"Hehehe...what's wrong, kids? You're so scared that you have to rely on your pets?" the bandit said. The others snickered at us, expecting we'd shiver and shake.
"I don't have time for this. Gris, Noire, kill them all." I said.
"Oh, you really think you can--"
*CRUNCH!*
*SLASH!*
Sickening crunching sounds was heard from left and right of the hammer wielding bandit. He looks at them, but what he sees are people with heads removed violently from their torsos. The bodies stagger and wobble until they fall lifeless.

"Nothing but small fries. Come on." I said.
We continued to walk on our merry way and I see a sword with a blade painted blue. It has a shape of what it looks like is a falcion.
I scan the sword.

"Hyoran, it's yours now." I said, handing her the sword and sheath.
"More loot. Could we find more?" Hyoran asked if she could hunt down more.
"We can along the way, but we can't delay for too long." I said.
We continued walking and Hyoran got a better sword for her to strike. We kept going straight ahead of the trail that seems to lead to Valtuz, but we still have ways to go until we reach there.
{30 minutes later...}
*Grrr...*
Our stomachs began to growl as we've been walking for minutes non-stop, we'll have to find a place to stop. That is until we reached a relatively flat piece of land near a river, the river is much deeper than it was in our village under the bridge.
"We'll rest there and eat." I said.
We crossed over the river that is 5 feet wide with ease even with the luggage around my back. I think this Rank S helps a lot along with the endurance.
As soon as we crossed, I placed my backpack down and opened what Tuya made inside.
Multiple packs of food and water that could last us for weeks if not days. I opened a pack that is nearest to see sandwiches.
Hyoran's eyes gleamed brightly at the sight of the sandwiches. We took out a slice of the sandwich and took a bite.
Hyoran's ears shot up and her tail wagged faster from the delicious taste of tomatoes, cheese, turkey, and the soft bread.
I gestured them to hunt for food so my monsters could eat too and if there are any spares, I'll eat them too as long it's not poisonous.
{1 hour later...}
We finished eating and rested enough. I grabbed the backpack and we jumped across the same river again to resume our travel.
I looked at the sky seeing that it is still in the morning setting and got plenty of sunlight left. I did say it would take hours by foot, but that is without stopping to rest. With the presence of bandits, it'll take up more time.
"Hey, can I evolve my monsters multiple times in one command?"

At that moment, my four monsters roared to the sky and became enveloped in mist, forcing Schwarze and Paura to jump off.
Me and Hyoran who are at the brunt of it probably hurt our ears. Hyoran who is a beastkin probably got tinnitus.
"You can evolve multiple monsters at a time? Amazing!" Hyoran exclaimed as she covered her ears.
Vampa's mist grew larger and turned reddish gray, accompanied by flames floating around him.
Burya's mist turned yellow and blue with lightning bolts flickering about.
Steinberg's mist didn't turn to any color, but it made rocks float around him.
Flammenberg's mist turned red and emitted flames around him.
After awhile, the mist dissipated to show me their greater selves. Vampa is now bigger and his feathers have deeper red with some orange and yellow. Burya's feathers have a gradient of yellow and blue.
Steinberg is now bigger and have plates of rock-like armor stuck on him. His Claws are thicker and sharper too. Lastly for Flammenberg, he has wilder hair in the shape of fire and his eyes are reddish orange on top of that.

Hyoran who is with me touched Flammenberg's fur and quickly retracts it.
"It's hot." Hyoran said.
"Flammenberg's heat did not come from the fur, but from his body. His fur is holding more heat than regular bears." I said.
We continued walking ahead until I see an abnormal gap in the distance. Usually, it's a way to make them think there's a place for rest, but it's a classic bandit ambush or just run straight into a bandit camp.
"Schwarze, Vampa, Burya, go check if there's any bandits from above." I commanded.
Schwarze, Vampa, and Burya flapped their wings to fly above the forest. They fly above the parcel of land to see something abnormal.
*Caw! Caw!*
Vampa called out that he found something. I use my Overvision skill to see Vampa's perspective to see that I was right. There is a bandit camp, but look what we got here!
"Check its stats."

Ah, perfect! A bull! The question remains why would they keep a bull caged up for? Those guys are usually in the Grasslands where there's a lot of stone and many other ores. Ah, they're using it to raid villages and cause panic. Too bad that I'll be using that bull against you.
"Can I name the bull while I'm in this state?"

"And that's what I'm gonna do. How many are there?"

"Stay hidden. Attack when I give the order." I said to the birds. They flew away to the forests to hide. I motioned Hyoran and the monsters to follow me silently to get closer to ambush them. I could go around them, but I don't want to get bit in the ass later on.
As soon as we got close, we stopped to see a wooden tower standing above all to look out for suspicious people. More like unsuspecting people.
