ALEX POV
I grab an apple and was about to run upstairs, but my mom stopped me with a concerned look on her face "why are you taking an apple I thought you hated apples"
"Umm I changed my mind I like apples now," I say with a questioning face, she looked at me for a quarter of a second and continued with her work. I took it as my cue and ran upstairs to my room and saw ryuk continue to roam in my room.
I threw the apple at ryuk he caught it and ate it like there was no tomorrow. I tried to make conversation "you really like apples don't you" this time instead of nodding he replied "yeah the apple in the human world taste better than the ones in the shinigami world cause it's juicier than in the shinigami world" I nodded not knowing what else to.
I wanted to know more about the death note its definitely, not a normal book, I wonder why I got select out of everyone in the whole world I got selected. I open the book to see what is written Ryuk stood behind me. In it, there were a bunch of rules
-The human whose name is written in this note shall die. This will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
-If the cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.
-If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.
-After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
"You know what this means right Ryuk?" He turned to me " I am justice! I protect the innocent and those who fear evil. I am the one that will become the god of a new world that everyone desires" Ryuk being Ryuk looked at me for a second and nodded and continued to roam around the room. I just thought about it for a while until
My door opened my head quickly shot at the door it was my mom. My eyes widened she cannot know about Ryuk. Ryuk didn't seem bothered though
