Chapter 7: The Dragon Blacksmith System 6!
The dark and deep voice sounded behind me as I felt a strong pressure pushing me down. My legs felt heavy, and even the air in the 'room' was slowly getting thin.
I slowly turned, and I was shocked...
In the beginning, I haven't realized it, but in the first moment when I turned around, two lizard-like eyes stared at me.
The eyes were fiery and furious looking inside them. I felt like hatred and anger have filled these eyes, but I also felt comfort and safety. The pressure I felt almost disappeared as I got closer to the eyes.
And as I got closer, my heart beat faster, and the closer I got, the more was revealed...
And in less than a second, a giant dragon was in front of me. The Dragon was laying on the ground and had chained on his whole body; its tail was at least 20 meters long, and the black scales on its body were shining just like sun rays would be shining on it.
Its giant body was at least hundreds of meters big, and its wings had a span of at least 200 meters.
Looking at the giant Dragon for a while, I then finally opened my mouth and asked:
"N-Not worthy ?"
The Dragon then stood up, and as he did, the chains made an awful sound.
"No. Not yet." The Dragon replied with the same deep voice, making me feel like a little child.
"W-Why ? Is there any requierement for me to touch the anvil and the hammer ?" I asked with a curious face.
Of course, I knew it had to be special since the Dragon said I wasn't 'Worthy' of it. So I decided not to ask what's so special about the equipment and just to ask what the requirements would be since the Dragon said that I am not 'Worthy.'
"Because of your emotions." The Dragon simply answered, and as I heard it, I got confused.
I wasn't worthy because of my emotions? However, I then opened my mouth and asked respectfully.
"I- My emotions? Why shouldnt i be worthy just because of my emotions." Expecting an answer, the Dragon then smirked and answered.
"You dont understand it yet."
I then shook my head; confused, I asked:
"What..?"
"Zane Crusten...Hm? He has chosen a good successor." The Dragon replied when his eyes then began to shine, and I asked again.
"Successor of whom?"
The Dragon then shook his head and replied with a mocking voice.
"I may be the one who has the chains on his body but you have those chains right there" Saying this, he pointed at my heart, and as he did, I felt like something was stabbing my heart. Looking down slowly, I saw how my white shirt was turning red, and I slowly lost my consciousness.
"We shall see again, my old friend." The voice of the Dragon then sounded in my head as I fully lost my consciousness.
Waking up, I found myself standing in front of a gigantic door. On the door, four creatures were engraved, a tiger, a phoenix, a tortoise, and a monkey.
I then opened the door, and as I did, I felt like a thousand lightning bolts struck my body. Slowly many pictures run through my mind.
'A table... Thousands of deaths... A gate... Four other people...'
The pictures were different and had no context. No matter how I looked at them, they made no sense. It was like looking at several puzzle parts of different puzzles.
On the first memory (picture), I saw four people sitting on a big table, each wielding a different weapon and wearing formidable armor.
In the second memory, I saw thousands of dead people, children, women, and men. They were not just dead, no... They were massacred...
But before I could get any disgusted, another picture was running through my mind. This time it was a monstrous gate, having no color nor anything else. It was a plain gate.
And then the last picture, four people, one tall, muscular man with a long beard, one woman with a beautiful body shape, a short but muscular man wielding an ax, and at least an older man wearing a dark coat.
However, as I recovered from this shock, I found myself back in my apartment as several system messages popped up in front of my body.
