Chapter 1: (Hadie and Mal. )
Chapter one:
Hadie! A fourteen year old Evie called out as she entered Hadie's home, along with Mal, Carlos; and Jay. No response came. Hadie? Jay called out, as the four started to look for him. Hadie! Mal exclaimed, concerned as she opened the door to Hadie's bedroom, seeing him crying. Soon, the others came in too,and grew concerned as well. What's wrong? Carlos asked. Hadie just continued crying, and the four friends just shared a look.
Come on, Jay said, pulling him up, Mal wrapping an arm around his shoulder. They all walked to their loft, Carlos throwing a rock at the Caution! Flying rocks sign, causing the door to open. Once upstairs, Mal led Hadie to a couch, and they sat down. Evie on his other side. And Hadie told them what happened.
His mom had passed away during the night.
Those news made Evie give Hadie the biggest hug possible. They understood why Hadie was completely broken. Hadie's mother Maleficent was the only family he had, after Hades left them since he was a baby.
I don't want to go back. Hadie's cried through the tears. You shouldn't have too. Carlos told him, giving the other three a look, and they all nodded in agreement. Come and stay here, with us. We have room. Evie said.
Are you sure? Hadie asked.
We wouldn't have asked you if we weren't okay with it. Jay said. Hadie smiled.
We'll help you get your things, and then you can come here and stay with us. Mal said.
