Chapter 3: Chapter 3 : The Exiled Prince
This had later become a joke for royals who used to talk about this behind the kings back, this caused him to hate the mother-son duo even more. But for royal's prestige was of more importance hence he took the chance and exiled Charles and sent him to his death or so were his plans.
The place where Charles was exiled to was a place known as c which was also one of the forbidden places of luxenian continent. The only people who followed Charles were his two maids which were twins named Rose and tulip. Both of them were groomed by her mother herself when she was alive for Charles and both were loyal to him and could also give up their lives to protect their young master if required, and were only 2 years older than him, he treated them like family. The other person who followed them was their house butler martin.
Along with his history all the other general knowledge about the continent was also transferred to his memory. The Continent was a bit different from earth as it was more primitive, ancient and had almost no technological advancement, Monsters roamed the world and were apex hunters in the food chain. People used swords, spears and arrows to fight.
"What a scary place this is. All people here are freaking savages. The first thing to do right now is to survive only after I survive can I take my revenge. Just you guys wait I'll be back." thought Charles.
While he was thinking the door opened suddenly and his two cute maids rushed to him with concern in their eyes.
"Young master how are you feeling, after you got attacked by shadow civet we thought we almost lost you" cried tulip.
"Young master please forgive us we couldn't take care of you properly, madam would be very disappointed with us " cried rose, snot was running all over her face.
Charles looked at them and sighed gently, in 21st century where everyone was busy, familial bond kept loosening and were almost nonexistent due to technology. But here things were different, in the end he had to console them for at least half an hour before they stopped whimpering.
He looked at them and asked calmly "where is martin?"
He soon understood that after he was injured from shadow civet, their butler went to hunt it in fit of anger and had not returned yet.
Shadow civet was a 3rd Grade, rare type of monster who was agility based with dark attributes. They can easily blend into darkness and are difficult to find while they are fleeing .While he was thinking he heard footsteps and saw martin with a dead shadow civet on his shoulders and light paw parks all over his bodies through which blood was seeping out.
"good to see you have woken up young master, luckily the shadow civet which attacked you was badly wounded already and was running from something , so I attacked it sneakily and killed it "said the butler martin.
Martin was a man of few words but one could easily see how he cared for his young master and was a grandfather like figure, after speaking a few words of care they all left the room to let Charles have some rest.
