Chapter 2: Forest Trouble
Pyrrha walked around Forever Fall forest confidently with her team, with exception of their leader which was away with another team.
Pyrrha did not care however, he had made his choice. She watched over Nora with Ren, making sure she didn't drink too many jars of the sweet nectar that was the sap of the trees in forever fall. They had already collected a jar each and were ready to go. They had been tasked with filling the jars for the Tech excerpt and weapons teacher Mrs Peach who needed the jars for one of her experiments. They were done and could go back to the rondevu to rest and enjoy the scenery, however as the other two members of Pyrrha's team left she stayed behind.
"Pyrrha, cmon! Let's go! Maybe we can ask Professor Goodwitch for more jars!" Nora exclaimed excitedly as Pyrrha took an extra jar she had from her small pouch.
"She'll allow it Nora, she gave me an extra one." The red-haired girl said as Nora's eyes brightened.
"Is that one for us?!" She questioned excitedly. Pyrrha shook her head however, denying that claim.
"No, this is for my friend. He happens to like sweet things a lot." She told her, making the Valkyrie deflate once again.
"That's not fair! At least get one for us as well!" She claimed. Pyrrha giggled and nodded to her statement.
"Don't worry Nora, I'll be sure to get plenty for us." She told her which cheered Nora up.
"You guys go, I'll stay here and get the sap." Pyrrha said while extracting the sap for three different jars now. She knew if she got only one for her childhood friend he'd say it was too little. He had the biggest sweet tooth she had ever seen.
"Alright! Thank you Pyrrha!" Nora yelled while going back.
"Thank you Pyrrha" Ren said in his usual calm voice. Pyrrha simply nodded and continued to take some more sap.
She did a lot for her childhood friend, he was the only one who she could truly stand by when she started to gain fame. He never asked for anything, and he didn't seem to care about her fame either. He was a friend she could also count in, he had helped her a lot during their times together. Still she worried about him, he locked himself in his room, never getting out, never speaking to anyone outside. That might make him seem like a weirdo to some, or a creep to others. But the reality was that her friend was just misunderstood by people.
The three jars were finally full, and Pyrrha went ahead and put them inside her pouch.
"U-Ursa!" She heard someone yell. Widening her eyes she quickly got up and ran towards the commotion.
There she found one of the students running away from the darker parts of the forest. Russel was a teenage boy of average height and a slender build His head is shaved with a light-green mohawk. He wore a hoodie with the sleeves cut off, and two bracers on his arms extending from the wrist to just below the elbow. He wore a brown strap around his chest holding a spiked spaulder to his left shoulder. He also wore dark-gray pants.
Pyrrha held his collar and looked into his eyes.
"Where?" She asked. The student pointed towards deeper into the forest.
"T-That way! T-They have Cardin!" He yelled. Pyrrha let go of him.
"Go tell Mrs Goodwitch!" She yelled running deeper towards the forest. There she saw Jaune.
"Pyrrha! We have to go help!" A girl's voice rang through the forest. Pyrrha turned around and saw Ruby Rose. A girl 15 years old who was almost a head shorter than her. She had silver eyes and short black hair which slowly reddened until the tips where her hair was red. She wore a black outfit with red accents. A black skirt which she claimed was a "battle skirt" she also had a red cape with a hood clipped on her shoulders with cross-shaped pins.
Pyrrha looked behind Ruby and saw her team had arrived. A white haired girl with ice blue eyes who had a side ponytail, she wore a white skirt with a white vest which had a red inside. She also wore high heels, something which Pyrrha would never understand. Her name was Weiss Schnee, of the famous Schnee family.
Next to her was Ruby's sister Yang Xiao Long who wore a tan jacket that bares her midriff, with golden brown piping and short, puffy sleeves with black cuffs that feature two gold buttons. Underneath this, she wears a low cut yellow crop top. A brown belt covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip around the back of her waist. Underneath this is a long, white, asymmetrical piece of material reaching to her knee on the right side, as well as a pair of tight black spandex compression shorts that reach her upper thighs. She wears a pair of brown, knee-high boots and orange over-the-knee socks, with the right sock pushed down just below the knee.
Next to her was Blake Belladonna, a girl with black hair and hazel eyes. She wore a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this was a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg. She also wore black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. A black ribbon was tied with a large bow on the top of her head
Pyrrha saw a giant black bear with a hard white mask on it's head attack two boys. The bear had crimson sickly eyes and several spikes protruding it's back and it's legs. The two boys were trying to fight the bear.
Just like her friend had warned her, an Ursa appeared.
'Damn it! I should've kept Jaune closer to me!' She realised cursing herself for not having listened to her friend's warnings.
He had told her that there had been several sightings of Ursa in the area, but didn't apply that knowledge anywhere. She looked at who the ursa and saw the two boys, both were familiar to her in some way.
One of them was Jaune, a blond boy wearing a black hoodie with chest-plate armor on the shape of a heart. He wore jeans and sneakers. On his arm he had a white shield and on his other arm a sword. The blond boy protected a boy on the ground who was staring up at the boy protecting him. He was Cardin Winchester, a bully of the school who had tormented Jaune in the school after finding out one of his little secrets.
He had chestnut hair which was styled back. He wore armor with his chestplate having a yellow bird extending its wings. He was quite tall, however right now his height couldn't be seen as he stayed down.
"We have to help!" Ruby yelled making Pyrrha smile as she rotated her hand. A small black aura surrounded her hand and suddenly the shield Jaune held moved by its own accord, with his arm along with it, protecting the boy from a strike from the Ursa.

After the whole ordeal Pyrrha found herself back at her friend's apartment. She knocked twice.
"Hello! Brought you some sap and cake!" Pyrrha exclaimed.
"Who are you?!" The man on the other side of the wall asked.
Pyrrha sighed.
"It's me! Pyrrha, your childhood friend!" She answered.
"Hmmmmm" The man hummed making Pyrrha sigh.
"Anyone-"
"Anyone could say that! Yes, yes I know." She said leaving the sweets on the doorstep.
"You were abandoned and my family took care of you when you were little? You were my childhood friend?" She said. The boy on the other side of the wall hummed.
"Yes, that is true." He said on the other side of the door.
"Anyways, thank you for the warning. Have a nice day." Pyrrha said, turning around to leave, however she stayed in-front of the room.
"Hey, would you be ok, if I brought my friends to come and meet you? They are kind of curious about you." She said.
"... I don't mind." He told Pyrrha who widened her eyes and stared at the door.
"Y-you don't?" She asked, shocked.
"No. I do not." He answered making Pyrrha smile.
"Alright, I'll bring them over next week." She told him before saying her goodbyes and leaving to her dorm in Beacon.
"Have fun in the tournament" He replied in a monotone voice.
Pyrrha nodded happily and went back towards school.
