Chapter 9: A new target
I have been resting for a few days after my evolution and enjoying the sun on my scales, which have changed slightly there are now red, blue and white veins running though each one and I must admit it looks rather pretty when I move in the sun, on another not I have been feeling some strange sensations while watching Kitty and Bun Bun fight the harpys that get to close to our little home and I don't know what to make it.
Its just like any other day my eyes are closed, and the girls are playing with each other while I pretend to be sleeping when I hear Kitty call out. "pillow fight!" I smile on the inside at her antics, so much so that you would think that she is the younger of the two for them but no she is older by a few years, I am broke out of my thought when I hear Bun Bun shout. "no Kitty don't…" she falls silent as I feel a soft impact on the side of my head, cracking open an eye I look over to see the look of shock and horror on their faces so I tilt my head down and see the pillow resting next to my head, I lift my head to place it on the pillow but three shapes catch my eyes in the distance, I stop and look harder and see two wyverns and a ship flying in formation and getting closer.
The girls see what im looking at and scramble to grab a spyglass from the pile of stuff they looted, after a moment Kitty gasps which makes me look over to her, she speaks before I need to ask. "that is the flag of the Slave traders that sold me to my last master, they deal in capturing monsters as well." I look over to them and I can see they are pointing at me and the girls and I let out a growl before asking. *where are they based?* she thinks for a bit and the face she pulls in adorable then she blurts out "the kingdoms capital but they have shops all over the kingdom" I let a full smile brake over my face as I turn to the in coming wyverns, while still looking at the incoming playthings I say *okay here is the plan you two look weak and helpless so that the slavers get of the ship while I deal with twiddle de and twiddle dum , then we free or kill the slaves on that ship and claim it as our own, then we start killing everything to do with the traders and where they are hiding* I get two nods and I move to the edge of my rock and leap off.
As I get closer to the two wyverns, I see that I am at least twice as big as them if not more I use Appraisal on them to see what I am dealing with.

I let out a snort as I lead them to one side so that the ship and pass by, once I have made a nice space for the ship to pass I turn to the wyverns and let out a roar they roar back and I can tell it's not a challenge roar but an attempt to start a mating ritual and it makes me laugh, I don't waste time and charge them they seem confused for a second but recover only for the first one to take a lightning breath to its face, which stuns it making him fall from the sky, I turn to the second and see him coming in with his claws out stretched, I snort again and hit him with the same trick and he follows his friend to the floor, I turn to see that the crew have mostly gotten of the ship so I fly back as fast as I can, when I get there I see Kitty waving a spear in front of her and Bun Bun is throwing rocks at the traders as well I smile as I get close one of the crew turns and screams which makes all the other traders turn and look at me, Kitty and Bun Bun take that chance to dive round the corner of the cave, as they disappear I unleash my ice breath but only enough to freeze the crew so that Kitty and Bun Bun can get the kills, once they come out I land and think to myself why did I do it so they get the exp and not me, the reasoning I come to is so I can have stronger pets but it doesn't sit right with me.
Once the girls deal with the people on ice, Kitty bounces over to the ship that is still docked next to the outcropping with her spear in hand and demands the rest of the crew and the slaves in the hold, after a few of the crew try to put up a fight, and Bun Bun puts and arrow or two in them they all get of the ship and kneel down in front of me and the girls, Kitty is basically humming with pride and I rub my nose in her hair because she is just to cute, when that thought pops in my head I jerk up right in shock but Kitty seems to be as shocked as me, I look over to Bun Bun who is covering her mouth and trying to hide her laughter so I nuzzle her as well.
Kitty come up with the brilliant idea to push the crew of the edge instead of blunting their weapons and it makes me laugh so mush that a puff of steam and sparks come out my nose, so Kitty and Bun Bun walk the remainder of the crew of the edge of the outcropping while singing "yar har me harties, time for ye ta walk da plank!" just then I hear two dings meaning that the wyverns that I socked have finally died.
