They live in the Traditional homes filled with huts and so on. Enjoying each other's company, food etc. Sometimes the whole neighborhood can be called to a person's house to eat that depends on if that household decides to cook for the whole neighborhood. Everyone will come eating together in the same plate. It made life easier and bearable for them to live in.
The School's System was different, if you place your right hand above your head stretching it and it was able to touch your ears it means that you could be in the Secondary school. But if it doesn't you'll have to stay at home and help your parents till your time is right. This process made the educational process slow.
If i remember more, I'll just wing it along with the novel.
