Chapter 3: School day
"Leah's pov"
It was Monday, school day, I slept here at peace without stirring or waking up by my nightmares, I cleaned up and wore a dark green crop top and a black ripped jeans, I did my makeup at minimal. Went down to the kitchen there was a note.
"Breakfasts at the table, sorry got some tabs on a person who happens to be on my list, all the best for your first day school".
I sighed,
I ate my breakfast quickly, I didn't wanna be alone, I took my car straight to the school and parked it at the end. I don't want to create problems on my first day.
Everyone in the school looked at me weirdly, well I m technically a rogue now without a pack.
I walked straight to the office to collect my schedule.
The secretary is a human, interesting.
"Good morning, I m Leah Martin, new transfer student, I here to collect my schedule" I smiled at her.
She is in her mid 40s, still gorgeous look, I liked her personality, she smiled a lot.
"Oh, I was waiting for you, here take your schedule paper, the locker number with the code is in it, you don't have to worry about witches breaking your locker, it has protection on it" she handed over me the paper.
"Good luck on your first day" she smiled at me.
"Thank you, have a nice day" I said, it feels good to interact with other people at peace.
I walked down the corridor, it still looks empty except for few people.
I went to the locker and kept few things
I looked at my schedule, the first period of all subject is good damn 'physics'.
I don't have anything against it, but it's hard to focus on something and understanding it when your brain is in peanut size.
I walked into the class, it was half empty, I sat on last bench of the class and was doodling in a notebook. Suddenly a boy rushed into the class and started to walk towards me, I panicked he is a werewolf, most likely an alpha. Well I m an alpha too. I worked on my facial features and kept it blank.
He drew a chair next to me and sat down.
"What are you doing here rogue" he spoke on a deadly low tone.
"Studying obliviously" I fake smiled on him.
"Cut the crap" he hissed.
"I m here with alpha ryder's permission" i bared my teeth.
He growled at me.
I laughed "typical alpha male" i muttered.
"Call your alpha in line" he commanded a brunette girl, she lowered her head and ran off.
He didn't take his eyes off me for what it's like 6minutes, the girls rushed back and announced "the alpha's here".
"Stephen, I heard what happened here, she is under my packs protection and she isn't a rogue, she is from blue moon pack" he sheathed at him.
Hushed whispers started. I tried to tune it away but I couldn't.
"I heard that everyone in that pack died, how is she alive".
"She is a freak, look at her hair".
"She is boring".
"why does she have a powerful aura".
"Is she alpha martin's daughter".
"Whatever, she should die".
I gripped the end of my desk. And my jaw pained from clenching it too hard. The alpha Ryder's son came up to my desk and whispered "see you at the lunch, don't get into too much trouble" with that he walked away.
The annoying alpha remained besides me even after the class started, guess I m stuck with him.
He had his gaze Burning on me.
After the class ended, I stood up.
He grabbed my hand "what's your name rogue" he smirked at me.
"It's none of your business" I narrowed at him.
"Do you like to be called rogue?, so why don't you tell me your name" he looked like he had enough fun.
"Jerk" I muttered and ran off from the class to avoid him.
God, he is hard to avoid with his sharp jawline and plump lips, sea blue eyes that could melt you with its intensity, raven hair that I wanna have my fingers in it. He is a drool worth person.
Rest of the class was peaceful, but the whispers started where were I went, I didn't like that.
The gossips travel faster since we werewolf could mind-link with the pack member.
"Stupid wolfs" I muttered to the group who are busy gossiping and giving me dirty looks.
They sneered in response.
I was on my way to third class when I ran into a girl, she a bright red hair like mine and black eyes.
She created a bubble around us
"Sorry my bad" she had a playful smile on lips and a second later I noticed her fangs. She looked cool.
"It's ok" I said, but I couldn't move away from her, it's like a magnet, maybe it's because she is beautiful.
"I thought your one of mine, this bubble acts as a barrier, we can talk freely" she reached out and touched my hair gently.
"I even feel the family bond pull towards you" she continued with confused look on her face.
So that's why I can't move. It's the family bond.
"That's impossible" I said quickly.
"Your not a vampire, you're a wolf, aren't you?" She questioned me.
"Yes, I know it's weird but I have to go" I slipped away from her, I can't let her know that I have royal vampire blood like her.
She zipped to me, "stop" she grabbed me.
"Leave me alone" I command her.
"As you wish princess" she turned around. She burst the bubble by snapping her fingers.
"Oh god she found out, but she doesn't know what I m, I have to lay low" I hurried to my class.
Maths didn't help my mood.
My nerves felt like haywire, my heart ached for that vampire, I felt a sister pull towards her. I wanna know more about her. To know if I can trust her with this secret or to eliminate.
