Chapter 8: Did they say cranel?.
The moment I woke up was when I realised I was in heaven, no seriously check out these babes, the only fact that each and every one of them could snap me like a twig and that my 5 year old self was more embarrassed from the attention then aroused was what kept me sane. For the most part at least.
First of all I was not in my house, but on alfia's bed. Holy shit. Calm down boy, calm down. I can hear the male members of there familia crying tears of blood in jealousy, hehehe, I am awesome and I know it. When I woke up, I was greeted by 5 members of hera familia who were looking after me on empress as well as alfia's order, and there was one fact.
I had been sleeping for 3 days straight, damn a single S rank spell did this to me, I have titles that increase my stats and stamina as well as my skills with sword but nothing for the mana, and then I realized that many of S rank skills are powered by mind, as an substitute for stuff like magi, Chakra, cursed energy, etc. This meant unless I am level 3 max it is only going to 1 shot bye bye, for me. I need to be at least level 5 max to freely use it, or some how get a title to increase it. There was one S rank skill [mana manipulation] which converts the mind requirement to mana, increases my mana capacity, takes mana from surrounding, and reduces the mind cost for complicated stuff.
The members thanked me for helping there familia member and went to bring alfia and others, currently alfia was picking a fight with every strong adventurer to test her limits after being healed,
I had done it, this will change the story. Alfia unhindered by her disease will become stronger than empress in no time, know that I healed there is no way I can just refuse healing meteria, bell's mother. This will change the whole reason Bell will become an adventurer, but it doesn't matter, most of the major incidents when bell arrives at orario doesn't change, the thing that will change it all is the survival of zeus and hera familia, I doubt a completely healed alfia will change the outcome of there battle with the black dragon. They didn't stand a chance against the monster before, a healed alfia might be strong but far from Albert waldenstein level.
There was a mirror in the room as I was alone there, I picked myself up and walked towards it. Standing in front I took a good look at myself, I have been so focused on getting stronger that I haven't even seen how much I changed, I always saw myself in reflections and while bathing but never truly took a moment to get all the changes down.
I looked at my hands, there were white, a little pale due to sleeping for 3 days without food, my hair, was long, I haven't had an hair cut since the monster break, long white hair, reaching my shoulders were visible on the mirror, I had blond hair on earth, I walked closer, took a good look at my face, sea blue eyes. They were pretty, I envied myself for such good looks, or I envied Lionard of this world.
Suddenly the door opened revealing aflia, empress and few more members of hera familia, aflia suddenly hugged me, saying thank you again and again. Empress, whose actual name was oliva, thanked me for helping there familia member.
Alfia then stopped, and looked at me, and with a shaking voice asked me if I could heal her sister too, I think she is thinking that the spell consumes my life force or something as it was so effective.
"ok" I replied with my usual single syllable answer, short, simple and efficient.
She was a little shocked at how easy it was me convince me to use the same spell that knocked me out for 3 days, as I thawed her doubts with
"I promised" I have her a thumbs up, one liner were where I shine, she thought for a second and then remembered the promise she had me make, at that time she didn't think much about it but now, as tears again flooded her eyes and she went for another round of hugging, and I used my little 5 year old hands to comfort her. It was a wholesome scene to watch as the on looker in the room cooed,
After a little while we left the room and at the entrance of the Inn, shiva was waiting for me. I tried explaining him why I did what I did, but he just ruffled my hair and said I could do whatever I wanted he will support me, damn this guy is making me cry.
We arrived at an tavern, where I wolfed down the food like there was no tomorrow, after that I joined the other adventurers at the entrance, as a thank you, hera familia decided to look after me as we went after the behemoth. Shiva and hermes along with me were travelled with the hermes familia, strangely alfia wanted me travel with her, but I doubt I will be able to travel with a caravan full of beautiful ladies, my 20 year old virgin mind won't be able to take the torture.
After just two days travel we arrived at the point it was cliff like place, I walked with my God as well hermes and my more adventurers, beyond the cliff, there was a forest, or what used to be a forest it was dead now, every single tree had no leafs and had swirled up due the poison and it was not a good sight,
And at the centre was the culprit behemoth, it looked like a plateau form here,
captain of hermes familia explained that beyond this point the poison will start effect the people, everyone without abnormal resistance will be wearing anti poison magic items, one of the reason they didn't want me here, they only had a few of those. I had to wear a pendent to save my ass for the poison.
After an hour of preparation, it was still early morning as everyone mounted the attack, a thunderous roar rang throughout the region, I am willing to bet the people at the town will be able to hear it. Fuck I thinking about taking this thing solo, that's plain suicide.
The battle was as legendary as they described it, it was a free for all buffet for lower levels as there job was to keep chipping at it, keep it annoyed, while the high level worked together to bring it down.
I looked the screen in front me know I only had around 150,000SP as I brought an A rank spell [inferno] the spell will create a fire Strom at the users position, chant less. It is absolutely deadly up close in person and another A rank skill to get up close in person to the behemoth, [flash step] which gives me ludicrous amount of speed for a few seconds but also consumes an equally ludicrous amount of mind hence forth my strategy.
I ran towards behemoth for it's left side with an spear in hand, it was cheap one since I will not be coming back to retrieve it, if it survives this. Few adventurers watched in curiosity as to what I will do, as I suddenly vanished for there sight,

alfia who was keeping an eye on me saw me disappear as my speed increased to impossible degree, she was still able to me, as I suddenly in front of its eye, this things eye was bigger than house, as I plunged my spear in it's eye
[inferno].. As I covered in flames and so was it's eyes, it roared in pain,
before it could close it, before I was crushed by it's eyelid I activated [flash step] again and jumped as far away as possible, I only had a silver of mind remaining as I was barely standing, my legs hurt as I pushed them at there absolute limit,
Zard took out it's other eye easily. After 10 minutes of more fighting, it collapsed on the ground, dead. As cheers started erupting from everyone, one of the three grand quest was completed.
After that celebrating in the tents we left for town. Back it was over quite quickly, well I didn't had to do much, the travel back wasn't very interesting aside from one little thing, the members of zeus familia were worrying about their god, not for his health but the fact that he will do something stupid and become target of every women in the city but then they said it was worse that Jason was staying with him. Jason was apparently a level 4 member staying in orario to protect there God but also a pervert on the same level as zeus, he will join the fight against the most dangerous monster, the black dragon in which the entirety of both the familias will participate. Both what intrigued me was when he said his full name, Jason, Jason Cranel.
Now I understand how bell's father dodged the entire hera familia and make out with meteria, the familia was mostly gone. After reaching the city and them packing up, it was time for goodbye, alfia decided that they will come back to take me to her sister after defeating the black dragon. I frowned at the statement, because I knew they didn't stood a chance against it, but I didn't say anything, it was the ideal scenario for me, most of the people who know about me will die there, the remainings word will become nothing but rumours, alfia and zard were the only ones who survived the fight according to the story, it might change.
A month passed after the fight with behemoth, the reward was still there, any one S rank skill for free. I had not chosen any for the time being, not until the conclusion of the grand quests is here, after weeks a messenger came from hermes familia, saying that they had managed to slay leviathan near melon and sealed the second dungeon using it's bones. And the excavation team finally managed to take out behemoth's crystal which zard ate a small piece of to level up and he did but zard was also poisoned in the process, and apparently alfia was also able to level up 7. As
I too decided to level up to level 3. Currently I had around 200,000SP and any one S class skill for my choosing, the messenger wanted to bring me to there camp near the western region of the continent where the entirety of the two great familias were residing even meteria, they wanted to heal every member before mounting the attack, even zeus and hera were there, me and my God shiva both decided to go to the place.
I celebrated my birthday with my friends and auntie miliam and uncle Harry and finally my god. They all congratulated me.
