Chapter 84: Chapter 0
The whole galactic supercluster was filled with different species. Species ranging from the most advanced in technological advancements to the still unevolved species like the humans on Earth.
The most advanced civilization secons only to the extinct Protheans on a particular galaxy around a couple of millions or probably ten million light years away from the Milky Way is currently picking up weird signals from the supposed passing through of the mini space probes deployed by the Imperium.
On an observation post on the edge of this galaxy, the scientists and researchers of this civilization was dumbfounded by this discovery but is nonetheless excited.
The civilization is a mix of different species, from literally living rock people to Lithoids and many more can be seen jotting down notes and trying to make sense of the weirdest phenomena they ever seen since they developed the way of faster than light travel.
"This is gorgeous! T-the way this energy fluctuates doesn't follow any sort of scientific theories nor laws we have right now. This only means one thing! We are still far fron the truth of life!" said a bird looking person as he looked at the monitor and was mesmerized by the weird graphs on it.
"Can it be problem on our equipment? The graph is unscientific! It doesn't follow the laws of Physics!" said a rockman as he moved on a different station to try and see if his hypothesis that the phenomena was because of an equipment failure.
But he was soon stunned because all of the stations he walked to was showing a different set of graph and data and each of then has no distinct similarities except its weird nature.
"No! My life's work! My magnum opus, the law that I'm certain can't be broken by anything is... broken." the rockman slumped on to the floor as his body created a loud thud when he landed.
"That's okay, after all, science is the pursuit of the truth and it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong before. As long as you adapt, then everything is fine." comforted a butterfly looking scientist as she gently tapped the rock solid body of the rockman.
But their little romantic encounter was cut off short by a loud blaring sound of warning. The warning was so intense thay the scientists thought they should be under attack by those machine constructs they nicknamed Rouges.
"What's happening? Quick, what's happening!" shouted the head scientist who's a mammal in species as the guards of this observation post immediately entered and started to evacuate the scientists.
"We don't know sir! We only detected a large amount of signal coming through this very station and we can't ascertain who they are!" explained the captain as the scientists are forcefully shoved into the escape ships and ejected off from the observation post and into the direction of what looks like this galaxy's version of the Mass Effect relay.
The whole observation post was deserted almost in an instant as the data gathered wasn't completely stored and only some sets was managed to be evacuated. The rest was destroyed.
"Preparing jump in... 3...2...1..." gate suddenly lit up and escape ships disappeared. The space was suddenly quiet with the only object is the observation post floating gently on the space.
The space around the observation post suddenly warped as intense disturbance made the recording instruments aboard the observation post break as the amount of data far exceeded what they can process.
Just then, the space literally spitted out a space probe with a little flag of the Imperium flying at the antenna stick, silently waving and doesn't show any sign of stopping.
It ignited the search lights and sent out little drones to scan the whole star system faster.
The whole action of this space probe wasn't but undocumented as the other observation post near the star system picked up the weird signal though with large inaccuracies due to distance.
Hours later, the space probe left and disappeared without a trace. But the data was already gathered and a chaos will erupt between the brightest of the minds of this galaxy.
The whole technocracy of this galaxy was upturned just by this simple happening as they scoured the galaxy to try and search for the signal and find whatever or whoever caused that weird signals.
Back at Milky Way galaxy...
The advance civilizations of this galaxy was absolutely clueless on the arrival of the Colonization Ship.
Life continued as usual, using the Mass Effect Relay gates, making their whole society thrive both in economy and cultural aspects.
The time of war still hasn't arrived, dominoes shall fall first before the reappearance of the Reapers.
But the Reapers however, has already managed to finally be aware of the existence of the spying space probes as they readied for battle to eliminate whoever sent this probe.
An unnecessary war, a war deemed worthless by the Imperium. A war not needed to be reported on the state media. A war that only needs a couple of battlefleets from the trillions and still increasing number of the Imperial navy battlefleets.

Earth, a couple of thousand years later, 218 BCE...
The colonization ship has firmly landed and established itself somewhere on the Mediterranean sea. The large colonization ship was converted into a large floating platform with greek motif as the general design.
They kept in contact with the space probe assigned to orbit the Solar system and the Imperium.
The whole world has already advanced on the iron age. The colony was only given the order of scattering the package all over the world.
The package was the yellow skinned people, they're planned to be what will be known later as the protectors of the world.
Anubis, Odin, Thor, Zeus, and many more will be technically real.
A fully functioning society of the Greeks, Macedonians, Egyptians, Mesopotamians, and many more were already long present. Some of them are probably gone by now.
This colony never once intervened properly as this wasn't their job. They're here to watch them and guide them on the shadows, occasionally dropping enlightenments through "divine interventions".
The time is currently just right to complete their next set of assignment as they already completed dropping the packages...
The head of the colony was an old man, he looked like a buffed man with long hair and was currently practicing his swordplay using augmented reality technology when his assistant came inside.
He has aged significantly since he firsr lead the colonization ship from the Imperium and towards here.
"Sir, it's time, just as it was given, Romulus has established Rome and his descendants the Roman Republic together with the three most powerful families, the Scipio, the Brutus, and the Julius will start their journey on conquering the world. Currently, it should be around the start of the first battle of the Second Punic War." said his assistant who's carrying a tablet.
He stopped what he's doing and wiped the sweat off his forehead before speaking.
"I really guess it's time, prepare the my son and his squad including the transportation vehicle. We will make everything go as it should be."
"We will shape history, just as he ordered us..."
