Chapter 100: Long Jie's angry peacock

Today, when I tasted her lips,

I don't taste love, lust, or passion

Instead, I tasted home and solace ;

The solace that I lost years ago

And home I never had.

The next day. 

The rays of the morning sun fell on her slumbering form, she placed one of her hands on her eyes to block the blinding light, and with another, she scoured for the man lying next to her. She jolted up awake when her hand touched the empty cold sheets. 

The curtains were pulled out and, no one except for Long Jie was aware of how much she despised waking up to blinding sun. He had intentionally drawn out the curtains just like the sun had purposely chosen east of the earth to rise.  But where he was now? 

For the last few days, he had been waking and sleeping with him. Did she mention he had that creepy habit of staring at her sleeping form?
