Chapter 3: Chapter 3 (The start of a long journey)
Having an anxiety attack in the comfort of your bed didn't make the anxiety attack better.
An anxiety attack is an anxiety attack after all.
"Blood? Whose blood?" You spoke out loud as you panicked.
Thinking, you decide to read it.
"Imagine quenching your thirst with blood, not water. Blood."
You almost barf, and decide to wrap the note in tissue, put that in a plastic bag away while you changed your clothes,
Now, you were wearing all black, you covered your head with a hood, and proceeded to stow away the note in your pocket.
Once you left, you had to make sure you weren't attracting any attention.

Finally, you had made it to the private lab.
Going to the front desk, you went to the employee and told them,
"I have something that needs testing. This is private, I'll pay you 20 k if you do this quietly, quickly, and without putting this on the records." You stated.
"Yes ma'am, I will meet all your above requirements. Give me the thing, and I'll get this done in 5 minutes." He responded.

"I have the results ma'am. It turns out to be your own blood." He said.
"How in the- How is that possible?" You spoke, bewildered.
"I'm not sure ma'am, try to think of how this person got a hold of your blood." He attempted to help you out.
Instead of giving him 20 k, you gave him 25 k.
"I hope I can rely on you again." You thanked him, concealed the note and left.
He didn't know though, the fact that you took a 25 k loan for this.
You had to pay it back, somehow.
To you, that wasn't important right now.
Solving this… mystery you could call it was top priority.
"Maybe they took my blood that night when the demon thingys came!" You thought in your head.
As you were walking towards your home, you came face to face with the girls.
"Hello?" You spoke as you kept on walking.
"Y/n!!" Ha-rin spoke.
"Mhm." You responded.
"Why were you in the classroom with Dong-sun?!" Eun Ae shrieked.
"Don't raise your voice at me, I haven't even hurt you." You spoke emotionless.
"We all used to be best friends, what has happened to you Y/N?" Da-yoon sadly asks.
"I grew up, that's what happened." You stated still in your emotionless voice.

You finally made it to your home, after barely managing to escape from the girls who were interrogating you.
But to your surprise… Dong-sun was in front of you.
"Where were you?" He asks.
"I was… out." You responded hesitantly.
In that split second you were deciding whether to share more with Dong-sun.
However, in that split second Dong-sun's eyes had also flickered to a bright red before going back to normal.
Your final choice was to keep it a secret.
What if Dong-sun had something to do with the attack?
So many questions were running through your head, and he seemed to notice something was off.
He raised his eyebrow at you, and you needed to cover up your little malfunction you could call it.
"Dong-sun, I think I lost a lot of blood. I'm feeling dizzy-" you got cut off cause you fainted.
He caught you before you hit the ground.
The fact that you were feeling dizzy over the past few days wasn't a lie.
You knew the fact that you lost a lot of blood was most probably true considering the fact that the letter you received was dipped in it.
Whoever was behind this could have a connection to the girls and possibly Dong-sun and the guys.
Is the person who attacked you the same person writing the letter or not?
And if they're not the same people how'd they get a hold of your blood?
Were they there?
You had so many questions.
Finally, you awoke from your unconscious state.
"You're awake? Omg Y/N do you know how worried I was for you?!" Dong-sun comes and gives you a big hug.
Looking around, you were in a hospital.
"When do I get discharged? And what exactly was wrong with me?" You asked him as you were still in his embrace.
"You are low in iron due to the blood loss, but take some iron pills, and you'll be ok. I got your prescription here." He hands you the bottle.
"Thanks." You give him a small smile.
"You have to take this twice a day. Once in the morning and once before you sleep." He tells you and gives you a peck on the cheek.
"Alright. I'll remember hopefully." You say as you put the bottle in your pocket.
With that, you pull him and lay in his embrace, falling asleep.
Your feelings for him were undetermined, but you knew something was there.
The butterflies you felt when he wrapped his arms around you, stroking your head assured you of that.
All of a sudden, some people barge in, very noisily.
"Omg Y/n!!! Dong-sun?! Why are you here?!" Ha-rin asked, puzzled.
"Yeah... what are you doing here?" Eun Ae questions.
"I'm the person who saw her faint. Now she's sleeping. Don't cause a ruckus." He stated firmly.
"We don't matter to you when you have her, right? All of our childhood stuff doesn't matter. Sure you might "love" her but don't treat us like crap once you have her." Da-yoon scoffs.
"We told you not to touch her. She's off limits." Ha-rin states, pissed.
"You done?" Dong-sun chuckled.
His eyes flashed red as he has this scary demeanour about him.
The girls looked at him wide-eyed.
"The past is the past. Compared to y/n you guys are trash. Since you guys care a little about her, you should protect her, properly. Notice how I said a little." Dong-sun rolls his eyes.
"Guys shush before Y/n wakes up." Da-yoon shushes everyone.
"Hello." Someone greeted them as they entered.
"Yu-ri? You're back?" Eun-Ae spoke, astonished.
"Yup. I was able to transfer here again!" She was excited, but that didn't last long.
"Y/n? Is that her? What happened to her?" She worriedly asks.
"She was low in iron, so she passed out." Dong-sun responds.
"And now Dong-sun thinks he can date her." Da-yoon rolled her eyes, annoyed.
"What about Y/n? Does she even have a say in this? It's her life, is it not?" Yu-ri asks as she sat down on a chair.
"She's like a sister to me, and I know what's best for her." Eun Ae concluded.
Little did they know… you heard everything…
