Chapter 56: Machine's Alarms Going Off

Last time on Licensed to Kill...

I lay here in my hospital bed with Madison by my bedside. We are waiting for the doctor to come and check out my head injury to see if I can go home or not. The nurse was just in to check on me. Madison asks;

"You look better today...how is the pain?"

I smile and say to her;

"Well, to be honest, still hurts but not as much as yesterday. I still have this zing sound in my ears that is driving me crazy, my head is pounding...I can move my arms and legs"

The doctor walks in and says;

"Morning Detective. How is the patient doing today?"

"Still hurting, but not as much as yesterday"

"That is great news, you are recovering fast. How is the head?"

"Got a zing sound in my ears that are driving me craze, the head is pounding but other than that, I am ok"
