Chapter 8: First Tough Battle
Everyone experienced dizziness of some sort. However, Jim didn't feel anything, maybe as a result of his destroyer genes. However, he did also see a pair of eyes staring at him as they traveled through the inter dimensional space. To avoid suspicion, he closed his eyes while wondering who stared at him.

Once the travel was over, over a thousand students fell out of space. Quickly, some began to rush to their friends to group up. Surprisingly, no group surpassed ten people. Jim began to search for his friends hoping he could find them. It was relatively easy as some had already formed groups and began to disperse.
"Kay, Kay" Jim called out.
Kay turned to look at him. She was a pretty girl with a slender body, fair complexion and always wore a short shorts exposing her fair legs.
"Do you mind joining me?" he asked
"No, I'm even looking for a partner" Kay replied and went to him. Being a prime mage, Davis had no trouble finding Jim. Davis quickly joined Jim's team together with seven other people. Four of which were boys and three girls. Three of the boys were Jim's hostel mates together with the remaining girls. The boys were Jake, Pete, Sen, Jim and Davis. While the girls were Kay, Karen, Lizzy and Janette.
"What do we do?" asked Jim.
"Simple" replied Davis. "All we need do is to survive, and to recognized by the Academy as true survivors, we need to move."
"I don't know if this is the outside world, it's so bright" commented Pete
"It doesn't matter, all we have to do is to survive." Kay said.
"Which way should we go" asked Jim
Pointing towards the south, Davis replied "we'll go this way. However, we'll need some weapons."
The group noticed a stack of weapons people gathered.
"There, we'll get weapons there" Jim exclaimed.
He did this because the system chided him for being the one asking too much questions.
Heading towards the stack of weapons, Jim wondered which class would suit him and what weapon.
Talking to his system, Jim asked "What weapon would be suitable for a destroyer?"
"A destroyer is mainly a combat type although it is rare for a destroyer to use a weapon. However, the most suitable weapons are the dual c blades. However, weapons can be redeemed from the system through points or be given as rewards for level ups or other achievement.
Jim quickly found the reward interface and found the weapons section. Viewing, he discovered a variety of weapons ranging from Spears to bazookas. 🤔 bazookas!!
He sighted a cheap sword which could be bought for 40 points. Jim currently has 107 points gained from defeating Dun.
'Purchase made ' the system resounded. The sword immediately appeared in a dark space in his mind.
'Achievement unlocked'
'purchase your first weapon'

'Would you like to equip?'
Placing his hand into the stack of weapons, Jim equipped the weapon. It was a gold coloured medium sized sword, the hilt had a wide bottom and the sword was slightly curved.
"So you choose the warrior class huh" Davis exclaimed. He had with him gold coloured staff. Kay was putting on a leather jacket which made her cleavage obvious, while she held her shirt in the other hand. Jim wished he saw when she took off her shirt. The two other girls wore hooks clothing and the last carried a staff. The only classes which didn't need powers were the Guardians and the Warrior knights. The other classes were either born with their powers or acquired through training.
Jim quickly put on a brown armour and was set. Out of the three remaining boys, two were guardians with large identical shields and the other was a warrior Knight.
The group immediately started moving forward towards a deserted area. They entered into a large expanse of land with burnt grasses, crumbled buildings and destroyed land areas.
"Everyone, stay together" Jim stated. The Guardians were at the front, just almost by their sides were the Warrior knights. In the middle were the hooks who had already powered up, possessing a silver aura with the emission of strands of thin metal like strings. They looked menacing now, it seemed they were born with this ability. Most likely intermediate ability users.
Just behind them were the mages ready for a good fight.
'POW!'
The Guardians at the front were knocked back with a powerful force. The immediately picked up themselves and stood up straight. Looking forward, the whole group saw what looked like a hound with blood shot eyes and red sharp stakes teeth's. Unfortunately, there were three of these deadly hounds. The three hounds rushed towards the group quickly. The ground beneath the hounds seemed like it was melting. Out of it, silver strands of thin like metals came shooting out piercing the hounds and attempting to hook their legs. The hooks hands glowed with a faint silver glow.
The Guardians ran towards the hounds attempting to smash into them. The bigger hound broke free of the hooks and smashed into the one of the shield with it's horn sending the shield and it's handler flying back, before flying back from being smashed by the other shield.
Jim before rushing to battle used Aura vision to know the strength of the hounds. They emitted a black red aura signifying that they were at the Autonomous level beasts. Jim had placed Autonomous level beasts as his enemies giving him a considerable boost when fighting them. Immediately activating his destroyer genes and enhancing his body causing him to give a faint glow of purple aura, he rushed into battle engaging a beast together with Kay.
'Arrgh' Kay flew back from a hit from the beast. Angrily, Jim leaped up high and twisted quickly around the beast on coming in contact with the floor, enhancing his foot, he kicked the beast hard in its stomach then plunging his sword into it's stomach.

Jim was knocked away by a flying Davis.
'Arrgh' his back hit the floor badly.
Standing up, he felt rejuvenated with new vigour. Not caring where the energy came from, he rushed into fight again together with his counterparts.
