Chapter 15: Episode 14: The Twisted Oath

"Carrie Moore. Author of The Day Breaker. Shot to the head with a 92 G pistol." Detective Fox leads agents Violet and Eric to the crime scene. They saw the lifeless body of a woman lying on the bloodied brown carpet with a bullet hole in her head.

They looked at the number of pieces of evidence marked by little yellow markers. The woman was somehow stripped. Her underwear was ripped off and her skirt was pulled upwards. She was raped. Violet looked at the coffee table. "Detective, have you checked the fingerprints on this table?" she asked Detective Fox as he watched her carefully.

"Yes. They're running the results in the lab and we'll get them anytime now," the detective answered.

"Good." Now Violet walked towards the door. The two men followed her. "No forced entry. The victim might know her killer."
