Chapter 19: The battle between the Enhanced and Mutants
The appearance of the last Mutant made Herro feel a lot more pressure pressing in his heart. He wanted to absorb the Mutant he was currently absorbing a lot faster. But with Herro's absorption rate, it will really take him a long time before he could finish the Mutant he is currently absorbing right now.
Kira and the Mutant had already engaged in a fight. Kira and the Mutant were equal in strength.

The Mutant didn't wait for Kira to reach it. The Mutant grabbed a piece of large rubble and hurled it at Kira, who's dashing towards it.
Kira didn't bother to avoid the ruble that was thrown at her. Instead, she used her skill and she sank to the ground. The Mutant was confused because its enemy suddenly vanished.
Kira suddenly appeared below the confused Mutant and used the force that she accumulated: she springs upward and uses her dagger to stab the eyes of the Mutant.
Even though the Mutant was caught in surprise, it was still able to dodge, but it was a little bit late and its right eye had been stabbed by Kira's dagger.
**Before I will continue the story, let me explain the full capabilities of Kira's ability or skill.
Kira can pass through objects whether they are living or non-living things. If she passes through things, she will be able to pass through the ground. But if do it, she will descend and descend until her stamina runs out that if she didn't, cancel her skill. If she cancels her ability while underground, the ground will reject her and will propel her upwards to the surface.

Because the howl was so loud, Herro's eardrums ruptured and blood was flowing from the inside of his ears. But Herro's endured the pain and continued to absorb the corpse.
The Mutant's howl didn't last long. After the Mutant stopped howling, Kira uncovered her ears and started to run towards the Mutant that was covering its right eye that was stabbed by Kira with its right arm.
But before she could reach the Mutant, she heard the very familiar whistling sound of the air coming from the hole. Then a large shadow loomed over her head. She was confused and stopped in her tracks. She looked up at the hole and saw something she didn't expect.
Herro also heard the whistling sound coming from the hole. His eardrums were fixed easily because he is in the process of absorbing the Mutant.
He and Kira felt their bodies turned cold and cold sweat appeared on their foreheads and backs.
Kira felt that she lost all her reason to live because... There are additional two Mutants descending through the hole!
Her legs wobbled as they lost their strength to support her body. She was forced to sit down in despair as she looked up to the two descending Mutants.
Herro was also felt pressured more than ever before. He was also losing his hope of escaping this predicament befall upon them.
But something snapped in his brain that gave him courage and strength to fight back. It was a memory back when he was still on his correct timeline.
He was with his friends that time when they talked about their lives. His friend asked him, "What would be your greatest regret if you died right now?"
Herro pondered for a couple of seconds and then he answered, "That would be dying while not experiencing the heaven here on Earth." and then he smirked.
His friend was confused by his answer. His friend's brow turned furrowed and creased his forehead in confusion. He couldn't help but ask Herro, "What?!"
Herro sighed at how dumb his friend is: "You should train your intelligence instead of polishing that flirting skill of yours. You already experienced heaven here on earth. What I mean is, I don't wanna die a virgin! I want to experience that thing married couples do... Well, around these days, normal couples do it, and even friends do it, but I haven't experienced it! You're lucky in girls Tin, but your brains are too rusty to understand these things."
"I STILL HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THE HEAVEN HERE SO I CANNOT DIE EASILY! SO DON'T GIVE UP KIRA AND BELIEVE IN ME!" Herro shouted towards Kira, who is sitting in the middle of the hole while waiting for her end.
She was confused about did Herro said about, but when she looked at Him, she saw a completely different Herro.
Herro was slashing the Mutant's corpse desperately and maniacally that it slowly turned into minced meat. She smiled and shook her head: "How can I appear as a helpless girl while my savior is trying his hardest?"
"I WILL HOLD DOWN THESE MONSTERS SO BETTER HURRY TO ABSORB THOSE THINGS SO YOU CAN HELP ME. IF YOU DON'T HURRY BOTH OF US WILL DIE. I WILL EVEN HELP YOU FINDING OR achieving THAT HEAVEN OF YOURS!"
Kira shouted back at Herro as her reply. She didn't have time to ponder what that heaven thingy is. She stood up and started running away from the center again, just to avoid those descending Mutants.
Herro's ear twitched and he started to slash a lot more aggressively at the Mutant he is absorbing. It was not because they would die if he didn't fasten things up, but it is because Kira said that she will help him achieve it.
Herro realized that it would be faster to absorb something if he used his whole body to absorb it and also if the thing he absorbed is already broken down and into small pieces.
Blood soaked in his shirt as he brandished his claws. Thus preventing him from using his upper body to absorb the blood. He removed the armor that was covering his body and also removed his clothes.
Herro's absorption rate increased several folds with this new technique he came up with. Before the Mutants could even descend, he already finished absorbing the first one. Without pausing even a second, he continued to absorb the second Mutant with his maniacal approach.
Then the Mutants descended to the Underground Military Base. Kira, who was now a few meters away from Herro, bent her legs and prepared her daggers. She entered her battle stance and will now put her life on the line. "It is better to die fighting than to die after surrendering," Kira said to herself.
