Chapter 12: 11: Unexpected
Klein sighed.
Why was he sighing?
Well, my friend, you remember how he asked Max to not rewind time for at least 2 days so his body could adapt to the energy inside his body because every time she rewinds more of that type of energy enters his body, more damage or causes, and more days he will need to adapt?
Oh well...
Now he just did something incredibly stupid.
Max and Chloe went to the Vortex Club's Party of the End of the World and found Victoria, which they assumed would be the next victim of Jefferson's and he wasn't there nor was her, they went to find her and when they found her, Jefferson killed Chloe while his little lackey drugged Max, this little lackey was someone he found and paid greats amount of money to help him do his perverted shit. Max woke up hours later when Klein arrived with David who found out about the Black Room by himself... Which was impressive because even Klein had a little trouble finding it.
When Max told Klein that Chloe was dead and they had to find the photography that one of Max's friends, Warren, took while he was drunk... This resulted in them needing to go to Arcadia Bay quickly and finding out that the typhoon arrived earlier than it should! Klein theorized that Chloe's death brought the typhoon faster.
"What the fuck are you talking about!? Rewind time!? And more, Chloe's dead!?" Shouted David as he drove Max to the city, he didn't know why he was doing this, but he felt like ot was important! The truth is very simple:

"Oh, Max! Explain to David! I need to go, it is getting closer and faster!" Klein shouted as he from the back of the truck jumped, David was shocked when a pair of golden wings appeared and all he saw was Klein flying towards the typhoon. The winds blew on Klein's face, it was full of the same energy inside his body, it was chaotic energy that reality produced to try and recover from a butterfly effect, mostly by destroying the butterfly effect which also affects reality itself. Reality is fragile. As Klein flapped his wings, he began releasing his energy, which caused the energy inside the typhoon to react and attack him, trying to erase his existence because he was interfering with reality.
As the energy entered more and more of his body, his skin began bleeding as his feathers were being erased and destroyed, suddenly, Klein felt it... Time rewinded, he suddenly saw a timeline in which Max had Jefferson locked away but it made everything worse, she had to rewind but this time she tried to warn Chloe, which took her advice and convinced Klein to come with them to the lighthouse, reality broke and Max found herself in several places at the same time, she found several people from Blackwell Academy and Arcadia Bag searching for her too, she was brought to a dimension which had several doors that each led to the same place, breaking the laws of physic.
She also found herself surrounded by numbers and names, which she had to find the real number, which was hard to do. Soon, when Max's temporal consciousness found her body once again, she had returned to her timeline but made it worse. Klein wanted to curse, but he remembered that he took Joyce and David out of the city. It was all he could do when he coughed blood again, Chloe and Max looked at him. "*sigh* I will go now, I just hope I adapt faster..." Klein flew towards the typhoon, which was stronger and deadlier, the destructive winds hit his body as he flew forward and tried to enter the eye of the typhoon when was there he found something...
A sphere.
A black sphere of the same energy that was inside his body, when he looked at the sphere all he could do was watch as it flew forward faster than he could see and entered his body. He felt no pain, but strangely enough, it hurts. Klein saw that the typhoon was still there, so he could only cough blood as he tried to use his [Manipulation: Wind (B)] to control the winds to spin counter-clockwise, reversing the typhoon and slowing its destructive force. The winds began to slow down, but Klein's body, his cells, were breaking down. The energy he absorbed was erasing his body quicker than his [Meta Powers: Regeneration (A)] could keep up! But of course, his body was adapting faster and faster too, if he holds on for some more time he thinks might adapt to this energy.
His body was completely red by now as his blood flowed down through his eyes, mouth, nose, belly button, and the other orifices. He coughed and coughed as his blood was taken by the typhoon slowly turning it red. His body was using the energy he absorbed to regenerate the body and produce more blood to keep up with the great blood loss. The typhoon began to slow down, Klein was sure it destroyed at least half of Arcadia Bay, but he was successful to stop it and slowly dissipate it. His broken wings returned to his body, he watched the sky as he fell to the ground... His body splashed on the asphalt as he closed his eyes.
Later, when Max and Chloe found his body, they thought he was dead and even shed some tears and sobs, making Klein open his eyes and ask: "It's over yet?" His body was full of blood and his legs and arms were broken, even his neck was! Suddenly his neck snapped back, his arms and legs moved on their own and his bones cracked as they regenerated back to normal. The only thing he couldn't regenerate was his clothes that were destroyed by the typhoon and he is now completely naked but drenched in blood. "So, are we having a party or what?" A few seconds ago, Chloe was silently shedding some tears and said she would party in his name, now that Klein woke up, he wanted to at least party a little.
But they had a lot to do first... One of these things was Klein looking at his new ability...
