Chapter 22: Shaak Ti Believes!

Xytan headed over toward the lunchroom, and as expected, there was nothing but older Younglings. Without saying anything to anyone, he got in line and waited for his turn. Once the droid saw him again, it wondered why this Youngling was always eating with the older Younglings.

It wasn't against the rules or anything, so it didn't ask and gave Xytan his food. He sat in the same place and ate to himself; he could be seen looking around often. Some people had already seen Xytan around here before, so no one thought he was out of the ordinary.

Some people gaze at Xytan strangely, it wasn't because of his age or anything. This was because of the way he was eating, he was stuffing food in his mouth like he was starved to death! Xytan gulped down a large bottle of water.

"I've never seen anyone eat like that." Some whispers could be heard. They found his way of eating funny, while some had to move away because of it. Xytan didn't pay attention to these things, he just ate to himself.

Afterward, he quickly left the lunchroom and back to his room. Once he arrived at his door, he saw a note underneath his door poking out. Xytan opened the note to see that it was from Shaak Ti, saying to report to her!

'This lady!' Xytan was speechless.

"I planned to take a little nap after eating, then I need to contact my Mandalorians for something." He needed to get Shaak Ti out of his hair for now.

With that in mind, Xytan headed towards Shaak Ti's room to 'report' to her. It was the same as usual, however, before he could knock—it opened by itself. Xytan was forcefully pulled into the room with no way of resisting by any means.

"Welcome! It's good that you came in so nicely, young fella." The last bit sounded sarcastic, as she had a clear grin across her face.

"What in the world...so forceful. I could have just walked in, you know." Xytan's face scrunched tightly, gazing at Shaak Ti like she was insane.

"It's much fun my way, now sit." Shaak Ti pointed towards a black cushioned Papasan chair.

Xytan scoffed in his heart, playing with me like that—I'm just a child. Taking a seat, he could somewhat guess what she was going to talk about.

"You knew, you knew about the hangar that was soon to be bombed. You even knew that the wrong person would be accused before the real culprit was found." Shaak Ti gazed deeply at Xytan, she was started to see the light more clearer now!

"I told you, but no one believes the little kid." Xytan sighed.

"I admit, I was wrong and you were right. Are the Jedi really destined to fall?" Shaak Ti muttered that last part with bitterness.

Xytan had to admit that Shaak Ti had honor, she was still willing to admit to being wrong. Mace, however, would never admit to something like that—even now.

"Yes, it will happen but there's no telling when. But when the day arrives, I'll be able to tell when the time comes." Xytan was elated that she was now believing in him.

"So you'll be able to tell when the day arises?" Shaak Ti was stunned.

"Yeah, it's like a special ability of mine. I can tell when something is going to go wrong if it is really horrible."

"Such an ability, why haven't spoken of it before? Why didn't you tell me you had such a skill?" Shaak Ti's eyebrows rose.

"With what I was telling you before, wouldn't you just think it's a lie?" Xytan, at that time, was saying some pretty strange things that were simply unbelievable to her.

"This is true." Shaak Ti nodded and returned to her neutral behavior.

"I won't be leaving the temple anytime soon, my next schedule to leave is in 3 months. This means I can hang around the temple for a bit longer before I need to head back to Geonosis."

This was perfect! Order 66 was less than 2 months away, so by then, she would still be here in the temple.

"I want to defy this fate, but it looks like it can be stopped." Shaak Ti sighed deeply.

"Well, It was over when you Jedi decided to join the war and become soldiers instead of Jedi. This is the way it was supposed to be, sorry." Xytan also sighed.

Shaak Ti's eyes widen for a moment before she returned to her deadpan expression.

"At that time, there will be people who will help us escape. You should also have those Data and Holocrons on reserve, so they don't get destroyed later." Xytan said seriously.

Shaak Ti instantly understood that this was an attack from an ultimate enemy. This meant it could be the work of that Sith Lord. Everyone in the council suspects that there's a Sith hiding behind the scene doing all of this.

They just can't figure out who. They tried to do a Midichlorian test on all of the high officials, but those officials saw this a stooping too low.

"I see. I think I'll give the Library a visit sometime later. For now, I'm your master and you'll have to go through some training per usual. Tomorrow or today, you can join the other Younglings. They're all learning how to Wall Run, it's similar to the platform training that utilizes Force Jump."

Shaak Ti wasn't sure what help Xytan was talking about, but the Jedi could fight off most enemies together. She thought.

"Oh, okay, that actually sounds pretty fun." Xytan eyes brightened and he got out of his seat, he really liked the comfortability of this chair. He took note of this nice chair for a later date, he would surely get one!

"Alright, you may go. " Shaak Ti turned and closed her eyes. Xytan exited the room and headed back towards his room. This would up his chances of survival by so much with Shaak Ti now having faith in him.

Once Xytan was in his room, he called over A-1.

"I need you to connected me to the Mandalorian Leader, now." Xytan sat on his bed.

He had suddenly remembered something, there was the Green Jedi on Corellia. In fact, if the Inquisitor hadn't made it in time, they would have recruited Xytan. The Green Jedi minded their own business and didn't bother with this Jedi Order. Everything they did was within their system and mainly things dealing with Corellia.

However, there were a total of 20 Green Jedi that were participating in this war with the republic. These Green Jedi were an exception and wanted to help their Jedi brothers and sisters with this war.

Unfortunately, the Green Jedi won't escape Order 66 either. They will be attacked later, but not as fast as the Republic Jedi. It would be bad if his parents were caught up in all of that. Despite not meeting them, he still cared about them. Parents of kids that the Jedi had taken would usually send mail to their children, but the Jedi Order would never show them these things.

Soon, the line reached the Mandalorian Leader.

"Sir, what can I do for you?" The Mandalorian Leader asked.

"Send someone to Coruscant to meet up with a Jedi I'm sending over. This Jedi's tasks will be to warn the Green Jedi."

"The Jedi's first task will be to buy Kyber Crystals off the black market, which you will accompany him in doing. Continue with bounty hunting, but make sure 8 of you are hunting, so you and 3 other Mandalorians will aid the Jedi"

"Okay, I'll go and brings some people to meet up with this Jedi. Where do we meet with the Jedi?" asked the Leader.

"In the same alleyway from back then, he'll be there. You guys message me when you get there, so I can send him over." Xytan nodded.

"Okay, we'll be sure to let you know once we arrive!" The Mandalorian Leader saluted before Xytan ended the call.

"I need as many people as possible to fight against the Imperial Empire." This would give him assurance. Xytan also thought about his parents there, he hadn't been able to officially meet them but he has seen them before.

Xytan wanted to, directly and indirectly, annoy the Empire as much as he could. He mainly wanted them to be occupied with other things and factions, rather than what he was trying to do.

"Hmm, maybe I should come up with my own group, similar to how Revan's followers were formed. They were called Revanites, while mine can be called Xytanites." Blacklines appeared on his forehead at the thought, he'll wait a bit longer and see first.

Xytan wanted actual sleep, not knock-out sleep. If that's what you would call something like that. Taking off his robes, he got into bed and slowly drifted off.

Today was actually the weekend, so there was no school. Tomorrow could be considered a Sunday, so there was no school for tomorrow either. Yet, despite this, Younglings still went to train themselves in that room.

Xytan stayed asleep until the next day, however, he woke up much earlier than ever. Xytan stretched and yawned before getting out of his bed. As usual, he did his morning routine before leaving for the cafeteria.

There was hardly anyone here, and the ones that were here were grown Jedi Knights and Masters! They didn't get in line to get their food, they sat at their tables first and would go up after someone had gotten their food.

Some were a little stunned to see Xytan but they didn't think it was out of the ordinary. All of them told him to go get his food first. Xytan liked this, the minute he walked in he was able to be served breakfast. This was the first time he was ever able to eat breakfast since coming here because he wasn't an early bird.

Xytan was spoken to a lot by these Jedi Knights and Masters. They talked to him more than any group he ever conversed with. They asked him how his training was, they asked how old he was. There were a lot of questions and a lot of advice from these older men and women.

After eating, he didn't leave right away and talked to the older Jedi for a bit. There weren't many people here to begin with, so it wasn't a problem for him. Xytan just talked about Technique like abilities that could help him phase through walls and invisibility.

They looked at each other with an unknown and indescribable look in their eyes. One Jedi Master mentioned that they didn't know such a Technique. However, there was a Jedi that did, they called her the Dark Woman.

She knew the Technique called Phase or Force Phase, whatever you wished to call it. Xytan was very interested in learning new things. Those Sith Techniques from before were mostly in Gray, indicating that he couldn't learn them.

Xytan knew he needed to study the ways of the Sith a bit more before being qualified to use their Techniques efficiently. He left after they told him about this woman, but he didn't want to contact this woman, anyway.

"I guess I better go try out that obstacle course. That Wall Walking sounds fun, like some matrix-type of stuff." Xytan hurried over, it was still early in the morning, so this was the best time to do it.
