Chapter 16: INTER-HIGH #2

I decide to stop by in the nearest cafe before I went to school. A couple of minutes, while waiting for my order I read books to vanish the boredom.

It took a half-hour before I received my order and sigh, finally, my order is here. I'm still reading those books of mine when I notice that someone is looking at my side.

While sipping on my coffee I still can feel that someone is watching every move I do. My hesitation is eating me but I ignore those eyes and continue reading.

The weather is fine so I decide to walk 'til I reach the university. Students were all busy and still practicing for the sports contest.

This will be the second day of inter-high and planned to watch the basketball game. I barely watch sports games but I did a promise to my friends.

When I reach the gymnasium entrance I felt nervous and hesitant to go inside.

That kind of feeling you don't understand and you just felt it at an unexpected time.

I was wearing puff-up upper and white pants paired with beige 3inch heels.

Though I'm just gonna watch a game, I still want myself to be neat and proper. Everyone must see me in my proper attire and not look like an old lady. Lmao,

The gym isn't crowded yet, but you'll see how students cheer their biased athletes. I went upstairs to find some vacant seats.

As much as I want to seat in front of the corridors, I can't. Students and cheerers like me are not allowed to seat down in there.

I roam my eyes and saw Elton removing his shirts and showed up his six-pack abs.

Students were now shouting because they see but Elton seems like he doesn't care about it.

I don't know much about Elton, ever since I didn't saw him on campus, or Am I just so because taking care of my daughter.

If I'll describe Elton's features, y'all will be in love with these handsome guys.

He's the man who had principles in life and rules in basic living.

Some of the students went closer to him to wipe his sweat but he left before those students come near to him.

Elton had that aura of being a serious type but soft on the inside. I like it, for the first time I do mean to say it.

Don't ask why because who would dare ignore that type of man! the hell! he's a man everyone dreamed of.

For me? I'm just attracted to him and that won't go beyond.

I fixed my eyes at the entrance to see if Fiona and her friends are there.

A lot of questions are running on my head and I know she's the only man who can answer them.

When someone sat beside me, I didn't bother to see if who sitting beside me, I just felt those kinky eyes looking at men.

"Hi." said in a husky tone.

I ignore it since I'm not sure if it was for me but after he said it someone shouted a name.

"Ely!" a boy shouted, and to my shocked, I turned my head to see who scream that name.

I felt nervous at that time hearing the name "Ely". I was hesitant to ask my classmate who is Ely but they might get it wrong if I ask them.

"Hey men! didn't see you at high school." the man uttered and had some high five to the man seating beside me.

The nervousness is still on my thighs at I can't even dare to stand and go leave this place.

My mind got it wrong, I'm was just too exhausted that even others names made me nervous.

Inter-high is now starting. Elton was the team captain he's with his co-players.

Number 13, that's his varsity number. Everyone is now getting louder and louder.

My eyes is fixed on Elton's moves and body. He moved so fast like a lightning, every time he runs while dribbling the ball all eyes are on him.

One of the most attractive features of Elton is his kindness. Some students admire him secretly, afraid to be rejected.

The first game is done our university win. Team captains are allowed to change co-players if they're tired.

One of the players of UPC is familiar to me. Everyone went out in the gym to buy some snacks before the game continued.

Lea is with me, we were looking for snacks we could eat 'til the game ended. I bought two chicken wings and 2 bottled orange juice.

When we reach our seats, I felt like I'm going to pee. Lea asks if she could go with me to the restroom but I refuse.

I was walking through the white doors when my shoe tie was tangled. Slowly I kneeled to fix my tie and didn't bother the man who walks past by.

A tiny skin of the boy touch mine and that feeling were isnt normal. My skin went dry and I got goosebumps because of it.

What I felt right now is unexplainable. I stood up and tried to catch the boy's face but I only saw his hair.

Furthermore, I ignore that feeling and went inside the restroom.

I know in myself that it wasn't a good feeling. My body felt cold and the feeling I felt right now is different.

Little by little I recovered and tried to go back. The corridors were all clean and 'm not expecting to see someone's wallet.

I opened it to see the ID picture so I can recognize who owns it. When I found the ID picture, the feeling I felt before when the man passed by is the same as what I felt right now.

Slowly I pick the ID and to my shock. It was Dalia's wallet and I don't know why is it here.

Even though I'm not sure if it was true or Am I just being delusional. I thought tears will invade my eyes again but no, it was all anger and revenge that filled my body.

I left the restroom peacefully while my mind is still in the process. Knowing she's here made me more nervous, yet I don't know if she is here to watch the game or she's with someone.
