Chapter 2: Cha 2 Getting Away
Emily was still in a trance thinking about her parents and everything that took place but was brought back to reality when she felt someone touch her it was a very close friend to her mother and her class teacher when she looked up towards her direction uncontrollable tears ran down her cheeks she stood up and ran quickly towards her direction and gave her a very warm embrace though she was still covered in blood Miss Sarah received her with an open heart and with tears in her eyes tried to comfort Emily after comforting themselves she told Emily to clean up her self that she would be staying at her place that night Emily didn't hesitate and ran upstairs to grab some things and have a bath when she came out of the bathroom she putted on her most simple clothes and left the house when she got out of the house she found her mom's friend standing close to the car she crossed the road and entered into the car the engine was started and they both left for her teacher's place when they arrived she was lead into the two room apartment where her teacher lived with her husband and two kids Emily was told to stay with the kids for that night that she would be moved to a better place the next morning emi was surprised about what she heard she didn't want to be moved to another place she didn't want to go to an orphanage home she wasn't ready to be in an orphanage she was brought back when she heard her friend Ella call out her name she looked up at her with a forceful smile on her face she was trying to hide her pain from her very close friend Ella ran towards her and gave her a very big and warm hug she was very happy to see that her best friend was safe Ella took Emily into the room to drop her bag before dinner would be ready Ella tried all her best to comfort her friend and Emily was playing along really well which made Ella very happy after some minutes later Mrs Sarah called all of them out for dinner when they were sitted and we're already eating Mrs Sarah asked Emily if she was ok and comfortable Emily responded by just a slight nod of her head and a very weak smile on her face after that they all ate silently and went to bed
That night Emily couldn't sleep she was scared of having nightmares about her parents as she sat up straight in bed in recalled what Mrs Sarah said Emily just wanted to live a normal life again she just wanted to be loved and cared for but she knew that would never happen in an orphanage home that was located in S city they were not much but their report were all the same there was no fun at all she had to find a way to leave without hurting anybody especially her teacher and her best friend but if she leaves she would have to let go of her education and schooling it would really be difficult but her mind was fixed she would rather forfeit her education than suffer alot among people she didn't know at all in order not to hurt anyone she decided to write a note telling them not to bother about her with a piece of paper in one hand and a pen in the other Emily couldn't figure out what to write down she was only 9 and an orphan what does she have to say with only two word coming to mind she decided to write down something Emily apologize for her action and told them not to be bothered about her that she would be safe and fine she asked for their forgiveness and left the short not on the center table grabbing her bag she left the house through the window when she found a safe place for landing she jumped out through the window she didn't landed as she expected and she brused her knee she wanted to cry out due to the pain but had to bear all of that so she wouldn't be caught she stood up carefully with the help of a wooden fence jumping over the fence she made her way into the dark and lonely street of S city.
