Adrian looked at the sickle emblem. "This is?" he asked.
[This is like a trump card for all players in Progress. The emblem is easy to obtain but not easy to use] Future spoke and after that, the sickle emblem disappeared.

Adrian exited the notification option and there was a new option in the status menu. That option was for the emblem Adrian got. He chose that menu and the picture of his sickle emblem was on that list.

"I don't even have 100 energy points, so, how can I charge this emblem?" Adrian asked.

Adrian exited the emblem option and checked on the new skill he got.

"Oo, okay," Adrian understood. All he needed to do was collected whatever plants or animals he found and their data would automatically enter the encyclopedia.
Adrian checked his storage and there was nothing inside. The storage space he got was 1m cubics but as his level increased, the storage space would increase too.
Adrian checked his mission and he needed to go to the Green Orchid Settlement. He checked the map and other than his position, a small part around him and the position of the Green Orchid Settlement, everything was black.
'So, this is the kind of map where more will be revealed if I pass through or explore the area,' Adrian thought. 'How far are the Green Orchid Settlement and me?' Adrian wondered.

Adrian followed Future's tip and touched on the Green Orchid Settlement. He saw the estimation and his eyes wide opened.
"5 DAYS!!" Adrian was shocked. "Do I need to walk five days to arrive there?" He thought that it will be around a few hours but it was a few days.
[5 days in-game time. It will take about five hours in real-time. The time scale for the game is different from real-time. 1 hour in real-time equals 1 day inside the game. That is why it is bright now when it is supposed to be midnight] Future explained.

Suddenly, Adrian's chat option rang and he saw that Ceylon and Keith were calling him at the same time. He picked up the call and two screens appeared showing the duo's face.
"Bro, where are you?" Keith asked.
"I am west of Green Orchid Settlement," Adrian replied. "You guys?" he asked back.
"South," Ceylon answered.
"North for me… Why are all of us so far apart from each other?" Keith sighed.
"How far are you guys from the settlement?" Adrian asked.
"5 days," both of them spoke at the same time.
"Me too. It will be impossible to meet each other now. So, let's meet at the settlement," Adrian spoke.
"Sure. Let's create a group chat and any new info you guys have, please share it with me," Keith suggested.
"Duh~ obviously we will have a group chat. We are a team in this game," Ceylon spoke.
"Then, let's hang up and start moving. I don't think we can play much longer and try to go as far as possible," Adrian reminded them.
"Okay, see you guys in five days," Keith spoke.
"… We will see each other in a few hours, idiot," Ceylon spoke before he hung up.
"That guy!" Keith was angry but he hung up too.
"My new friends are a bit too energetic," Adrian smiled. He exited the menu and walked east to the Green Orchid Settlement.
As Adrian was walking, he thought, "I need to collect the plants to increase the data but my storage will not be enough for them. Hmm… I should focus on fruits, vegetables, and herbs," Adrian decided to collect these.
In Progress, everyone could appraise anything they found but the only data they would get was the name of the target, grade, and its level. This appraisal did not cost any energy so, the players could recklessly appraise anything they wanted without worrying.
Adrian appraised whatever he could see and when he found fruits, vegetables, and herbs, he would collect them all. Since he was in a forest, there were a lot of wild fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
"All of them are level 1. I guess this is the level 1 area," All of the flora that Adrian appraised was level 1. None of them were level 2 and above.
"This travel will not be dangerous," Adrian spoke as he picked up the apples from the apple tree. While he was busy picking up the apples from the shallow tree, a jelly-like creature was slowly coming towards him.

Adrian continued picking more of the red apples. Since they could recover his energy, he decided to collect more of them.
While Adrian was busy with the red apples, suddenly, something hit him from behind.
"!!!" Adrian was surprised and he was pushed forward and hit the tree.

Adrian got up and looked behind him immediately and saw the enemy that hit him. It was a cute white slime. Adrian took out the farming sickle and ready to battle the slime. At the same time, he appraised the white slime.

'Slime is grade C? Then, grade C is the weakest monster?' Adrian thought.
The white slime bounced and tried to tackle Adrian. Even so, the white slime was too slow and with Adrian's 8 points dexterity, it was easy to dodge the tackle.
Adrian did not stay idle and he slashed the white slime with his farming sickle.

Adrian was surprised but then, he remembered that slime usually had physical resistance and the physical attack was useless towards them.
Even so, there was a way to inflict physical damage to the slime and that was by attacking the slime's core. Be that as it may, Adrian did not see the core inside the white slime's transparent body.
'No core with physical resistance. Then, only energy-based attack can damage it but I don't know any offensive skill that uses the energy,' thought Adrian while he continued dodging the slime's tackle.
[All monsters in Progress have a core] Suddenly, Future gave a tip to Adrian.
'Huh? This slime has a core?' Adrian did not see it. 'Is it too tiny to see with the naked eye? Then, what is the point of that tip?'
Adrian slashed the white slime again but same as before, there was no damage. Since Adrian had attacked the white slime twice, his energy was used by 2 points. Not only that but he was walking for a while earlier and even that lower his energy too.
Even so, he had enough energy to continue attacking the white slime, and thus, he did the third slash, fourth and fifth. However, no matter what he did, the slime received zero damage.
The slime tackled Adrian one more time and as usual, he easily dodged the attack but the slime suddenly turned its body midair towards Adrian and opened its mouth.
Once the white slime opened its mouth, it shot a powerful slime liquid at Adrian. Adrian wanted to evade but they were too close to each other and the slime shot was too fast for him to dodge.
The slime shot hit Adrian's stomach and he was sent flying for a few meters before he was stopped by a tree.

Adrian got up immediately and he decided to escape. He knew he stood no chance against the slime. However, another slime shot headed towards him and hit him sending him flying another meter.

"I need to get out of here fast!" Adrian panicked. However, before he could escape, another slime shot appeared but this time from a different direction, and hit him again.

"How can it move that fast?" Adrian was confused because he was 100% sure that the white slime he fought was in a different direction before he saw three more white slimes came out of the bushes.
"!!!" The white slimes shot a few more slime shots and two of them hit Adrian and his health was depleted to 0 immediately and he was forced to log out.
Adrian opened his eyes and got up from his bed. "I lost…" he looked around at Ceylon and Keith and both of them sat quietly on the bed.
They both saw Adrian got up and spoke at the same time, "Slime?"
"…" Adrian could guess that they were ousted by slimes too.
