Chapter 3: school

Aaron was sitting on a small bed in his room.

It wasn't really his room, it was his three: Aaron, Benjamin and David, the three brothers shared the same room.

He took a notebook and wrote down everything he understood so far.

1. He had reincarnated in another world.

A world that was strange, as well as familiar to him.

It was not a medieval world, if not a modern one.

It was not a world of swords and magic, but it was a fact that he was in another world.

At this time he was in Flickword City, which was both part of Arkam County, and part of one of the many states in the country called Sunzer.

This type of organization reminded the United States of North America a lot from his world.

This was all that he had been able to understand of this world thanks to some books that he came to find in the room.

2. The former occupant of this body was a demon.

Not literally of course, if so, they would have already burned him at the stake, like witches.

What he was referring to is that he is a demon in human flesh. There was no living inhabitant in this city, that he had not suffered under his frequent jokes and tricks.

His fame was such that he was also known at the county level and his name was well learned by public security forces. Every time he went in and out of any establishment he was constantly watched. Even when he had to get in and out of the city they had to go through extra procedures, thanks to him.

The first question that came to Aaron's head when learning all this was: how was it that being so bad, he was not in a jail or at least in a juvenile hall?

The answer was simple: Aaron was an evil genius !!

Every one of his actions and antics was finely planned and performed to perfection. On top of all that, all under the legal limit, add that to the fact that he had never left evidence.

According to what he heard from Ben, Aaron even had a backup plan, learning various secrets of certain people with power.

It was a living nightmare, which had caused many people nightmares.

One thing that greatly surprised him was that his name featured brilliantly in many of the new laws that had been passed in the county.

The day after the referral from the hospital, the entire city knew of his situation and celebrated him accordingly. It was said to be the largest party held in the city in 24 years.

Even the mayor attended.

The strange thing was that the reason for the party: Aaron.

He wasn't invited !!

His whole family went to the celebration and they brought him some cake, which he had to settle for.

Another thing that puzzled him a lot is technology.

There were cars, televisions, weapons, albeit low-caliber, as he came to see from the officers that day. But until now he had not been able to find a computer. When he asked Ben, he said they were very expensive and only high society had it.

As he said before: this world is very similar as well as different from the world before him.

Today would be his first day of school since the accident. It would also be one of the last, though, as graduation approached.

Something that for some reason mortified his parents.

At breakfast Aaron concentrated exclusively on his pancakes, thinking at the same time about what school would be like in this world.

"He feels strange." He muttered wall.

"That?" Aaron asked as he took a sip of his orange juice.

"The tranquility!" David replied with his tender face in his direction.

Seeing Aaron's confusion, Ben explained: "If it was you, I was past, or you started a food fight, or you started a fight with Mom."

Aaron nearly choked on his juice and had to cough for a long time to make it go away, earning the laughter of everyone at the table.

"Although it feels strange, it doesn't feel bad." Wall mumbled as he gave Luisa a kiss and left for work.

Aaron searched for the least worn clothes he could find in his wardrobe and put them on.

Apparently no uniform was required at this school.

Although never in his previous life did he think to say it:

Today was his first day of school and he was excited.

The three brothers walked to school, as it was not far from his house.

From time to time David entertained himself with whatever insects or animals he encountered along the way, but he was quickly reprimanded by Benjamin.

Now with a David holding Aaron and Ben's hands, they quietly continued on their way.

Although David did not stop looking around with curiosity. It seemed like he was the world traveler and not Aaron.

Coming to school was a disappointment for Aaron, it was an ordinary school. There was nothing that made her special to the others.

Well there was.

When Aaron got to school they all fell silent and stared at him.

After a few seconds they all gathered into small groups and began to murmur as they watched him.

"Don't pay attention to them." Ben had an uncomfortable expression from being watched by so many people, but he still smiled at him and tried to reassure him.

'He's very mature and smart for his age' Aaron thought and nodded.

He looked for his classroom for a while, when he found him the same situation happened as in the courtyard.

They all shut up and turned to see him!

Trying to fight his discomfort, Aaron sat down in the first seat he found and pulled the books out of him.

When he opened the notebook, the first thing he wrote was the date of the day.
