Feeling curious about the true description of his 'Sage' Innate ability after going through his template as shown by it, Joshua focused his attention on it for about a second or two which caused another series of words to appear floating on mid-air in front of him again.

Joshua easily understood the beginning section of this description but as for the latter section, he couldn't make head or tail about it.
Clicking his tongue, Joshua threw away such unexplainable words to the back of his mind; "Damn it, I'd rather spend my time cultivating"
Positioning himself cross legged on top his bed, Joshua then closed his eyes and casted away every distracting thoughts away from his mind, everywhere around him slowly became quiet and tranquil.
Finally, Joshua could feel a warm flow of energy slowly steep info his body through the pores of his skin with every long breath he takes.
This warm energy slowly circulated around some specific blood channels within his body three times before mysteriously sinking deep into his body, reaching down to his very soul and fusing with it.
Repeating this entire process a few more times, Joshua decided to call it a night by falling on the bed and dozing off.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
A heavy knock sounded out from behind the cottage door jolting the fast asleep Joshua awake as he rushed to answer it before the culprit brings it down.
A gloomy looking old man soon appeared in front of Joshua and yelled at him; "Listen boy, you have got just three days left to pay your rent or else I'll be sending you out, parking away from here"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah....!!! why don't you just wait until those remaining three days are over before you start yaping in my ear" retorted Joshua feeling annoyed from being forcefully woken up.
"Humph....! Okay then... we shall see in three days time" Shocked by Joshua unexpected reply, the gloomy old man could only drop such words as he left.
Although he had managed to chase away his greedy landlord, Joshua wasn't in the mood to sleep anymore, so, he quickly washed up, wore some clean set of cloths and left the house, making his way straight to the village market area.
At this time of the day, the village market was already buzzing with activities.
Store owner were busy haggling with their customers, peddlers were roaming around showcasing their goods and even soldiers from the village milltary could be easily spotted among the crowd of roaming customers moving around in groups of three to five.
Witnessing such a scene, Joshua couldn't help but click his tongue in amazement while thinking inwardly "How the hell is this still a village? With of population of close to a hundred thousand inhabitants, it was practically an under developed city already. No wonder, people speculated that Tree village could transform into a town at any moment"
As Joshua remembered, Human settlements in this world were anything but ordinary because they demanded some extremely harsh conditions to fulfill before they could be established.
Some of the few known ones were; discovering a large area, region or environment with a suitable weather conditions and climate changes. It must also possess an origin vein which are also call lungs of the world since it determines the concentration of origin energy in a particular radius.
In addition with the existence of some necessary resources such as a Common Grade metal ore deposit at the very least and also an accessible wildzone.
What's worse, places which fulfilled all these harsh conditions are usually claimed by powerful Beast for their habitat. Joshua could also very well remember the horrors of the last Beast horde attack that had succeeded in breaking into Tree village five years ago.

After such an experience, Joshua had developed a desire to become strong and it was that same desire that had prevented him from giving up despite his failure in advancing into a Beast Apprentice even after five long years of hard work.
That very same desire is what had merged with the soul of the current Joshua from Earth and ignited in him the burning desire to become stronger too.
With all this thoughts in mind, Joshua nimbly navigated his way through the streets of the market area and arrived at a section containing a few stores which deals on selling low rank Common Grade Beast to Beast Apprentice to tame.
After becoming a Beast Apprentice, even if he was still someone of the lowest rank, being rank one. Joshua now had the right to step his foot inside low grade wildzone and capture any Common grade Beast of his choice, this was still impossible for the current him since as a Beast Tamer, his main source of power lied in his Tamed Beast which he had none at the moment.
Therefore, his only option was to try his luck searching for a good Beast at the village market to buy. Of course, a small part of him wished to discover a hidden gem with the aid of his 'Sage' ability.
Unfortunately for Joshua, after spending over an hour moving from one store to another, he could only come to a conclusion that he must have used up all his present and future luck during his reincarnation into this world.
Thanks to the fusion of one complete soul and an incomplete soul into one body, Joshua had nearly two time's the soul power of a regular Rank One Beast Apprentice and if he could figure a way to increase his maximum soul power capacity, then he would become capable of contracting two different Common Grade Beast as a Beast Apprentice.
Such a prospect assured Joshua's decision to buy a Beast with enough potential to transform into something great in the future with enough training.
And so, after a long contemplation, he finally settled for a young python since they were said to be the very long decendants of Jiao Dragons.
"Boss, I'll take that young python over there" Joshua said to the fat store owner as he pointed at a one metre tall and wide iron cage carrying a half foot wide and two foot long snake.
"Oh that, but such a young Beast hasn't even evolved into Rank One yet and was still an Unranked Beast" the fat middle aged store adviced Joshua with good intentions.
"Doesnt matter! I know what I want and I have my reasons"
"Alright young man. Whatever you say" The fat store owner could only reluctantly agreed to Joshua's demand upon noticing that nothing he says will cause him to change his mind.

Without bargaining, Joshua happily paid for the young python and aslo brought two Rank One Beast core belonging to a metallic Beast, a portion made of a ten years ginseng and finally one dose of body cleansing serum before hailing a carriage to carry both his goods back home.
Although just these few purchases had costed him all of his remaining savings, Joshua firmly believe it to be worth it.
