Chapter 9: Chapter 9 *Raelin
As I got out to my bed I walk to the bathroom and take a shower. I was in the middle of soaping my body when Faerien mind links me that Xavier is here and his on his way to my room. I quickly finished my shower and dried up. I just wrapped my towel around me and head out.
My breath hitched seeing my mate is in the middle of the room and the way he's wolf looked at me with lust turns me on. He must have smelled my arousal because he came towards me and pinned me on the wall.
"Mine." He lifted me up as my long legs wrapped around his waist.
I gasped in pain as I felt his teeth sink into my delicate skin piercing his sharp teeth into my neck that was near into my wounded shoulder. Afterwards, the pain is replaced with a feeling of euphoria. I moaned and he pulled back licking the mark. His eyes faded back into his dark brown eyes. He looked down at my neck with guilt.
"I'm so sorry! I-I di-didn't mean to mark you. I'm so sorry. I wanted it to be special. I want-"
"Shhhhh!" I said hushing him using my index finger because I know he can control his wolf but because of my life force that was inside of him had made them loss control resulting him to mark me.
"I'm not mad at you trust me I know you must have control over your wolf but maybe he saw me with only a towel and that you also are distracted that made him took over and mark me.
Maybe. He says not fully trusting of what I had said, which I don’t mind because Alpha’s do have control over their wolf.
Now could you tell me why you are here?" Changing the subject.
"Oh well, uhm, I came here to asked you if you want to go out with me for breakfast. And me and Danger wants to spend time with you today. You know getting to know each other."
"Okay, we can go but can you put me down first, so I can put on some clothes." I said while he growled seeing me just in a towel.
"Of course." He says and he let me down.
"Thank you."
I went into my walk-in closet, and I caught my appearance in the mirror. I smiled at my mate’s mark. It's a wolf head on a crescent moon combined with nature and boho elements. But I was shocked that my wounds that the rouge bite are already healed but the stitches was still intact.
I traced my finger over the mark, and I shivered at the feeling but in a good way. I put on my clothes and brush my hair. I walk back to my room, and I saw Xavier sitting at the couch.
"Let's go?" I asked as he sat up on the couch.
I took my pouch, and I felt the sparks when I grabbed Xavier's hand as I pulled him out of the room. We went down the stairs and I saw the girls at the doorway as they eyed us suspiciously.
"Did he mark you already?" Faerien asked in the mind link.
"Yeah, his wolf took over or maybe my life force did the doing." I said through the mind link and smiled at her sheepishly.
"Well then, good luck controlling your possessive and overprotective Alpha mate." She mind links as she wiggle her eyebrows.
"Have fun you two lovebirds." The twins shout.
I felt my cheeks heat up and Xavier chuckles beside me.
"We will." He says as we went outside and got into his car.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Are you up for pancakes?" He asked.
"I love pancakes." I said with excitement.
"Great! There's a diner at the center of the town that always serves a delicious pancake."
"Yes, can't wait."
"What do you like to do before, when you’re not modeling?" He asked starting a conversation.
"Hmmm, let's see I love to ride racing cars. I like swimming. And if I have time I can always go to the gym. How about you what do you like to do besides leading the pack."
"It’s nothing much. I just enjoy running with my wolf form and a little bit of training."
"That's nice. Hey, can I ride your wolf someday?"
"Of course. We would love too."
"Thanks."
"We're here." He speaks.
"Wait here." He quickly says before he gets out of his car and hurriedly run over to my side and opens the door for me.
I looked at him and gave him a grateful smile. He holds my hand and then leads me to the door as he opens the door for me again. I thank him and I got inside the diner. We sat down on one of the empty tables and the waiter came to us and took our orders.
"I'm not being rude or anything but how old are you anyway?" I asked in wonder while he laughed.
"I'm still 30 years old and is still young. How about you?"
"Hmmm, I think you already know. Considering the Alpha of the pack needs to know everything, you must have been sent someone to investigate me and my girls." He then gave me a guilty look.
"I'm sorry but it has to be done. Jack did investigate you and the girls while I was away. That was before I knew you were my mate."
"I guess it’s alright."
The waiter came back with our pancakes and drinks, he placed it in front of us and leave.
"So, any relatives beside Xena and the twins?"
"None, our parents have died during a car accident when we were still young."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"It’s okay, it’s been a long time ago."
I just nodded. I cut a piece of my pancakes and take a bite.
"Oh god. This is so good." I moaned.
Xavier growls lowly in front of me. I looked at him, but he coughed and look away.
He paid the food after we finished, and we made our way back to his car. As we get inside his car, he suddenly slammed his lips into mine. And I couldn't help but kiss him back, it was amazing. Having his lips into mine felt like fireworks, I felt his hunger and desperation. I pulled away and lean into his shoulder as I catch my breath.
"That was amazing." I spoke.
I looked deeply into his eyes and all I see is happiness and love making me smile.
"I love you." He bluntly says making him shocked.
I know we only seen each other for like 2 days but that’s what you get when you are a werewolf not to mention an Alpha and might I add my little life force also makes our relationship more faster than it should be which makes my mate a little bit confused in his actions.
I cupped his face and I smiled widely. I bit my bottom lip.
"I-I love you too."
His mouth form a warm smile and he pecked me on the lips before he starts the ignition and drove to the forest.
