the hive and it's residents and magic only follow my order, but are officially owned by mother. she has enough experience and clout in dark elves circles that if she asks people to show some privacy, they have to our else loose face when found out. this allows me to not show true function of the pyramid, and only show it as an attempt to make an artificial hill to set up a resort of sorts. the hive at top is explained as an unusual looking harpy roost, which it technically is.
my personal devolopment has not been beaten by my financial or property devolopment. imagine every time you went to gym, you felt pleasure like when you have sex or masturbate. pumping iron, or simple running, didn't make you feel pain or soreness, but have you climaxe. how often more would you do it. I used to masturbate 4 times a day in my last life in my teenage, so you know I like a good orgasm.
since I could walk, I've been phisical training. but when I reached 13 year old and had mastered all schools of magic less than high, I mentally programmed myself to feel such pleasure from phisical strain and pain, which was not hard considering I already love pain in all forms. now every time I exercise, I orgasms. it used to be a problem and a distraction in fights, but I've overcome that by using excess life force from orgasm to turn into magic. this means that, although I don't regenerate health directly, the more I get hurt or feel pain, more magic I regenerate.
it was not too difficult to impliment such conditioning to all my new born harpies and accomplished angels alike, such that they derive pleasure and the feeling of having served me if they better themselves. by increasing their performance in any form, they increase their usefulness to me, and they have, since birth been conditioned to love me, serve me and bring pleasure to me by any way they can.
as both my subjects and me myself loved and derived pleasure from phisical exhaustion and pain, it was no wonder that I spent most of my free time exercising, doing push-ups/ dips/ crunches/ squats and many more exercises, multiple times a day, whenever I felt like masturbating. due to doing this constantly in my teenage years, pushing myself and my subjects to our physical limit and then orgasming , my body is more fit than any elf, even 50 years older to me.
And due to deriving magic from orgasms , magic in my body increased by a ton, much more than anyone my age could even handle. this formed a cycle where I would work out and exhaust myself, giving me orgasm, which in turn increased my magic, which in turn insisted that my recovering body also adapt for increase in magic when it recovers enough for next workout. I no longer have the problem that my body could not support enough magic for an extremely costly spell, even if I had knowledge and magic to cast it. that is no longer a problem.
my harpies and angles are similarly accomplished. Angels can even turn excess life force from orgasm to magic like me. after all they are just modified harpies that have learnt to turn their own life force into magic . so now every time any of my angles have sex with any one, for money, or offsprings , with elf or beast, they can reduce their orgasms by turning excess life force into magic. similarly everytime they fight, if they get too much damage too fast, instead of going into rampage like their feral counterparts, they just use excess pain to derive pleasure, and excess pleasure to derive extra magic.
After my mother bought me a hydra for my 20th birthday as my gift for mastering high magic, I've spent most of my time in big closed hall, fighting it to exhaustion. if I get too injured,I use it's own life force to regenerate my health, by magic. I'm doing this to imprint myself in hydra and to break it's will. if it gets too injured, I just let it rest till it regenerates on its own. later at night when he is back to full heath but still too tired, a group of 20 angles come and drink it's blood.
they have different affinities for magic, but they all know death passive spell life leeching. this allows them to not only gain life force to turn to magic, but also due to hydra blood having regeneration properties, it gives them some regeneration as well. while not as dominant as hydra's regeneration, it still allows them to live lot longer and more often they drink it, faster and more qualitative their regeneration gets until it matches the hydar's regeneration, where they can survive a having their head severed from their body.
this group has been the only one that has proven to be able to survive sex with a dragon. it took all of them together, but they were able to survive sex with a black dragon from dragon pen at the black ark . if they get pregnant and lay eggs , I'm guessing that those eggs will have affinity to death magic, as that is black dragon's affinity. that's the best case scenario since it makes it easier to teach them life leeching, which is necessary to become an angel. death magic harpies are the one that grow into angels the youngest. I'm guessing once I get life magic harpies, they would be able turn angel fast as well, since if life leeching is turning life force into magic, a lot of life magic is just turning magic into life force.
this is why after they layed eggs and had a rest, I've had time to give hydra's regeneration to 20 other Angels who then joined the ones before on a quest to find a male forest dragon and mate with him. I could of course, more easily find other dragons, but I don't know yet if dragon born harpies are that much better than other beast born ones, one would think they would have to be though. my main reason for sending them to forest dragon is to gain life magic harpies, rather than dragon born. I have still yet to find any beast or race that would give my harpies shadow, light or life magic, and reducing that list by one is much more of an accomplishment to me that getting more dragon borns.
in fact, I could have easily asked for a dragon rather than hydra, and subdued him to father as many dragon borns as I wanted, but I had to prioritise healing, and I would not let a troll tarnish my beautiful pyramid. hopefully later i can aquire a few dragon egg,(much more valuable/expensive than a full grown dragon). it is well known that the type of dragon is determined by environment in which it lives as egg, rather than their parent. this is why I always roost all my harpy eggs at magic rich rooms, as although their affinity is determined by their father, they still benifit qualitatively from roosting in environment rich with magic of their affinity.
I have not been keeping my personal strength too hidden though. I live in a black ark that sails across the ocean, so we are always raiding someplace or another, in search of loot and slaves. there have been plenty of opportunities to shine and shine I did. every noble dark elf is too impressed and too jealous of my strength, but can't do much as I have favour of the lord of the black ark, lord CrackClaw(one of my possible fathers) and my mother is a very powerful sorceress, a direct disciple of morathi. I've even been given the honour of naming myself and I've chosen the name Tsar. what name I had before this was for a child to be called, what name I have after such honour is one to be feared and dreaded. the name felt appropriate as although I was an American by Nationality, I was ethnically Russian and since I was a king of my subjects of harpies, I named my self Tsar.
even my Angels have participated in these raids, looking like my slaves of different races, while my harpies participated as themselves, beasts that skirmish and distract enemy from behind while the Vanguard attacks. the are also most helpful in collecting routing men as unlike most harpies of dark elves, these are more in control of themselves and hence can choose not only to attack, but also capture when needed.
even my wolf fenrir has garnered much praise at fighting pits and as my mother's Mount in battles and raids. it doesn't perform any outwardly visible magic in the pits and any magic on battle is explained as my mother performing it on him. although my mother can fight in close quarters, it is not her speciality, so having fenrir as close quarters specialist puts my heart at ease that she will have her weaknesses covered. my mother has become famous for jumping from one side of battle field to another at moments notice due to fenrir's version of amber spear. this with her magic makes her a very diverse factor in any battle, performing a variety of functions like dueling or distracting Enemy commander to taking command of any force who's commander has died due to fenrir's ability to jump from any place in battle to almost anywhere else in battle.
while my fell bat, who I've affectionately named bat , grabs on to me from behind like he's cuddling me and can take flight while carrying me, making me look like one of my harpies. this gives me complete range of motion and freedom of movement to disengage any fight I'm not prepared for. the bat even enhances my magic and casting ability, especially for death magic. hence it is no wonder that people think I specialise in death magic, while I specialise in literally all magic, specially high magic as it is a Symphony of all magics and dark magic as it is outside the bounds of all other magic.
spell that I most use/spam in battle is infact high magic spell called soul quench, but it also leans towards death magic more than any other so I get some benifit from using bat as focus, but still have people think I specialise in death magic. I just soul quench most often since it leaves virtually no scars as marks of injury while dealing a good AOE damage, it drains victim of their stamina and hence is best when I don't want to actually kill my victim, but capture them to make slave out of them.
it also has the added benifit of its long range(range of arrow from long bow at normal cast, and range of artillery shots at overcast) so I can cast it from high up in the sky. due to my casting high magic, that leans towards death magic, I can use my targets life force itself to cast this spell making it even more effective, while also giving me some defensive benifit due to high magic's passive. once I've mastered life leaching as high magic instead of death magic, I'll be able to cast all my spells with my targets life force.
similarly I've worked to bring passive benifits of other schools to high magic, so that I gain those benifits every time I cast any spell. fire magic passive increases effectiveness of all fire based attacks for all allies nearby, with high magic it helps increase all magical damage, but specially fire damage. ever since I've been able to have this passive as high magic, I've modified my soul quench it have minor fire/heat effect, only enough to cause 1st degree burn unless you are specially weak to fire. this allows me to stop regeneration of regenerating enemy while also exploiting any for weakness, while basically ignoring fire resistances due to it not really relying on fire for damage, only for superficial burns.
beast magic passive wild heart allows one to generate more magic inside themselves, but only generates beast magic. with high magic it allows me to generate high magic, hence can be used to perform magic from many school. heaven magic passive actually forms a force field of air around allies especially protecting them from flying arrows and creatures, but my orignal high magic passive's defensive nature is derived from heaven magic(shield of saphery).
metal magic passive increases phisical/close quarters damage output, while shadow magic passive increases speed for all allies. their high magic counter parts do the same but also add magical element to phisical attacks if needed (from metal) and alows allies to hide/stalk better, even in plain sight(shadows). light magic and life magic passive increases moral and health of allies respectively, but with high magic they also increase reaction time( light magic) and increase stamina/vigor(life magic ).
once I've mastered all these passive with high magic I get boost in virtually every manner and can share it with my allies, everytime I cast spell. considering my strategy in raids is to spam soul quench,I can buff my allies constantly , especially my harpies, who's affinity harmonise with my effect and gives great affect in certain areas based on affinity. but my angels gain the most out of these buffs since they are familiar with my magic and every time i return impurities that results from our sex back to them, they also get some of my magic in them.
but now, my accomplishments have stabbed me in the back. a very powerful and legendary elf has taken interest in me and my mother is all too happy to relay that message to me as the interested elf is none other than her master, Morathi.
