Chapter 1: Reborn
Daniel remembers that Blaze and the others are probably at the bridge that Aaron went to. "Please be alive! Please be alive! Please be alive! I don't wanna lose anyone..." Daniel says, as he runs to the bridge. Daniel gets to the bridge and doesn't see anyone that he recognizes. At least, not until he looks in the water. He makes an audible gasp when he sees Blaze in the water with a giant cut on his chest, and his eyelids open wide, unblinking. This reveals his green and blue eyes, that seemed drained of any life. "BLAZE!" He yells, before he jumps in, grabs Blaze's cold body, and brings him onto the shore. He then calls his mom for help, and she answers. "Mom, I need your help! A friend of mine is injured! And I don't even know if they're dead or not!" Daniel says. "Okay Daniel, just calm down and tell me where you are." His mom says. "I'm at one of the bridges between a body of water..." Daniel says. "Okay, Daniel, I'll just track your phone, and I'll be right there." His mom says "Okay mom, thank you so much..." Daniel says. "Of course, sweetie." his mom says before hanging up. "Please be alive... Please... I don't want to lose you..." Daniel says, while tearing up.
Ein wakes up in a hospital and feels excruciating pain in his chest. He inhales sharply. He then thinks to himself. "Man, Aaron really did a number on me. Though, I guess I deserved it. I wasn't myself. I haven't been myself for a very long time. I doubt that anyone can forgive me after everything I've done against my will. Just being a bystander inside my own head for so many years, as I hurt countless people... Physically and emotionally. Aphmau, Aaron, Daniel, and everyone else." Ein starts to cry slightly. "Do I even deserve to be alive anymore, after all I've done?" Ein thinks to himself. Then, he realizes that he can move his hands on his own accord for once in a long time. Suddenly, Ein starts a strained and quiet laugh. Then, he thinks: "Pathetic, I could only control myself after all of his friends are more than likely dead. All because of me." Ein starts having flashbacks of everything that happened. And flashbacks of "him," the person that made him that monster. "I... need... to... apologize, at... least." Ein just barely gets those words out of his mouth, through the pain. He then presses the nurse call button on the hospital bed, with what little strength he has. After a few seconds of silence, a female voice answers. "Oh, Mr. Ein, you're awake!" Ein then responds, "Aa.... ron..." before fading out of consciousness.
