reached another level. I can heal any wound or disease and even raise the dead if necessary. " Anthony said.
"This ... It's impressive ..." Wilson was perplexed but not so shocked that his son was capable of anything. In business it was something with unlimited potential, the question was what Anthony would like to do with the power.
"I want to create a company capable of monopolizing the only thing that is not marketable in the world, life itself. I am able to rejuvenate, add years of useful life and even revive the dead. Tell me dad, will I be successful? " Anthony smiled wryly at his father.
"The question is, at what price do you want to do this?" Wilson asked.
"I want to announce myself to the world and shock everyone with the news. I also hope that you help me to threaten the congress so that they don't approve that sentinel project. It's the only thing that could distance me from what I want, Daddy. Prices will be as follows… "said Anthony, handing Wilson Fisk a sheet of paper.
"1 billion to resuscitate a dead person, 500 million to cure someone of an illness. 300 million to rejuvenate a person in up to 50 years "Wilson read in shock.
"I'm not going to make anyone semi-immortal because I don't want to end the goose that lays the golden eggs, so I think it's best not to mention it." Anthony thought.
Wilson's eyes almost popped out when he started laughing, Anthony laughed together because it was a great project. The rich could pay and would absolutely want eternal life. Everyone would sacrifice their goods for this and it would become a cycle. Human greed was good when it filled Anthony's pockets.
"Wesley, come here ... I have something to show you ..." Wilson said.
Anthony thought that the best time to demonstrate his power would be just before the invasion of the New York invasion that would occur within a year. There he would show that it was not madness or fiction and that there were hidden powers in this world that people did not know. At the same time he would be seen as a good Samaritan and people would appreciate him.
Wilson did not understand why Anthony would postpone it if he has such great power, but decided not to ask, after all everyone has his secrets and Wilson would obviously respect his son.
"It will be a good opportunity to work on the Mutant cause and how people see it. A good opportunity to bury Trask and the sentinel project for good. I wonder what would happen when the most powerful beings on Earth like Magneto came to me so that I would resurrect their family members ". Anthony thought and smiled.
"Did you say you want me to abandon lawlessness?" Wilson asked, frowning.
"Look, dad, you understand what I'm bringing means. Immeasurable power that surpasses that of nations. However, I am already a mutant and would not be well regarded if I were connected to criminal networks. I know it may be a blow to your organization, but we can move to legality and profit more than in crime. There aren't many people who connect the underworld to you and it's simple to make them disappear, most people know you as the city's philanthropist. I want the name Fisk to be printed on my company and that you follow your dream. Fisk Enterprises will be the largest company in the world. " Anthony said.
Wilson stopped for a moment while looking at Anthony Fisk and his eyes watered. His life had been hard and everything was conquered with a lot of effort. He understood what his son was giving him and that it was a floor bigger than he was. Fisk's dream? Become President of EUA. Wesley then went into the office after knocking on the door.
" Yes sir? Young master, I did not expect your arrival, I apologize. " Wesley said to Anthony.
"You don't have to worry, Uncle Wesley." Anthony smiled at him.
Wesley might be Wilson's bloodthirsty henchman, but he was a nice guy who had educated him about many things in this world. Apparently Geography was different from its original among many other things.
"Wesley, from today Anthony will return and tomorrow I want you to return to the Institute and collect your things. Again I leave the task of teaching him in your hands. The boy learned martial arts, it is good that he also trains so as not to miss the practice.
We have a plan for next year and you should find someone you can trust to help Anthony with his project. " Fisk said to Wesley, describing slowly how he will dissolve his shadow organization and Anthony will emerge.
Anthony reflected on his plans on his bed looking up at the ceiling. Anthony decided to make a suit for him, after all, if he went to a universe of super heroes and had none, there would be some serious problem with him.
January 3, 2012 - Fisk Mansion.
Anthony had asked Fisk for some materials for his uniform, including anti-metal and vibranium. They were more difficult then to obtain metals, but they still existed on the illegal market. Wilson Fisk naturally provided everything his son wanted. Slowly the pieces arrived and Anthony scribbled his designs.
One of the projects that Anthony started working on for his future company was the weapons project. Anthony wanted to put as much alien technology into his hands as he could after the invasion, without allowing the Shield monopoly or even the Stark monopoly.
If Anthony sold technology on an alien level to the world, while the world would become stronger for his future wars, he would make a name and money for his family and company.
Anthony decided to call his parents today to grant him a lifetime addition. Wesley was also called as a vote of confidence, Anthony would gift him.
"My baby, I missed you so much." Vanessa hugged Anthony as he tried to escape.
"Okay, son, what do we have to do?" Wilson asked apprehensively. Wesley was beside him.
"Thanks for the opportunity, young master." Wesley said.
Wesley was truly grateful to Anthony. Wesley had lost his wife at a very young age and he wanted to ask the young boss to resuscitate her, but he didn't know how. When he discovered Anthony's powers he was surprised but not so shocked after the day that he and Vanessa were kidnapped.
Anthony noticed Wesley's strange feelings and read his mind. Naturally there he saw Wesley's late wife. Anthony never knew that his mentor once had a family and he couldn't help feeling sad for him.
With emerald green eyes, a great vital force was immersed in Wesley, Vanessa and Wilson Fisk, making their working lives stretch and rejuvenate for almost ten years. Anthony decided to do this because he didn't want extremely young parents, he thought it was strange.
"There, Daddy, Mom and Uncle Wesley" You will always look like this forever and can be considered semi-immortality as long as you are not murdered or have an accident. If you are too, I will resurrect them easily. " Said Anthony.
"Thank you my son" Vanessa and Fisk were hugging Anthony. What Anthony didn't tell them is that he had repaired Vanessa's uterus ...
Wesley was sad and thoughtful despite everything, what he wanted was to be with Karen, but she was brutally taken away by the Italian mafia when he was still young, and after that Wilson Fisk took him in.
"Uncle Wesley, wait. I have something for you. " Anthony's eyes went green again and a person slowly started to form out of nowhere in front of him. First his bones, his tissues, organs, muscles, until then he formed Karen, Wesley's late wife.
" Where am I?" Karen yawned
" Young master?!! Karen my love "Wesley sobbed as he hugged Karen and cried.
"Wesley, that was a nightmare, wasn't it?" Karen kissed Wesley and they both stayed in that moment for a few minutes. After explaining what had happened to Karen, Wesley addressed Anthony.
"Young master, I will never forget what you did for me." Wesley said. His gratitude was true, he was never so grateful to anyone. He was already going to kneel to Anthony to swear his loyalty when he was stopped.
"Uncle Wesley, you are part of my family, and family must always be protected and cared for. You and Karen will have eternal youth, and you will live forever unless you are murdered or have a serious accident. Live well!". Anthony explain
Vanessa smiled in approval, Wilson was also happy for Wesley because he was a better subordinate to him and would be a good way to consolidate ties between them.
With that the preparations for the New York show were ready.
