Chapter 2: First meeting
Mo Jun closed his eyes and recalled the past with a peaceful smile. In 2017, at 8:30 in the night, in the surroundings of Z.A.I.N UNIVERSITY, a girl walked through the road while listening to music. She walked with a peaceful smile, but her tranquility turned into panic when she realized she was being followed by four individuals. She quickened her pace, walking as fast as she could. The sky was very dark, and there was no one around.
At that moment, she thought to herself, "Why did I come out of my room? I should have stayed in my room with my roommates, enjoying Netflix." As she pondered this, someone walked in front of her. She ran towards that person and held his hand tightly in panic.
The boy tried to free his hand, but she winked at him, as if to convey a plea for help. Mo Jun saw her face; she had a fair skin tone and good facial features, looking like a movie actress. Mo Jun had seen her before today.
Mo Jun asked her, "Where do you need to go? Come with me." She replied with a pleading expression, "Okay."
"Where are you staying?" Mo Jun inquired.
"I am staying on the west side of Z.A.I.N University. I am Shen Yu. What's your name?"
"Are you a model?" Shen Yu asked, looking at Mo Jun.
"Huh?" Mo Jun replied. "You look like a model. I think I saw you in some fashion magazine."
"No chance," Mo Jun replied.
"The gang must be following you because you are more handsome than me," Shen Yu remarked.
"I am a man; why would they follow me?"
"If you say a single word until you reach your room, I will call them back to follow you." Mo jun warned her.
"No, no. I'll zip my mouth," Shen yu assured him.
"Why are you like this?" Shen Yu asked.
"Like what?"
"Like someone who has lost a loved one. If you speak a single word..."
Shen Yu put a finger to her lips, indicating silence.
