Chapter 3: The quiet boy
"Hey Dhon, look at your friend over there" says Jonhy with a mocking face.
Dhon looks back and sees Yuki walking slowly and with his head down, as he approaches it is possible to notice that Yuki is extremely awkward and shaking all over, Dhon looking at him gives a small smile and says: "what are you doing?"
"Well, you asked and I came" Yuki says with an embarrassed smile.
"Bro, I called you thinking you wouldn't come, I really thought you wouldn't come, I can't believe you came hahaha" says Dhon extremely happy.
Yuki stops and is expressionless for a few seconds "so I didn't have to come?" thinks the poor boy feeling completely cheated.
"Come quickly, sit here with us" Dhon says this, making space for yuki to sit with the group of children who are sitting on the sidewalk.
"H-E-Y Yuki how long, you rarely leave your house, right" says Jonhy with an evil smile.
"H-h-hi Jonhy" Yuki responds with a flushed face and looking away.
Dhon looks a little confused and doesn't seem to understand the situation "guys, do you know each other?" Dhon questions without understanding.
"Yes" Yuki replies a little uncomfortably, "we studied together in the fourth grade"
Dhon then looks at Yuki with a sympathetic look, he understood the situation "Damn, I think I got Yuki in trouble, but it wasn't on purpose, I invited him out of politeness, I've known him for a long time and he always makes excuses for not leaving from home I thought he wouldn't come, I hope he doesn't have any problems ", thinks Dhon feeling guilty.
"Oh how boring, let's play so tired of waiting" Tina says this while taking the card deck and distributing it equally among the children.
all the kids have fun, Yuki is sitting in the middle of the kids shaking his leg a little anxiously, with his head down holding some cards, without talking to anyone.
Tina and Dhon are talking and laughing, Jonhy is talking to a girl in a green shirt, the remaining boy is focused on the letters, although everything looks fine.
The girl who was talking to Jonhy looks at her deck of cards in surprise, so she throws the cards on the floor and shouts: "I WON YEEEEE"
"How is this possible? asks Tina "SASHA ARE YOU CHEATING!!"
"What?" Sasha says outraged and angry.
"you won every time in a row, obviously you're cheating" Tina says this by pointing a finger at Sasha's face.
Sasha says, "Hey, am I to blame if you are bad players?".
Tina screams and goes towards Sasha to hit her "Your Bi...", Sasha also goes towards Tina but both she and Sasha are stopped by Jonhy and Dhon who hold them by the arms.
"Hey calm there you two are just playing cards" says Jonhy and Dhon as he tries to stop them.
The two girls are screaming and cursing each other, Jonhy and Dhon try to stop them while Yuki is sitting on the floor with his hands on his head in despair and shouting: "how I ended up in the middle of this bunch of troglodytes".
"Damn, Tina is strong" complains Dhon while trying to hold her.
"HEY YUKI GET UP AND DO SOMETHING" yells Jonhy trying to hold Sasha.
Yuki gets scared and starts to stutter: "b-but w-what can I do? I don't want to get hurt" says Yuki shaking.
Lots of shouting, the dust on the sidewalk raises with the girls' fight making a huge smoke curtain Yuki starts to cough, the dust enters Dhon's eye, which releases Tina and causes her to end up falling on Sasha and Jonhy, everyone starts screaming and cursing each other,
"Oh god, I got tired" the boy who was concentrated in the card deck gets up "well, I'm going, I'll see you another day", then he walks towards his house and leaves.
when she turns around everyone stops fighting and screaming and is quiet for a few seconds, staring at the boy seriously, the atmosphere suddenly becomes tense. He is gone, and everyone is standing, looking, including Yuki who is looking because he did not understand why everyone was suddenly quiet.
Everything is quiet, the boy is already gone, so Sasha asks: "So just I noticed or is Kinoshi a little weird lately?"
"Yes, i noticed too" replies Dhon with a serious look.
"Yep, it's even weird to see him not get involved in fights," says Sasha
"Well, something must have happened at his house, you know, family problems" Says Tina with a serious and sad look.
"I don't know" replies Jonhy "I went to his house these days to borrow a game, and everything always looked the same".
Yuki, curious to know more, says embarrassed and looking away: "well, maybe he just got a low grade and his parents fought with him".
They all look at Yuki, he blushes and looks away "What the hell are you talking about?" Asks Jonhy, "Kinoshi is the person with the highest grade in school, he never got a low grade"
Yuki is surprised "Really? But I never heard of him."
"Well" replies Tina "he wasn't always like that, he was just like Jonhy, dumb and quarrelsome"
"HEY" Jonhy gets angry for a few seconds, but then he lowers his head and thinks a little and says: "well, it's true."
"Well, I think he must have matured and sick of children just like us" says Sasha ironically, "he is fine, after all now he is the people with the highest grade in the school."
Everyone is a little afraid, but they agree.
"The atmosphere suddenly got tense", Sasha says shaking herself and dusting her clothes, "I'm going home."
"Me too" Everyone agrees, and go home.
Tina leaves with her head down thinking: "I have a bad feeling"
Dhon says goodbye and apologizes to Yuki for the trouble and goes to his house.
Yuki is a little confused by the situation, he turns around and goes to his house.
