Chapter 6: Leveling up
Qin Yue'er was starting to get tired of running.
She had already run for 19 hours without taking a break. Even though she was in Qi Foundation Realm-intermediate(7), she had used all her qi running.
She started regretting coming to the beast mountain without bodyguards.
Just when she was about to give up, she saw someone.
She became hopeful. She promised herself that she would reward that person, whatever that person wanted if he helped her.
She started screaming for help but when she saw that he was a mortal, her hope broke.
Although she did not scream loudly and for long, her hopeful voice reached Qiao Yang's ears.
He turned around and saw a tall, chubby woman running towards him with a hopeless face.
He wanted to help her but when he saw the cultivation of the people behind her, he started doubting.
Out of the 4 men, 3 of them had Qi Foundation realm-intermediate(5) and the last one had Qi Foundation realm-intermediate(7).
Although he was not close, he could still hear them.
"Boss! That miss is going towards that weird-looking guy...Maybe they have.....a relation", one of the Qi Foundation realm-intermediate(5)cultivators said while panting hard.
Another Qi Foundation realm-intermediate(5) cultivator said, "If they have a relation.....hasn't he seen us.....he will surely complain....."
The Qi Foundation realm-intermediate(7) cultivator sneered and said, "Let's kill that bastard, anyway...he is nothing but mortal."
All the men sneered and took their weapons. 3 of them had sabers while the "boss" had a sword.
Qiao Yang looked at their weapons before flaring up.
'They dare look down at me, I show them what the thing about mech is cool', Qiao Yang sneered.
He equipped the ghost sniper and started aiming at one of the Qi Foundation realm-intermediate(5) cultivators. He took a deep breath. He inhaled and exhaled and increase the firepower to the maximum. Although he looked down upon them, he dared not take them lightly. Then he pressed the trigger.
Whoosh~
Qin Yue'er only saw a flash before she turned around to see...
The man had a hole in the middle of his head.
Blood leaked out of it like a river.
Pieces of burned flesh lay behind him.
The man who stunned and had one second of feeling regret before he died and fell down.
Everyone stopped.
The boss and his 2 subordinates, Qin Yue'er and even Qiao Yang had a look of shock.
Time seems to have stopped and everyone froze.

Qiao Yang, who was frozen, suddenly had a look of ecstasy.
He felt a power in his body. Power so great that he felt he could break the sky and escape.
He couldn't help smile through the whole process.

Qiao Yang let out a laugh.
He laughed like a madman.
Everyone looked at him with shock and only shock.
'Wasn't he a mortal right now.....HOW DID HE BECOME A CULTIVATOR IN A SECOND?!!!!!'
The boss's face had a look of horror.
'Did he hide his cultivation realm right now? Maybe he is an expert!', Qin Yue'er had a look of awe and shock.
Hope returned to her face and now she was more confident.
No one noticed that Qin Yue'er eyes shone like a sun and something inside her broke free.
