Chapter 15: Action
The three teenage girls all have a pair of twinkling eyes, as bright as the stars. Their fellow students all thought that it was because of Alia being saved from the accusations by the evidence that Leander found.
But what no one ever expected was, the reason for their sparkling eyes isn't because of that. It was really because of food!
Even Kara was fooled by their smile. She clenched her fist tightly, her nails sunk into her flesh, creating a crescent-like mark with blood seeping out. Her brows knitted and lips became a thin line.
Those girls! I will make you pay ten times! I will ruin the three of you! Hahaha! Just wait and see! There's a day that would be your doomsday! Hahahaha!
Kara laughed internally. She's already planning and counting the eggs that haven't even hatched yet.
But all of this got unnoticed by the three girls. They all went back to their table, and started eating their own separate dessert. On the outside, they looked so calm and steady as they ate, but on the inside, they were all excited and giddy. They wanted to savor each bite, but as they found out that they merely have a few minutes left, and they still have to rest for a while for digestion before they have to walk back to their classroom, they ate a little bit faster than what they normally do.
Meanwhile, the rest of the students were having different thoughts. Some were regretful that they joined in accusing an innocent person, whilst some didn't want to accept such an outcome because they couldn't believe that they were not right with their judgment.
Most of the latter group were Kara's fans. Some were even brave to look at the princes with an expression full of disappointment.
And because of that action of theirs, they became even more disappointed, as those fans saw the guys walking towards Alia and her friends.
The princes' action also causes Kara's frown to deepen. Upon seeing her expression, Alex, who has been silent since Leander's arrival, spoke once again to console her.
The interaction between the two didn't escape Alia's eyes. She watched as Alex bowed near Kara's ears then started whispering.
Her brows turned into a 'v' shape. She wasn't jealous, but was disgusted instead. She didn't know why she had believed him in the past. She had her set of eyes, but still hadn't seen their true colors until it's too late.
She was really a fool! No wonder Kara targeted her. Hah!
Her fist clenched.
I would never be that foolish and naïve girl anymore! I won't let you succeed!
While she was so deep in her thoughts, someone was taking note of her actions. And upon noticing how she watched and reacted towards Kara and Alex's actions, the person's mood suddenly darkened. The person vowed to get all of Alia's affections in the future, the sooner, the better. But soon changed his mind. It should be done slowly but surely.

As the guys approached the table that they were in, Alia and her friends became puzzled.
Why would they come to us?
Are they going to ask for a payment for their help?
Are they here for food?
These questions hang in their mind. They've no clue what the guys wanted. They even looked at one another, but soon found out that none of them had any idea, and were as clueless as themselves.
Even the students were all curious, but one look from Blu, they all turned their heads away. They can't afford to anger him, as his mood can be triggered anytime without even a single warning. Even volcanoes give warnings or signs of exploding before the explosion really happened, but Blu would never give them that privilege.
It was never on his vocabulary in the first place, so why would they trigger him? That's simply courting death!
As soon as the four reached the three girls, Leander patted Alia's head, which made all of the others gasp in shock, including his friends. They can't believe that the aloof guy would've done such a thing!
He hated it when girls got near him, let alone touch him, but now….!
Is this a dream? Or a nightmare perhaps?
Was this guy really Leander Chen?
Jasper pinched himself a few times, but even though his skin had already been red from pain, the scene in front of him neither changed nor disappeared. It was still the same as before– Leander's hand was still on top of Alia's head, so he has no choice but to believe that this was real.
It really seemed surreal, so no one can blame him, they have pretty much the same reactions as him.
Others even did the same method of pinching themselves like what he did!
Leander's fans started badmouthing Alia as soon as they'd overcome their shock.
"How dare that girl! Hmp! Does she hYes! She dared to steal our prince! She must have seduced or tricked him!"
"Sooner or later, our prince will leave her! She's just a duck that thinks she's a beautiful swan!"
"I wanna shave all the hair on that ambitious girl's head!"
"Hmp! Kara was way better than that ugly duckling!"
"Yeah!~ So annoying!"
In the midst of all these talks, Leander smiled at Alia and said, "Little girl, have you finished eating?"
Alia woke up from being dazed when she heard his voice.
"Yes."
When he realized that Alia won't say anything after her one word answer, Leander smirked, thinking that this girl isn't really as annoying as others.
"Then let's go." He pulled her up and picked her bag up and placed it on his right shoulder.
Alia frowned and was about to complain, but Leander's next words made her stop.
"Do you want the others to disturb your peace while walking? You'll be late by then if they start surrounding and questioning you."
Seeing the logic of his words, even Alia's friends who were about to ask, decided to let it go for now.
Why would they let these four free bodyguards go away? It was them who volunteered to do so in the first place. And the three of them really don't want to be late, so why waste time and energy?
Everyone was looking at them as they walked. Especially those who didn't see the commotion at the cafeteria. Some looks were full of awe, some full of curiosity, and of course, let's not forget the jealousy of the guys' fans.
When they arrived at the classroom, Leander turned and patted Alia's head again after he gave back her bag.
He leaned near Alia's ear and said, "Wait for me after class. Don't walk out of your classroom until I arrive."
This made Alia's brows furrow, but before she could ask, the four guys all started to walk away.
Her friends looked at her with curiosity. It seems that they were both curious about what Leander said, so she leaned and whispered the words to them.
They both have a teasing smile after they've recovered from being shocked. Alia rolled her eyes upward and then went to her own desk and ignored the two.
"Hahahaha."
The laughter of the two was heard afterwards.
And in her irritation, Alia placed Leander's words at the back of her mind….
Which she regretted later…
