Chapter 109: C: Trapped

Rafaela eyed the place in the ceiling where the lift had entered the compartment above her. Frederick had only seemed to glare at her consideringly for a moment while continuing to rise, and although this wasn't the first time he had gone up there, this was definitely the longest he had stayed.

She had stopped granting any privacy to the possessions of the Dragon, since his attack while she had been sleeping. She had thoroughly gone through everything held within the smaller curved compartments that rimmed the square room she was imprisoned in. Every piece of clothing, every tool and oddity kept within the many drawers.
